The screen worked but showed a wavy pattern now like wrinkled paper. The screen protector showed a clear point of impact. I took the iPad back to the store. They refused to do anything, and since I had taken it home before noticing the problem, I couldn't prove anything. Just check everything before accepting a repaired item back.
