I walked around to check out some of the other spaces outside of the restaurant area and I love that they have kept so many of the historical facets and spaces alive. In the meantime, I really had no idea that a "taco Tuesday" in Broadalbin would actually be something to talk about! First thing to note is portion size. Gigantic. We all had leftovers. A LOT of leftovers. And while it might not be real "traditional" Mexican food, the quality was excellent. Food was nice and hot; our server was very friendly. The only glitch we hit: the iced tea tasted terrible. Not sure what happened there, but the rest of the meal made up for that. I have no idea what the rooms are like or how it is as a hotel, but if you live nearby, you might want to stop by for a nice meal. We could tell that lots of regulars go there. As for the food- just as great! My husband got pancakes and they were some of the fluffiest pancakes I have ever seen! I had to steal a bite (or a few) and they were moist and buttery.
