TJ Maxx has many great finds! This location is always organized and they are super dog friendly!

They never have enough staff up front. Prices are ok. Selection is limited. Customer service could be a lot better.

Went shopping for clothing for my grandchildren, I was very surprised at the selection. The prices were good for the quality of clothing that they carry. Checkout line didn't take too long at all, they had a decent amount of cashiers working considering it was a weekday. The store looked neat, clean and organized. Most TJ maxx stores aren't very nice and tidy and this is another one to add to the list. Even though it's not the tidiest store around they do carry just about every odd and end you could think of. They have everything from a dog bone to a Calvin Klein suitcase! They randomly have clearance sales. I have notice they will have special places or tables that they lay the items marked with the red stickers so you can identify the clearance stuff. They also carry several brand names for a lot cheaper. I have found some NFL jerseys, brand name purses, brand name shoes, and so much more. Depending on your location is normally what types of items they carry! If you want top of the line go to Miami and visit their TJ Maxx, label lovers would die in their store. The employees are pretty hit or miss. Some have been so pleasant and helpful and others act as if they don't want to be there. I do think they seem short staff most of the time which may be the reason some have attitudes but as we all know a smile goes a long way! My recent visit everyone I came in contact were very pleasant and willing to help me when I had questions. read more

Out of all of the TJ Maxx stores I have visited in my lifetime, THIS one deserves a five star rating. I expected to walk into the typical disorganized, crazed, you-know-you-are-shopping-at-a-second-rate-store... store, but it wasn't like that at all! How refreshing it was to walk into a very clean, organized, & inviting TJ Maxx store. My husband & I seriously stopped & looked at each other w/a confused but pleasantly surprised face. I think he even said "why is it so nice in here?". Not only was everything where it was supposed to be, but I ended up purchasing 6 of the 8 items I tried on... 6 out of 8! My husband even found a few brand name t-shirts. We made out like bandits. We spent $100 on 11 clothing items & a Nike water bottle. Say what? Amazing! :) read more

Is it just me or does this place always look like it is going out of business? There is not much inventory and I see three people working. I go there for the Himalayan​ salt. Best prices of anywhere except maybe the mines. read more

A little disorganized at times, although I think that's because people pick through things and fail to put them back in the correct spot. But you can't beat the prices and selection. I mean, Michael Kors purses for $200?! Yes please! I love this place! read more

I'm a bit torn on what rating to give this TJ Maxx store. The TJ Maxx brand itseld is my least favorite of the TJX store chain - I prefer Marshall's and Home Goods much more, and typically find more stuff I like there. And the problem with the TJX stores in general is that they just don't carry a lot of plus size / big and tall clothing. And since I've put back on a lot of weight recently, I need some cheap fat clothes until I can come correct and slim down again. On the other hand, this store is the cleanest and most-organized discount store that I have ever been in. I've been in Kohl's that are in worse shape than this place. This is my hangout spot for when I am out with my family and my mother-in-law needs to go to nearby Jo-Ann Fabrics. And while I never find any clothes I like here, I usually end up buying something. (18 pack of Kaluha Coffee K-Cups for $9. YES!) So I give TJ Maxx in general 3-stars and this particular store 5 stars for overall appearance and cleanliness, making it an overall 4 star rating. read more

Customer service is nonexistent at this store! A coordinator named Janealle gave me such a hard time for following the policy for taking online orders back to the store. She made such an embarrassing scene that the whole front section of the store knew I didn't bring in the plastic bags that the clothes were shipped in. She made me wait at least 10 minutes while she re-tagged everything before processing my return. I literally had to ask her to stop talking and process my return because she had made me wait so long and harassed me so badly. It was all I could do to save some dignity and get out of there. The selection is terrible at this location anyway. After this experience, I definitely won't be coming back! read more

Well went to Tj Maxx looking for shoes. Found a pair I truly like at White Marsh on the clearance rack. When I went,to pay they told me they weren't in clearance "Didn't have a red tags." Could have argued But I didn't. Today I was in TJ Max in Belair. Found 2 pair of the shoes on the Clearance table. Asked for help the girl came over same story " no red dot~not on sales". Why were they on the Clearance table? CUSTOMERS OUT THERE!!YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THE REGULAR PRICE! My question who forgot TO put the red tags. Needless to say Fool me once shame on you! Fool me twice shame on me! WON'T BE SHOPPING AT T.J MAXX ANYMORE. NOT the first time this happened.!!!! read more

Went in here today which was a HUGE upgrade from the one in Towson. I don't know, maybe it's because I finally found stuff today in TJ Maxx that I actually liked...but they just had cuter stuff it seemed then the 2 times I went to the TJ Maxx in Towson. It didn't seem like things were as thrown about and junky and damaged as they can be at the Towson location, atleast in my two experiences there. Things were CHEAP and awesome. Pretty good deals, poor customer service. They don't have men's shoes and kid shoes are limited. The manager seems to be extremely unpleasant. I go in there all the time and she has never smiled at or greeted me. She's constantly storming around the store with a chip on her shoulder. I have come in contact with some pretty rude sales associates as well. I love looking around but hate going in there. read more

This is one of the best TJ Maxx's ever. It doesn't have that grungy, disheveled look or feel (cough, Marshall's at The Festival, cough cough). On the contrary it has glimmering floors and organized merchandise. A wide selection, too. I love buying my husband three or so Ralph Lauren polos every spring. Macy's sells the exact ones for literally double the price. Win! read more

Went to return a product with which I was not satisfied. After quite a few minutes of talking about me and a couple nasty looks, the associate returned from the manager to tell me they would not return the product I bought last week. With so much competition in retail, I find this lack of customer service both surprising and disgusting. Needless to say I will never shop at TJ Maxx again. read more

It's fine to shop here, but working here is another story. This place was my very first job, and though it's been over seven years, I've never forgotten how miserable and insipid every minute of it was. I had to work in a sweaty, disgusting back room with a HUGE volume of work, sorting, folding and hanging clothing by type with a completely needless number of arbitrary rules that no normal human could ever keep track of. My supervisor acted like an overbearing mother and lectured me about things I never did wrong, and the store had special rewards for us if we caught fellow coworkers stealing, creating paranoia and drama like you would not believe. Cashier Yolanda was extremely rude. I was returning a shirt. She interrupted me in mid sentence not allowing me to finish. I asked if she could pull up my purchase from my credit card as I have done at Target and Kohl's, etc when I have forgotten the receipt. she said no. I said "really? I've done it before""...." (This is where she interrupted and said that was impossible because they don't do this at their store) I kept trying to finish my sentence and say "at other stores". Finally, exasperated, i answered "that's fine, whatever" when asked if I wanted store credit. I planned to shop anyway and would just use it at check out. She asked if I wanted to go to another cashier. Perplexed, I said "no, why?". She loudly said "because you are rude and disrespectful " in front of a line of customers. One woman looked at me with shock when she heard this. I have filed a complaint with the manager as well as TJ Maxx. No one should behave this way. She won't last long in this position if she can't handle dealing with customers. Mo one is going to put up with that. read more
