My experience to replace the screen on my 8" Samsung Tab A with the Danforth store started off great but through the process it got quite frustrating because I kept on going back over and over for the same issue, the staff was great always willing to help and provided great customer service, but guess what that did not help with my screen which to no end kept on peeling/lifting up visit after visit. It seems each time we brought it back they would do work on it then after a few days the issue would surface. Now I had sourced this company for their service and warranty as well as the reviews, but all of that did not help me. I took it back for what I hoped was the very last time, but was I wrong same issue again, oh my gosh I was so annoyed.! I decided I am never going back, I was over it, I was done! done! done!, I told my husband. I just wanted the screen to stay down was that too much to ask! I just wanted it to be "fixt". Well I decided I was not just going to go away without one last say so I sat down and crafted an email that I felt put everything in context, I expressed how I felt and how I felt my issue was not "fixt" I made it known that I was annoyed and disappointed. There! I had my say and honestly I left it at that, but to my surprise my husband called me to say someone from fixt called and wanted to speak to me about the email, I was surprised to even get a phone call. Well my email had reached the Director of Sales, he called me personally to apologize and say he wanted to make it right. I was truly caught off guard and when he told me that he would fix it by replacing my table with a new one I was floored I never expected that at all, I am most thankful that he valued my experience that was more valuable to me and replacing my tablet was just a bonus in my eyes! So thank you to the fixt team a company that appreciate their customer but also stands behind their name and reputation, a company like that I welcome and appreciate, so I now have a bonified place that I know I can trust with my wireless repairs whenever needed and one that I no doubt will recommend to my friends and family with complete confidence! I brought my phone to the Danforth location for repairs. While in Europe, my phone dropped in a toilet and since I was away and in hotels, I had no access to a bowl of rice or anything else that may help dry and save my phone. It was turning on and off and being glitchy, so semi-functional but by the time I got back home (2 weeks later), the phone was completely dead. I sent it for repairs somewhere and they only managed to get it to "recovery mode" and only when connected to iTunes. They advised they could restart the phone but all data would be erased. The Danforth team was great and dried my phone even further and more extensively but wasn't able to get far either without completely erasing all data. I had a lot of data and photos saved and while they would have probably been able to restart my phone and fix it, my main concern and priority was getting my photos and memories back. They said that if they weren't able to get it repaired and if I was dead set on getting these photos back, they had someone at their Burlington location who could take a look. I gave them permission to send my phone to the Burlington shop as I wasn't really ready to give up on my photos. Fast forward to barely a few weeks later, they managed to not only recover ALL DATA AND PHOTOS but also restored my phone. It is in perfect working condition and I cannot thank the team enough. They are wizards and kept in touch throughout the whole process. They always kept me updated on costs and never did anything without my permission. If something changed in the price or if there was to be additional costs involved, I was always notified and asked before moving forward. It's worth it to note that even with additional costs because of the extensive work, the price was so beyond reasonable and I'm glad I found them. I did a lot of research before bringing my phone to get fixed, after reading the positive reviews about Fixt I decided to give it a try. My phone screen wasn't working when I touched it but you could see it the display. I brought it in and it was fixed and working perfectly in 45 minutes; they also have a lifetime guarantee on their repairs which leads me to my next visit today. My screen had popped off on the bottom corner so I brought it in and they repaired it for me at no charge. The people that work here are extremely nice, courteous, and always willing to help out. They will give you a free diagnostic on your phone and give you a call when its completed and inform you of what needs to be done before they do it so you're aware of the process. They aren't the cheapest phone repair service out there but I'd rather pay more knowing I get good service then pay for something cheap and not be guaranteed, you pay for what you get. Was having trouble with my iPhone 5c in regards to the charging port so I brought it into Fixt and the owner, Mahdi and his great group of technicians and front desk help were able to fix the issue I was having. All the employees are all very knowledgeable and have backgrounds in the wireless repair business. I dropped off the phone and within an hour the repair was done, plus with a bonus lifetime guarantee and modest repair prices you can't go wrong with this shop. Felt comfortable going here compared to many other places located in the east end because of the great service and lifetime warranty which is hard to find at any 3rd party cellphone repair shop nowadays. Each time I've gone in, they evaluate the problem at no charge, and give me a good explanation of what's going on to let me decide whether to go forward with the repair or not. Although I was initially stressed about my damaged phone, the staff were extremely friendly and made the experience personal and more pleasant. Went today to repair a cracked screen & replace my headphone jack for my IPhone 6. The service was amazing and under an hour (which is very important for my job) and very affordable. These guys were awesome. Got all the data from my smashed Android transferred onto my new phone for a very reasonable price.
