Woman's beauty and skincare - A retail store interior displaying shelves stocked with skincare, health, and beauty products, with a clean, modern design.

I adore this target. Recently they updated their men and woman's beauty aisles into an open space, and it's just so clean, inviting, and gorgeous to walk through. I was looking for pore strips and needed help because of the new layout. I asked a nearby associate and they helped me in a quick and friendly manner.

Just like any other high class target. Clean, well stocked and unlike the one in Abingdon, it is very busy.

Mike McDowell went above and beyond to ensure perfection and that every detail was to my exact liking. There was an immediate rapport as I explained how the one-of-a-kind coffee table I designed more than forty years ago while attending university in Tallahassee and how I found the planks of cherry wood to use in building it at a small sawmill near Whigham (GA). Although I was able to create the legs, I had no idea how to assemble the design. To my surprise, my father showed up one day at my apartment with the completed table. He was just that kind of guy--part of the Greatest Generation, fought in some the worst parts of the Battle of the Bulge, and went on to serve more than fifty years in public education. People and things have come and gone through the years, but the table remained with me as I traveled across the country and around the world. My most recent move to Bel Air (MD) did not break the table, but at long last, there were enough marks and dents that could justify turning it into kindling. Mr. McDowell intently listened as I explained how the table was not perfectly square. My father also added braces that were not part of the original design. Mr. McDowell assured me the table could be preserved and asked to study it before offering to provide an estimate. I soon heard back from Mr. McDowell with a detailed description of what would be required to restore and also achieve the original design. He never rushed nor did he try to speed through the restoration. He took his time to make sure his work reflected the high quality and precision of his craft. I also received periodic updates from him at each step of the process. The finished restoration is now indeed the work of art that my father and I originally envisioned more than four decades ago. I feel very fortunate to have connected with Mr. McDowell to restore this table, which for me holds a sentimental value. I highly recommend Classic Furniture Works to anyone who wants to restore a fixture they feel is precious and irreplaceable.

From my…read morefirst phone call to the store with an initial inquiry, Kelt was very engaging and truly interested in helping me with a sofa that would meet the specific needs and limitations of my room size and configuration. His experience, product and service knowledge , and customer service are unsurpassed in today's retail world where it is almost nonexsistent. I have already referred one friend to the store (who is very happy with her sofa!) and also another friend and prospective customer. Thank you so much for such unmatched service and attention!

Was given a contract, gave a deposit and said that it would be ready for delivery the second week in February. After two days into that week, I emailed her expecting her to call me to touch base about the order and learned that the sofa had not been done as the fabric I chose was not available. I expected a sales rep to have their management skills to be ahead of any potential problem as my contract is with Sofas Etc. and not Sherrill Furniture who is their agent making the furniture. After some back and forth, I was told that if I came in the store, I could pick out another fabric and was told that they would be "moving me to the head of the line above everyone else to get my softa within the next 6 weeks." While at the store, Karen called and spoke to the agent at Sherrill and learned that they just got the fabric in again and I could get the fabric of my choice. I said to Karen that I felt a little mismanaged in that there was no way I was receiving communication from anyone about the fabric. It was really Sofas Etc. that I had the contract with and obviously, no one was caring to communicate after I left the deposit. The Owner offered placating remarks and with my health compromised, I just wanted to go home and not deal with this kind of treatment. I left the store thinking that it was really coming and would be done in the beginning of April. I emailed Karen right after the beginning of April: "Another deadline missed?" in the subject line of my email and she then emailed me back saying they would look into it. The Owner emailed me exclaiming that they were having problems not getting communications with them. That Karen received messages that the fabric was there and also that it wasn't. I just felt abused and neither Karen nor the owners were taking any responsibility for the process at all. I didn't bother coming back to the store and told them to credit my deposit in full immediately. After all that, the Owner still insisted that perhaps he could offer a heavily discounted price if I would just let them try to get it done again. I just wanted the abuse of the whole process to be done and credit my account immediately. I have to put the onus onto Sofas Etc. as they had the contract with me and they should have been guiding and managing the process including all communications instead of operating from a "reactionary" process.

Do NOT let this company anywhere near your home. Zero stars if possible…read more On December 5th, CTS showed up completely unannounced to "swap" my incorrect sectional that I had been fighting with Value City Furniture (VCF) to replace. Problem is: they didn't even have the replacement couch on the truck. They just took my existing sectional and left. My 12-year-old son was home alone when they arrived, and I had to scramble to get my daughter over there at the last second to supervise. When my daughter called me in a panic saying, "Dad, they just loaded the couch and drove off without leaving anything," I immediately called CTS. I begged them to turn the truck around (it had literally been less than 10 minutes) and at least put my original sectional back until they actually have the correct one. The agent was unbelievably rude and said, "We're not doing that. We're already out of the area." Out of the area in under 10 minutes? Please. I asked to speak to a manager (William). After being on hold for 15+ minutes I was told William had conveniently "just left the building." I asked for William's supervisor and was told he doesn't have one. After pushing, they finally admitted the owner Robert is above him, but of course Robert was also "unavailable" and they flat-out refused to give me any phone number, email, or way to reach either of them. Their final words: "Take it up with VCF." So now my family has zero sectional in our living room until at least December 17th (that's the soonest VCF can get another crew out), right in the middle of the holiday season. My kids have nowhere to sit, we can't have company over, and I'm out a several-thousand-dollar couch that CTS essentially stole in broad daylight. This is beyond poor service; this feels like theft with extra steps. Rude, dishonest, zero accountability, and zero care for the customer. If Value City Furniture or any other retailer tries to schedule Castera Transportation Services (CTS) for your delivery or exchange, demand someone else. I will never buy furniture again if there's even a chance these clowns are involved. Worst delivery experience of my life. Avoid CTS at all costs.
