Opted for a place close by on the way to a movie at the Monroeville Mall…read more This restaurant is in the Double Tree Hotel. It's a nice enough setting, though we appeared to be the sole diners at 5:30pm on a Wednesday evening. The menu consists of mainly small bites (appetizers/tapas) and some entrees. We elected to go with the small bites to share and ordered the hummus, bruschetta, and shrimp. All were tasty and quite enough to fill us, though I will ask the inevitable question that I see happen at restaurant after restaurant -- why, oh why, do you INSIST upon setting out a disproportionate number of xxx (in this case shrimp) for your guests? I swear I think you do this on purpose for the pleasure of seeing your guests fight over the remaining xxx (again, shrimp in this example)... Sigh... it just seems unnecessary. The shrimp came 3 to an order for 2 of us... Do you not see an issue here? They were tasty. Whatev. I give up. Final words -- food was pleasantly arranged on the plate, our server was pleasant and engaging, and all was good.

The hours are also wrong on the website, said the restaurant was open till 10, we got there and the sign said kitchen closes at 9- on a Saturday! Quantity and portion sizes not mentioned on the menu, so you have no idea what you're getting into. Service was good, so that's a plus.

Spacious parking lot with plenty of room for large groups of guests. We've been here many times over the years including our dons baby shower with a private room for large parties, as well as a nice sized dining room. Our go to app is the Stuffed Banana Peppers with fresh bread, yum! Their Bruschetta is also fresh and tasty. Everything we've had there was delicious! Our favorite dishes include, Veal, Chicken, or Eggplant Parm. Also the Chicken Anthony or Veal Anthony are house specialties. Also I can't forget their seafood selections that include an oven baked Icelandic Cod, fried Shrimp Scampi and Grilled Salmon. ALL DELICIOUS!! Service is always spot on and their prices are very reasonable. Great catering menu! A clean and intimate dining experience. Highly recommended! CHEERS!!

It was very busy in there but it didn't feel too crowded and the waitresses handled the guests like pros, I was impressed! It's an older vibe on the inside but in a cozy way! I got the meatball parm which was fine, but the chicken parm looked amazing, I had major FOMO when I saw how many chicken parm's were coming out of the kitchen - now I know what to get next time! My friend I went with got the chicken Romano and he enjoyed it. I really liked my wedding soup and you get white delicious Italian bread at the table! People always forget about this place but they definitely shouldn't! They have trivia nights as well if you're interested in that.

Maybe not that big a deal, but a lot of the Pour Tour locations don't have their own parking so this' is a big plus. I love the atmosphere inside. Rustic, but with some modern flair. A bit dark, but also light enough to see what you need to see. There are a variety of seating options including standard tables, high tops and seating at the bar. I chose to sit at the bar since I was there on my own. My server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She shared information about the winery and some of the most popular wine and food items. After sampling several, I settled on a glass of the playhouse red blend and one of their specials - a grilled cheese and tomato bisque. The soup was creamy and delicious and the grilled cheese comfort food perfection. Food came out fairly quickly and my server was attentive to my needs without being pushy. I really enjoyed my experience here and will definitely be back, hopefully for one of their events or maybe a visit in their fun looking igloos.

From the moment we walked in, I loved the ambience. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming and made us feel right at home. During our visit, I learned that it is a family owned restaurant, which made me appreciate it even more. They also have a sports bar right next door, which I thought was a nice addition. The food did not disappoint. I even had to ask if the family was from Italy because everything tasted so authentic. They told me they were not, but honestly I never would have guessed! The pizza was amazing. I am a huge fan of brick oven style pizza and this definitely hit the spot. The pasta was incredible, the steak was cooked exactly how I ordered it, and the wine paired perfectly with the meal. One of my good friends and I came here together, and I am so happy we decided to try it. It turned into one of those meals you keep thinking about long after you leave. Every time I am back in Pittsburgh, this will absolutely be one of the restaurants I make a point to visit. Thank you for such a memorable experience.
