Glory Bees is a Sewing Center that sells an array of sewing machines, beautiful quilt quality…read morefabrics and anything you need for quilting, I,e thread, rulers, scissors, patterns, sewing machines attachments, needles and so much more. They have a listing of classes that you can attend. Also, a day when you can come to sew, and if you need assistance they are there to help. Need your "sandwich" quilted? They do that too on their longarm. They also clean and repair sewing machines with a devoted technician who, does a fabulous job. The owners Gloria and Ron are very dedicated to making their customers a success. The staff who work there are also sewers/quilters and are anxious to help. Love their shop.

If I could leave negative stars I would!…read more DO NOT EVER...AND I MEAN EVER take a sewing machine to Glory Bee's Sewing Shop in Belair! Took my expensive embroidery machine to them during the pandemic when the Husqvarna dealer wasn't open...they lied and told me they were a certified repair place...had my machine for 9 months! When I took it to them it worked...the only thing that was broken was the reverse! Picked it up today because they claim they couldn't get the parts to repair it! Took it to the Husqvarna dealer who tried to test the machine...right in front of me and the machine turns on but the screen is blank and it won't work at all! I called them and I asked what did they do while they had it for 9 months...the first person I spoke with said, "Well it sat for nine months and a lot can happen when a machine sits that long"...lol dumbest thing I have ever heard! When I disagreed she said let me get the owner for you. Soooo...owner with an attitude answers the phone... I ask him to tell me what exactly they did while they had my machine for 9 months because it worked when I brought it in but now it does not...he said he would have to talk to the technician next week. Then He said that possibly the machine shorted out when they opened it which would explain why it doesn't work! If that's a risk...shouldn't you let me know that is a possibility? I could have waited and taken it to Husqvarna when they opened or could have continued using it only wouldn't be able to back stitch. Then when I told him I wanted my money back he started YELLING at me saying I brought them a defective machine and now I m trying to blame them for it not working! Then he (still yelling) told me people claim this all the time, lady! "Do you really want to go there, let's go there!" I wonder why they claim this? -- that you break their machines...CAUSE YOU DO BREAK THEIR MACHINES! I have spent ALOT of money in that store... but I WILL NEVER STEP IN THERE AGAIN! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Then I posted a review on their Facebook page and they replied...in the middle of reading the reply which was extremely offensive it disappeared...they have blocked me from their response!

I haven't been to this Macy's in over 20 yrs and I won't go back for another 20. I love to shop at…read moreMacy's but this location is a dump and is in desperate need of a major overhaul. The place is so dirty and gross, hardly any merchandise in the whole store. What merchandise they have appears to be cheap clothing styles from 3 or more yrs ago, everything is dated, the jewelry cases were almost bare. The sales people if you could find one were just miserable. I went into a ladies dressing room and it was so disgusting I couldn't even begin to think about trying on cloths. Drive to DE or Towson and don't waste your time in this place.

It turned out to be a very discouraging process -- the local selection every place we looked was either bland beyond belief (all whites, beiges and greys), poor quality (cheap synthetic fabrics that looked like they'd last about a year, max), both, or else wildly, insanely expensive -- I know prices have gone up, but I've owned lots of cars that cost less than what a nice-ish couch costs at some places. And, every place we looked had a 4-10 week wait, which is absurd for bland, "off the rack" furniture. In desperation we wound up at Macy's, and WOW I'm so glad we did. They actually had lots of choices! Much of it in stock! At a decent price! In colors other than white, grey, and beige! We wound up with a quality leather set for less than we'd have paid in one of the big furniture stores for synthetic fabric. They delivered it in a little over a week, and the delivery could not have gone better. If we need more furniture, this will be our first stop.

I took a cuckoo clock here to get an estimate for repair. The clock worked but would occasionally…read morestop running so it likely just needed to be oiled or adjusted. An older gentleman took the clock and told me to come back in twenty minutes. Exactly twenty minutes later I went back to the store and I asked him what the story was. He took one look at me and the expensive handbag I carry and said "$450." I was shocked. I asked him what was wrong with the clock. He was unable to provide me with an explanation other than "the guts need to be replaced." This is not an antique clock that is a 100 years old. It is a German Hubert Herr clock that was purchased brand new, eight years ago. Anyone that works on clocks that knows what they are doing will be skilled in taking the clock apart and only replacing what is necessary. Because the clock was running and he failed to provide me with any sort of explanation as to what was wrong and why the price was $450, I felt he assessed me as a person who has unlimited means and therefore was likely to pay the $450 without further scrutiny. The clock cost $400 eight years ago, brand new, when I purchased it. For what he wanted to charge me I could purchase a brand new clock from Hubert Herr in Germany! Upon taking the clock back home, I did not see any signs of the dust on the clock top being very disturbed from handling and examination. I question whether this man even opened up the clock at all! He also did not remove the weights from the bags I had put them in, which tells me he did not hang up the clock and test it, either. The bottom line is that I felt this person saw this as an opportunity to take advantage of a woman and there is no way I would take anything to this business for repair!
