That last point was causing, umm, major problems on both laptops. Nyasha (pronounced NAW-sha) fixed all of the above. While deftly serving other customers. And he allowed me to stay, use his power cords on my laptops while downloading the needed software updates in his shop. This was invaluable. Had I not been in his shop I would not have been able to work through the roadblocks that came up during the downloads. He wasn't even going to charge me for his time! So I'm buying an external keyboard, a keyboard cover, and 2 gigs of RAM to thank him for restoring both of my laptops - and their screens- to high-functioning beauties.

The screen worked but showed a wavy pattern now like wrinkled paper. The screen protector showed a clear point of impact. I took the iPad back to the store. They refused to do anything, and since I had taken it home before noticing the problem, I couldn't prove anything. Just check everything before accepting a repaired item back. The repaired charge port works fine and I have to live with the damaged screen.
