    I came in with two laptops: one that wouldn't update its operating system and on which I'd messed…read moreup the screen with some oily eyeglass cleaner; the other I couldn't start at all bc the keyboard didn't work, plus - just a small thing - none of my passwords were current. That last point was causing, umm, major problems on both laptops. Nyasha (pronounced NAW-sha) fixed all of the above. While deftly serving other customers. And he allowed me to stay, use his power cords on my laptops while downloading the needed software updates in his shop. This was invaluable. Had I not been in his shop I would not have been able to work through the roadblocks that came up during the downloads. He wasn't even going to charge me for his time! So I'm buying an external keyboard, a keyboard cover, and 2 gigs of RAM to thank him for restoring both of my laptops - and their screens- to high-functioning beauties.

This is from an…read moree-mail replying to a message noting that a recently-replaced iPad screen had cracked: Our warranty clearly states that we do not cover the effects of gravity, stupidity, and water. It is a litany that is recited at the presentation of each and every products we repair. We would be pleased to examine your iPad. As for coverage under our warranty program, that is another matter indeed. I would be pleased to examine your iPad. We have the tech to clearly see if force as been applied to an area by polarized light. We use that when we work with law enforcement. It is quite revealing. I am sure we will hear from you soon, Michael R. In my 30+ years of customer service and 25 years of technical support I have never experienced a response from a service provider where they made thinly veiled...suggestions...that a client is guilty of negligence...much less of warranty-breaching stupidity. Needless to say I have not replied and will NEVER return.
