DON'T BRING YOUR STUFF HERE. I had brought previous items here; a cracked phone, a computer, and a friends cracked phone - and I always had a feeling something was a little shady, but the price was cheap so I kept going back. Guess I learned my lesson the hard way. Brought in another cracked phone and when I got it back the screen was fixed but the sound didn't work. I took it back to him and he said he'd fix it, when I got it back the battery kept dying really fast and Andy said there was nothing he could do about the sound. I mean, it's a phone, IT NEEDS SOUND TO BE A PHONE SO YOU CAN MAKE CALLS! I took it to another phone guy and he said my screen had been replaced with cheap chinese part, the sound was totally fixable, and that it was a cheap knockoff battery. Basically, Andy at ifix it stole parts from my phone and replaced them, while also breaking my phone. I'm in the process of looking into legal action. This guy is a scam artist and thief. read more

If I could give them half a star that's all they'd get. I took my laptop there to get it fixed, they said it would only be a few hours. I went back to get it and was told I wouldn't get it until the next day. The next day I went back and they couldn't find my laptop - that's when I found out they outsource some of the work. Had I known that they'd be giving my laptop to a total stranger outside of their establishment I never would have given it to them. 3 days later I get a call that they 'found' my laptop. I went to the store to get it only to have it even worse then I left it - I then took it to a legit Apple repair store and they told me the Apple parts were replaced. Apparently ifix basically took my laptop and stripped it for parts. The guy running ifix 'Andy' is a shyster and scam artist. Don't take your stuff to them. Andi is my go to guy for my computer needs. He is always fast and very reasonably priced. My friend took her computer to a place in Peterborough who told her that her macbook pro had water damage. They charged her $60 just to diagnose it and were going to charge her $430 to fix it. I told her I know a place that will do it cheaper, better, and faster. I took it to Andi who had it fixed in a few hours - replaced the motherboard for $220. Compare: place in Ptbo: $490 vs Ifix: $220. I brought my Sony Varo laptop in. The lower shell was cracked terribly thus the whole bottom shell needed to be replaced. These gentlemen were not only very polite and patient but did an amazing job bringing my computer back to too new condition. They completed the work within time frame promised and took the time to assist also working out some other concerns I had with programming. Pricing very reasonable.
