The screen broke on my iPhone 5. I brought it in and was told it would take a half hour and cost $75. Came back and my phone screen was replaced but didn't work. The owner tried 3 different screens but none worked. He sent the phone off to a specialist. I was without a phone for 2 days. Later I got word my phone was officially broken. I was upset. Owner said he'd order me a phone. I was like, "this is nuts!" The phone arrived. He apologized and thanked me for my patience. Phone cost him $250. He only charged me the original $75. There's a lot of talk out there about honorable men. Whether or not true gentlemen still exist. Well, let me tell you that a honest and just man works within the walls of iTel. I came here today with my dad because I shattered my iPhone SE screen and am leaving tomorrow for 3.5 months to live in France and for sure could not afford a new phone. This was our second time coming here, the first being a year or two ago when I shattered my old phone's screen. My dad and I came back because we remembered how great the service is! We didn't catch his name either time (we will next time for sure, although hopefully we don't break anymore phones soon), but the gentleman who helped us both times is very kind and friendly! The prices here are beyond reasonable (65$ for my iPhone SE screen to be replaced, anywhere else is almost always 100$ or more), and the turnaround time is very fast (an hour for my phone today). Breaking your phone is always stressful as nowadays smartphones, especially iPhones, are so expensive to replace or fix (and it's doubly stressful when you are moving across the Atlantic the next day), but this place will save your a** and your phone-breakage stress will disappear! 10/10 service and price, I'll recommend this place to anyone! read more

I cracked the screen on my LG G2 - rendering it completely useless. Seeing the good reviews here on Yelp, I called and got a quote. Sounded good, but not knowing what the going rate is for a screen repair, I called another shop on the Danforth and was quoted 30% more (and the possibility of an even more expensive repair *IF* they found more damage beyond the screen....which you know they were likely going to find). So, I took my phone to iTel. It took longer to fix than expected, but the shop owner did make two trips to Markham to try to locate the parts (my phone is an American model) - which he didn't charge me additional for. I'm sure any other shop would have levied additional fees, so I appreciated that he charged what he quoted. I would go back again for future repairs. Highly recommend! read more

I went to this shop a year or so ago and did not write a review at the time. My son lives in the west end and was having trouble with his computer. He went to a shop on College and they lied about what repairs need to be done. I told him to make the trek east next time. I needed my hard drive replaced in my mac. I had previously done this somewhere else and was charged 300. This shop charged me 100 and did a great job. I went there after to purchase a keyboard and was about to get a more expensive one when the kind gentleman told me that a less expensive one would suit my purposes. A true and lovely man. The audio jack and camera on my S5 was broken, and I searched many places in order to find one that was able to fix the issue. I found out about iTel Wireless on Yelp. The owner of this shop is a very kind and dedicated individual who went out of his way to provide exceptional customer service. The S5 is a difficult phone to repair due to its delicate screen, but he still managed to get it done very promptly. I stopped in today needing my iPhone 4S screen replaced. I was in a rush and use my phone for work 24/7. The service was extremely courteous and fast and they even gave me a loaner phone while I zipped to a meeting close by. When I returned after an hour they were just finishing the work - exactly within the time they estimated. The cost was less than other places I researched and the work was perfectly done. My phone fell out of my bike basket and onto the street car tracks and the screen was totally smashed. I brought my phone to ITel after reading great Yelp reviews and it was totally worth the trip. The store manager fixed it in just over 35 minutes. Unfortunately there were additional problems from the fall but I brought it back to him and he fixed it for no additional charge right on the spot. Shakeel is a good man. Rare in the business that he is in. I called two companies about saving the data on my Iphone with a screen that no longer worked. He came up with a plan that was best for me and not for him (financially). Saved me hundreds of dollars, and yes, i do mean hundreds. Finished the job in one day when i was told by the other 'experts' that it would be at least 2 weeks. We need to support small business in the neighbourhood as much as we can. I took my iPhone to a Mobilicity dealer and after 2 weeks, my phone was STILL locked. They had no explanation for it. Frustrated, I took my phone to Shakeel at iTel - he had it unlocked 24 hours later. He was such a pleasure to deal with - polite, soft spoken, respectful and honest. I would highly recommend him. In fact I'd go out of my way to use him again. BTW, apparently Rogers' servers were offline which is why Mobicity couldn't unlock my phone. The fellow here did a great job - he had a better price than anyone else, and provided excellent service, taking in my phone a half hour before closing, fixing it, and calling me back to pick it up 45 minutes later in perfect shape. I went here solely based on the reviews, and they are all justified. Thought my battery died on my iPhone 4 and went in and he said likely the battery needs replacing or there is a connection problem with your charging port. So $35 to fix. Great! When I got back an hour later it ended up being a connection problem elsewhere in the phone and he only charged me $25. So I can agree with the other reviews that he was just and fair! read more

I went in immediately and he got the job done in 30 minutes and I am very happy with the results. Very nice man who is very helpful and deserves the business.
