Gluten free happy birthday cake on short notice
Matthew C.

Just had an awesome experience with Jackson today n the bakery. At the last minute we needed a gluten free birthday cake. He was super friendly and helpful. He walked me to where they had a couple options. He then partnered with his team to get them personalized in minutes. This store and team were great.

They carry Burton Farm milk! For a $2 bottle deposit, take home the returnable glass jug. Returnable at customer service when open

Nice layout, clean but the service is quite slow. We were visiting from out of state and needed to stock up on bottled water. This is all we took to the self checkout. We did not have a customer card so we tried to get the attention of a cashier supervisor. Once we finally did find her, she scanned her card and walked away with a huff leaving the second out of state customer in our group even though we did ask her to please scan the card for her purchase, too. The customer went to the express instead of waiting for the supervisor to return and was helped much more cheerily and promptly. We all bought lottery tickets at a convenience store rather than wait in a 7 person pile up at the customer services counter.

It's an older Giant bird I'm spoiled by the new market districts. The salad bar looked good but o decided to get the hot deli meal. I like there fried chicken but it looked really dry. I had the rib meal and it was really good. 3 ribs,Mac an cheese, corn bread and a drink for $6.99. The produce and bakery items looked really good.

I'd be afraid to cut into these for fear of what was inside.

Cute little giant convenient store on Murray Avenue called Giant Eagle. I stayed at an Airbnb in…read moreSquirrel Hill and needed some bottled water. I walked here not knowing what time it closes. I asked the security guard. Oh shoot. I got 5 minutes to shop. The store has a logical layout. I found what I wanted in a minute and rushed to check out. The cashier saw me as I was new to the area. He offered his loyalty card for my water. Nice guy. I got it at a discount. But somehow, I got charged for 10 cents more. I swore I hit I got my own bag. Oh well. Time was running out. I could care less about that dime.

Nice deli, a bakery (which is actually an inexpensive spot to get stuff like Danish) and all the aisles for getting in your steps on a crappy Winter (or hot Summer) day. Really I like Giant Eagle, I just avoid the fruit & veg (expensive) and bread (Schwebels Italiano for $4.75!?!) aisles. Not even worth walking down them. Just stick with sale items, items you get cheap because of the Giant Eagle card, and the meat dept. but only for sale and items getting marked down because the sell by date is getting close. The employees are always friendly, and helpful. The store is well stocked, except for Asian food items which is pretty crappy. Two kinds of soy sauce? Seriously? Overall, this Giant Eagle gets four of five stars. Oh, and a s###-ton of different brands and flavors of ice cream. I do like that.

Visited this little shop today for the first time! Normally I like to go to the strip district for…read moreall my Korean food and noodle needs, but today I switched it up! Really good variety of things. Not overwhelming. Clean and organized and the owner is very kind and sweet Found a ton of great instant noodles & ramen-Buldak brand, Shin Ramen, the sorts. Got some sauces and restocked on a couple of seasonings like furikake and seaweed for my poke bowls and sushi. The best gem however, that this place carries, I have not been able to find anywhere else- is fish cakes!! Maybe it's just me but I can never find that pink and white swirl goodness anywhere! and I found it here! no swirl but perfect fish cakes like the kind they use at Ramen Bar! Yum. Can't wait for my next trip
