The people who work the registers clearly are not messing around, so you do get out quickly, even though the lines are quite scary, as is almost always the case. We grabbed hot dogs and pizza from the food court. You'd be a fool to pass up that value. We were a little confused at first because we didn't see the seating area. It's been moved into a little side room, which I think is part of the area where they used to store carts, but hey, it's fine. It's clean. There's still plenty of seating area. No big deal.

We had several problems working with Scott Loewenstein at Wholesale Cabinet Distributors. First, he…read moredid not want to drive to Virginia to deliver the cabinets, so we paid more to have them sent directly from the manufacturer. We live on a narrow street that is lined with public parking, and the cabinets arrived in a truck that was too large to fit down the street. I called Scott and asked him what he was going to do, and he told me he didn't know, it had never happened before. I was left to work out delivery options with the frustrated truck driver instead of with my salesperson, and delivery was delayed, thus delaying installation. Second, there were issues with the measurements. Scott's design included a corner cabinet that didn't fit through the kitchen door, even though he had the measurement of that opening. The contractor had to cut the cabinet to get it into the room, thus invalidating our warranty. The cabinet over the refrigerator also did not fit, it was too large for the space. When Scott was told, instead of offering to get us a smaller unit, he blamed our contractor, insisting that if we had hired competent workers, they would be able to cut a cabinet with full-overlay doors to fit a smaller space. The contractor had to cut the refrigerator panel, and the cabinet looks misaligned. Third, when the dust settled and we looked at the itemized list on our invoice, we realized that this Maryland business charged us Maryland State retail sales tax despite delivery and installation of the product in the Commonwealth of Virginia. When we called the Maryland Department of Taxation, we received confirmation that the charge was illegally made. Complaints via email, phone, certified mail, and via the Better Business Bureau were met with excuses, denials, and refusal to refund our money. Wholesale Cabinet Distributors changed their story several times telling us this charge was 1. a legitimate Maryland retail tax charge, 2. a handling charge, 3. a keying error, and finally 4. a legitimate Virginia retail tax charge. They then told told the BBB in writing that our complaint was a "non-issue" that had been resolved (Case# 36144762.) We are now having to pursue our refund via legal channels. You may have an excellent experience with this company. If you have a problem with Wholesale Cabinet Distributors, however, you can learn from our experience how it will be handled.

Today, the clerk asked first of all whether I had an account there: what, if I don't have a datamining account, I can't shop there? That was the lead-in to the interrogation. Presumably they collect and sell all the personal information. I refused to answer. I suggest that people who resent being sold on the Internet stop shopping at The Mill. There is no reason at all that is good for the customer for them to collect all the information they do. Every time I go in there it's just another unpleasant intrusion. So I'm done with this store.

I researched reviews on all and Eco-Cool was my initial top choice after the research. I called the office to schedule a routine servicing of our system on Friday, I spoke with Amy at the office, she offered several options for services including a simple one time service or an annual program. We were able to schedule a tech to come out on Tuesday morning. Our Tech, Craig, was prompt, courteous, and professional even through the multiple questions I asked. He took a look at our system and the area of concern we had and he gave us the news we were anticipating (that our system is running but might not have much time left in it....it's 26years old) he offered to have quote for replacement drawn up if we wanted. (I did) he left us set up for success and he told us his goal was to keep us running into springtime at least....we appreciated that! After he departed, I called Amy again to arrange payment for today. She was kind and professional and let us know she would have a quote to us by the end of the week and even provided insight to what pricing is doing now and anticipated to be after the new year so we could be able to make the decisions best for our family.
