It is very charming and cozy; the tables feature small vases of fresh flowers, and everything is spotless. The staff is very polite. We ordered toast and could choose from a selection of toppings--whipped cheese and hot honey--which were incredibly delicious. They bake their own bread, and I highly recommend the cinnamon-raisin loaf. The one thing to know before visiting is that the wait times are very long; we waited an hour and a half for an omelet and toast. Also, they don't have Wi-Fi, so it's better to bring a book.

This is a order from the counter type of place or there is a case of selections you can order from as well (like lasagna and brussel sprout salad for example.) Employees are super friendly, we did come at a very busy time so had to grab a dirty table so we could have a place to sit. As soon as we saw someone she came right over and wiped the table clean for us. My friends order lasagna, smash burger and a chicken Sandwhich. I opted for the turkey panini and It was the most delicious turkey panini I have ever had. The description on the menu: Turkey with cheddar cheese, pickled red cabbage, special sauce on marbled rye. YUM! The rye was perfectly buttered and toasted which held well to the pickled cabbage and special sauce. Perfect paring with turkey. I also had to try the Kaaterskills Hazy IPA, and perfectly hoppy.and not too heavy! Perfect meal after a day of exploring. I encourage you to try them out if your are ever in Tannersville NY. The exterior is misleading & easy to pass by if you're not in the know - don't let it fool you! Breakfast is only served on weekends between 8 AM & 1 PM & we just happened to be there. Service was extra warm & welcoming - we had our pup with us & it was a not so great weekend weather wise & while we offered to order & sit outside at a table as to not disrupt other diners, they managed to put us in their back room so no one had to eat out in the cold (Pepper can't write her own review, but she says thank you, two paws up!) While the menu is small, one item is better than the next & you can't go wrong no matter what you choose! Prices are reasonable for everything you get & in today's economy, it's a rare find! The apple pancakes were to die for & honestly, the biggest pancakes I've ever seen! Fresh biscuits with maple butter (YUM!) Don't pass up on the extra creamy & delicious chocolate milk!
