The top layer is pre sliced chicken breast. The bottom is a tortilla wrap for comparison.

Torn with this review- I wish you could give the meat, produce, cashier, and deli sections separate reviews. The meat section- Mike is awesome, friendly and helpful. They all do what they can to stock what they've got! And will always check in the back for you if you have a request. The produce- Lance is the best (even if he likes the Ravens, haha!) He is always kind and helpful, pointing you in the direction of good sales and it's so appreciated! There is also a new employee who started a few weeks ago, who has also been great. The cashiers- way more often than not, go above and beyond to help you with a smile. I think I had one bad experience in two years. There's one cashier in particular whose name I cannot recall- but she wears a tweety face mask and she always makes me smile. I try to go to her check out lane when I food shop! Here's where the two star review comes- that honestly should be a one. The deli section. If you get greeted, it's always with an attitude that they don't want to help you. It's gotten to the point that I just get the pre- sliced meat (or skip cold cuts for the week, if they're old which often they are). Yesterday, I purchased chicken that I may actually bring back. It was disgusting. The slices were thicker than my tortilla. Pic attached. To sum up- tiny location with great employees (just avoid the deli section). If you need cold cuts, go next door to Calvert Woodley!

Vanessa Wilkerson was extremely rude and argumentative. We spent 45 minutes in the balloon and flower department waiting for assistance. After attempting to flag down four different people, Vanessa Wilkerson finally came over. After explaining how long it took to receive help, and how poor their selection was Vanessa became extremely combative. We asked for her name but she rudely ignored us, and walked away.

Ordered delivery from Giant. Almost 1/3 of items missing. Delivery was late. Disappointing. Won't use them again

This location is very spacious and offers a wide range of items, including pre-cooked meals,…read moreflowers, fresh baked goods, hot bar, and produce. While some items, especially the ready-to-cook meals, are on the pricier side, you can still find great deals with their private-label products. I really enjoyed the alcohol selection. They carry everything from casual everyday wines to reasonably priced bottles that are actually quite good. The section is well organized, which makes it easy to browse. They also have hard liquor and beer, so most people will be able to find what they are looking for. Another big plus is the number of self-checkout stations, so I did not have to wait in line. The parking lot can be a bit confusing and chaotic depending on the time of day, so keep that in mind. Do not forget to get your parking validated before leaving the store.

Folks working there engage with customers and ask if you need anything. Very well organized and nice layout. They sell actual booze, like vodka, tequila. Not in VA, lol. Only problem, if you misplaced your parking pass, which is free for first 2 hours, then you gotta pay. I could not find my ticket to validate, so I had to pay. Sucks. In VA, you can park all day. I used to go to Wegmans after work, get a meal and study for hours. Not here. Gotta pay to park. I think they ought to revise the parking situation.

If you've been in one Trader Joe's in your lifetime, you know the layout is pretty much the same…read more However, this is one of the largest of the few in the area I was in, which was on Wisconsin Ave. What sets this apart from where I live in Maryland is the fact that in Maryland you cannot buy wine in grocery stores or places such as Trader Joe's and on top of that the wine/liquor prices in Maryland are outrageous. Therefore, for that moment I felt like I was in heaven when I stopped in and saw the wine selections, my heart was happy, I felt like I was back home in Seattle, WA, and for those of you who have never been to Washington State, one thing you need to know is this, you can buy beer, wine and liquor very late at any grocery store, 7-11, gas stations and/mom & pop stores in and outiside of the city and that's why I was so happy to see Trader Joe's in DC had the option to shop for both groceries libations (wine). The staff members are always happy to help you find items, and customer service is always great, in my opinion. I love me some Trader Joe's, even if I'm not able to purchase wine at my local Trader Joe's, or not is still my favorite place to shop for my groceries since I eat the same thing I already know how much I'm going to spend on griceries. and I will take the drive. However, now I will make the drive to DC to do both when I can. After all, I'm a road warrior. Again, this is just my opinion and experiences. Love U!

I regularly go to the Glover Park location so am quite familiar with the layout, but I must say this location is spacious and even when it's busy, it's rarely overwhelming. Also the staff here are what makes this location so great! They are always so friendly, fast, and efficient! I have been to other locations where there was a lack of friendliness and efficiency, and these qualities really make the difference. Trader Joe's also still manages to have reasonable prices in DC which I appreciate. Lastly, they have free parking which is always a bonus.

Overall an OK stop for a sale or convenience pick up but wouldn't do a big grocery haul here…read morebecause of higher prices. It's a smaller sized grocery store compared to some so may have less selection. Has a fair sized parking lot. Newer self checkouts have made the lines go a bit faster. Prices are higher here but sometimes sales & coupons from the app can be good and I regularly see meat products marked down on manager discount as well (but maybe because of dates). Also has a deli counter & a raw seafood counter.

I've been now FOUR straight Mondays and no roasted chicken. And, every SINGLE time I ask when more will be ready, they always say 30 to 40 minutes. I literally waited the 40 minutes two weeks ago and came back to the deli and the deli staff person told me (different person than 40 minutes ago) that he just got in and it would be 30 to 40 minutes!!!! I go at 3 pm, no chicken, i go at 430, no chicken, i got at 530, no chicken. When there isn't the "deal," there's always roasted chicken, but on Mondays, there's "30 to 40 minutes." Bait and switch much?!? This time, i talked to the manager (just arrived on shift today at 530) and told her that this keeps happening. She walked away from me as I was taking to her TWICE. I asked for a rain check since this is the 4th straight time and was dismissed. They actually don't seen to care at all. And it's always the same deli staff telling me it'll be 30 to 40 minutes. They know me by now but don't seem to care about this. They have the fried chicken and the habenero chicken, just never the roasted chicken. My daughter loves the roasted chicken, but not on Mondays I guess.
