We had several problems working with Scott Loewenstein at Wholesale Cabinet Distributors. First, he…read moredid not want to drive to Virginia to deliver the cabinets, so we paid more to have them sent directly from the manufacturer. We live on a narrow street that is lined with public parking, and the cabinets arrived in a truck that was too large to fit down the street. I called Scott and asked him what he was going to do, and he told me he didn't know, it had never happened before. I was left to work out delivery options with the frustrated truck driver instead of with my salesperson, and delivery was delayed, thus delaying installation. Second, there were issues with the measurements. Scott's design included a corner cabinet that didn't fit through the kitchen door, even though he had the measurement of that opening. The contractor had to cut the cabinet to get it into the room, thus invalidating our warranty. The cabinet over the refrigerator also did not fit, it was too large for the space. When Scott was told, instead of offering to get us a smaller unit, he blamed our contractor, insisting that if we had hired competent workers, they would be able to cut a cabinet with full-overlay doors to fit a smaller space. The contractor had to cut the refrigerator panel, and the cabinet looks misaligned. Third, when the dust settled and we looked at the itemized list on our invoice, we realized that this Maryland business charged us Maryland State retail sales tax despite delivery and installation of the product in the Commonwealth of Virginia. When we called the Maryland Department of Taxation, we received confirmation that the charge was illegally made. Complaints via email, phone, certified mail, and via the Better Business Bureau were met with excuses, denials, and refusal to refund our money. Wholesale Cabinet Distributors changed their story several times telling us this charge was 1. a legitimate Maryland retail tax charge, 2. a handling charge, 3. a keying error, and finally 4. a legitimate Virginia retail tax charge. They then told told the BBB in writing that our complaint was a "non-issue" that had been resolved (Case# 36144762.) We are now having to pursue our refund via legal channels. You may have an excellent experience with this company. If you have a problem with Wholesale Cabinet Distributors, however, you can learn from our experience how it will be handled.

They worked with us to match our granite and tile to the right color vanity. They even let us take the big door samples home to ensure we chose the right color and finish. Excellent company and we highly recommend them!

My experience this evening at the Redner's location in Joppa, MD was extremely disappointing…read more First, I found it inappropriate for management to address an employee in front of a customer. Any corrective conversation should be handled privately and respectfully. When I later expressed my concern regarding this behavior to the Store Director, Vikki Eiswert, I was told to leave the store after stating that I felt her approach toward the employee was rude. Rather than engaging in a professional discussion, she stated she would not argue, removed items from my hands, and proceeded to contact law enforcement. At no point was I aggressive or causing a disturbance; the only issue was that I voiced my concern about her conduct. I will not be shopping at this location again, and I intend to ensure that this experience is brought to the attention of the appropriate parties. No one--whether a manager or a store associate--should be spoken to in a belittling or disrespectful manner. The employee involved was not at fault, and being in a leadership position does not justify speaking to employees in an unprofessional way. While being asked to leave the store is not my primary concern, I will continue to share my experience until it reaches the appropriate level of review.

In terms of paper plates , cups and forks were extra affordable. There have a nice variety of things that once can buy including having a deli, seafood department , bakery and food area. I'll definitely be stopping by Redner's more often
