I asked a member of the Deli department if any were available. The gentleman looked for the item in the freezer. He did not find the pepperoni. However, another member found the item and quickly prepared the item. As I checked out all my items and left the store, a third employee wished me a nice day. He nonchalantly pointed to an area that did not store any of the beverages. Then, I asked a second employee. (She did not speak English.) She steered me to Customer Service. Finally, I approached the manager at Customer Service about the issue. He argued with me, stating that the energy drinks were in Aisle 18. Any corrective conversation should be handled privately and respectfully. When I later expressed my concern regarding this behavior to the Store Director, Vikki Eiswert, I was told to leave the store after stating that I felt her approach toward the employee was rude. Rather than engaging in a professional discussion, she stated she would not argue, removed items from my hands, and proceeded to contact law enforcement. At no point was I aggressive or causing a disturbance; the only issue was that I voiced my concern about her conduct. I will not be shopping at this location again, and I intend to ensure that this experience is brought to the attention of the appropriate parties. No one--whether a manager or a store associate--should be spoken to in a belittling or disrespectful manner. The employee involved was not at fault, and being in a leadership position does not justify speaking to employees in an unprofessional way. While being asked to leave the store is not my primary concern, I will continue to share my experience until it reaches the appropriate level of review.

The processing area is open to the shop, so be prepared for a strong smell when you arrive or go inside. Inside the store they have a lot of meat products already wrapped ready to go, and a case where you can pick what you want. There are other local products like meat sticks to purchase. It can be pricy but I think it's healthier than what is sold in stores. Staff were nice and knowledgeable. They offer meat packages and said they would be willing to trade out products (like pork) for a similar product they sell.
