So good! Infinitely patient, straightforward, and creative. This is exactly what I need in a contractor. We bought a house that hadn't been updated in a long time. It needed renovations with a bit of historical accuracy in mind, but also with ADA considerations for a family member who uses a wheelchair. Aaron was patient and even seemed happy to come up with a variety of configurations for me to consider at every step in the process. Whenever I threw another complication in, Aaron responded thoughtfully and with good humor. In the middle of basement work, I suggested additional bolting for earthquake safety--no problem! Surprise leaking sewer pipes! Got it! Lead abatement? Okay! He was straightforward with costs, and explained places where I could save money while staying safe and/or pretty, as well as where I shouldn't cut corners. Giant Squid Construction is simultaneously chill and efficient. How does that even work? Creative and practical! What? High quality design and reasonable prices! What is going on here? Giant and a squid?!
