This is such a cute breakfast place and has the most welcoming environment. There are lots of seating options to include a patio, 2 indoor areas and a nice countertop. Our waitress Tammy was quick to take our our order as a party of 5 and was very patient with our 4 year old. The food was out within just a few minutes of ordering. Everything was super tasty and piping hot. The plates were all under 10$ with generous portions. The coffee was very well made - not too watery and had the perfect amount of flavor. We snagged two danishes on the way out : the peach and cherry. Both were delicious and well portioned. We will definitely be back in the near future! read more

Reputed to have wonderful breakfasts. Went to check it out. Nearly turned around at all the 2nd Amendment signs, fearing I'd found a place where I wouldn't be welcome, but when I scrutinized the "weapons raffle" poster, I found that the guns featured were working men's long guns suitable for hunting and varmints and unsuitable for slaughtering schoolchildren or legislators, and I don't have a problem with those types of guns, so I decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did. The folks were all so friendly, and the pancakes and corned beer hash surpasses any other: pancakes were exceedingly light and fluffy, more eggy and not the dough bombs one finds too often today. The environment was family friendly with church folks, young families, and older folks from around town saying their hellos and spoiling the kids. Really did like it, look forward to returning. Wheelchair access is fair, with a ramped entrance and narrow passes between the the tables sufficient for medium wheelchairs or walkers. Thanks to Yelp we found this great local spot for breakfast near our hotel. Very quaint hometown place with great friendly service, and some great home style food! I got to have another one of my old school favorites Biscuits with sausage gravy, The biscuits were perfect and the sausage gravy was delicious! I also heard the French toast was great so I had a side of that also and the reviews didn't lie that was great too! I was told the corned beef hash was delicious as well... I was sure I'd like this place when I read the origin story at the bottom of this page. Given that I veer toward salty over sweet, I figured I'd skip French toast but that left a tough competition between two other Yelp-approved items. In an extremely close race, I figured the biscuits and gravy would have more variability and also noted that it was listed at the top of the specials list, so the corned beef hash will wait for next time. The wait.....we came at 10:35 our food didn't come until 11:15. So 40 minutes of waiting for breakfast. They said they were busy but we weren't warned before we ordered and being on the road it was way too long for us to wait. Eggs, toast were okay. The pancakes were phenomenal (the only reason this isn't lower score). Best pancakes I've had in the US The toilets are clean the staff is friendly. During the pandemic, my husband and I bought a house up in the Adirondack Park we needed to completely renovate. This left me without a kitchen and I really missed a good breakfast but wasn't able to find one until now. I ordered ahead and my husband picked up the food. It was perfect. Every bit of it. From the home fries (best I've eaten in the area) to the bacon and eggs. My husband raved about his pancakes as well and they looked delicious! I will definitely be back. Ate here on a Sunday at 10am. We were seated promptly. They had several daily specials plus a small case of baked goods on display. BF ordered a sausage/egg/cheese omelette which was filled with meat. The accompanying hash browns were crisp and flavorful. I got the 2-2-2: 2 pancakes, 2 sausage links and 2 eggs. I added bananas and walnuts to the pancakes. The pancakes were cooked perfectly and delicious with the add-ons cooked into the batter. Eggs and sausage did not disappoint. Even better was the service: the food was out to us very quickly, they checked on us frequently, refilled the coffee promptly and brought us our check without much of a wait. Wonderful, family owned and operated gem on North Perry Street. One of if not the only spot you can get gluten free food in town. And what yummy food it is too!! The pancakes are so fluffy, I don't know how she does it. Local beef burgers, so very juicy and available on - you guessed it - a gluten free bun! We immediately felt welcome amidst what appeared to be locals who knew the staff, but everyone was polite and friendly. The place was busy Sunday late-morning, which we expected based on the rave reviews. I couldn't decide what to order, so I got two different items: strawberry shortcake and sausage gravy over biscuits. They let me order a half-size of the sausage gravy, which came with only one biscuit instead of two. This was perfect since I was getting ANOTHER biscuit with my strawberry shortcake! Railway Cafe rocks! My girlfriend found this and it really was like eating at someone's house.. literally. The were otherworldly and my gf had the french toast with apple and caramel glaze.
