I can see this place being really loved by people with gluten-free diets! I mean it's right up their alley. However, me not really caring about gluten-free but an avid beer lover I was slightly disappointed. Located in central seattle, it's not too far from downtown. The ambiance is chill, relaxed, love the open space, and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I got the flight which included 4 beer of your choice. I got the coppe, blonde, nut brown, and wit. Of all, I enjoyed coppe the best, it had a nice citrusy note. It seems like they raise their price from $7 to $10 now, which is still a good deal in my book. Most of the choices I've tried had a barley or wheat undertaste which I wasn't really used to. I'm not a connoisseur of beers neither do I live a gluten free lifestyle, but for someone who do love beers I felt like it was missing something, felt a little flat almost. Nonetheless, if you're accommodating for someone who's on a strict gluten free diet or lives a lifestyle of gluten free, I really suggest this place. I was just diagnosed with celiac disease, and is is a tiresome parade of self restriction and worry about accidentally eating foods that will kill me. By contrast, I could eat and drink everything here! Pure heaven!! And the beers were so delicious we bought some to take home. I was delighted to discover this place, because since my Celiac diagnosis I have missed beer like a missing tooth. The fresh hop IPA was, well, a standard fresh hop IPA, with no odd flavor or lack of body like in so many GF beers. Delicious. The Son of Covfefe white IPA was worth trying just for the name, but was delightful (seemed more grapefruity than the Grapefruit IPA, oddly). The lavender shandy was delicious and refreshing. Get a Movember tasting flight, it is a good deal for a good cause. The fish and chips was in the top five I have ever had, even without the "GF" disclaimer. Great crispy batter that did not get in the way of the fish. My spouse was thrilled to see steak tartare on a menu. The servers were prompt, charming, and knowledgeable. They won't let me deduct half a star for being out of creme brulee, so I guess you get all five. Also this t-shirt is very comfortable. read more

The server was very strange. He came over, gave us a pitcher of water, but no glasses. He didn't come back to get our drink orders for around 10 minutes, and was like "Oh, I didn't realize that I hadn't given you glasses for water" in a flat tone that was not apologetic. I ordered a beer flight. When he came to deliver it, I knew just by looking at the colors of the beers that it wasn't what I ordered. So I asked if it was flight #2 with a skeptical look on my face, and he was like... "Yep." When the bill came, it did have flight #2 listed on the receipt, so it was a miscommunication with the bartender I guess. All I know is there was a sour in my malty beer flight, and I didn't have the energy to keep pursing the issue to correct. *Shrugs* For the food, the pork belly mac & cheese is not mac & cheese. It is penne pasta with corn and pork belly with a light cheese sauce. The actual pork belly was pretty good, but overall, the dish was not what I was expecting or as advertised. We ordered the potato skin nachos, which sounds exciting, and they were fine, but nothing I'd order again. Halfway through our meal the server came over and tried to give us someone else's food. I also saw him give someone the wrong drink. The server left the drink on the guy's table, walked away, came back 5 minutes later, took the drink, then served it to someone else at another table. The food was very mediocre. Our server was a mess and didn't seem to care. There were other people working there, who seemed fine, so not sure the service is a global issue here. My wife and I stopped here at the beginning of our honeymoon in Seattle and enjoyed a couple of beers and the Truffle Fries (which were all delicious!) and we had a nice conversation with the bartender whom we told that we were honeymooning. My wife has Celiac disease so she really loved the chance to try a Gluten Free beer on draft. We liked Ghostfish so much that we decided to return at the end of the week and they even remembered us! They were kind enough to give us a free bottle of their Tart Saison and a Swag Bag as congratulations and were extremely pleasant to chat with. Loved this place and the staff were top notch! Oh, and as a craft beer nerd I have to say that their quality of beer was on par with any other glutinous beer. Amazing food with an amazing mission! I find it difficult to find gluten free food when my friends want to go out. Especially when I'm so hungry! I had a burger and it was just what I needed! I was able to hang out with friends, they drank (I didn't) and we ate and talked for hours! Felt normal without having to be hungry because there are no gluten free options. Service was great too! I ordered the Steak Salad and Son of Covfeffe White IPA. I love that everything is gluten free and the service was quick and friendly. Only downside might be price for food, but the quality is worth it and is to be expected for this area. I will definitely be back for more steak salads and beers. read more

This place was overall horrible! The service was terrible. They were not very interested on how your experience is and not very happy to be there. Most of all the food and beer should be negative stars!! The steak tar tar was ok but the pork belly mac n cheese was dry and the pork belly wasn't anything to write home about. I had the steak sandwich I could have made at home. The French fries that came with it were literally frozen bagged French fries that were soggy as hell! The beer was sooooo bad!!! Gluten free fish and chips. I had a craving, and found Ghostfish online. Their menu was easy to check out online before visiting, and their covid precautions were clearly spelled out there too, so we knew what to expect, and felt comfortable dining in. My partner was excited because he had read about them, and their beer, but hadn't tried them yet, and somehow hadn't realized they were all gluten free. I loved the fish and chips. The batter/breading was just right for me, good texture, not too thick, and held together well, and still tasted good by the time I got to the last piece of fish. The tartar sauce was very tasty, and there was enough for all three pieces. The fries were better than expected too, skins on variety, and made me wonder if they actually might make them in house? Also tasted like they keep their oil fresh for frying (compared to some places that let it go too long before changing), this was confirmed because I didn't regret eating fried food the next day either (lol! tmi? idgaf.) Coleslaw was good enough to finish, although I normally like a little more dressing. I also had the ginger beer w/tangerine and shiso, and it had nice balance of good flavor, light scent, and not overwhelmingly gingery. My partner had tacos, and enjoyed the chicken, pork, and fish ones very much; good flavor on all, and he definitely enjoyed the spice level of the pork. Sadly the vegetarian taco option was too oily, kale/sweet potato, and didn't have very much filling, unlike the others. He loved his dark beer so much that he got a crowler to go (like a growler except it's a can that can be recycled instead of bringing back). Friendly, fast service. Seating options carefully spread out for covid safety, and good modern ventilation system. Decent enough music playing, and not too loud so we could talk. I stopped in here with a friend before another event and it was pretty easy to get a seat, although it was definitely filling up in preparation for their 6:30 trivia (which seemed fun!). The atmosphere seemed pretty chill and fun overall. I'm going to preface this with the fact that I'm not gluten free, nor do I regularly eat gluten free food. I can't compare anything here to other g-free stuff. What I will say - the food was decent, but nothing overly amazing. I ordered the goat cheese gnocchi but unfortunately didn't really taste much goat cheese. It was enjoyable, although it was a smaller plate than I expected (it was listed under "full plates" on the menu). My friend had the pork belly mac & cheese; I tried a bite and it was okay. It wasn't super flavorful to me, yet somehow kind of spicy? If definitely choose my order over hers. We were stoked heading to this brewery in Georgetown, but were a little disappointed upon entering. It doesn't have the typical brewery feel, it definitely has more of a restaurant vibe. Not necessarily a bad thing, but not what we were expecting nor in the mood for. Everything is gluten free, which is fabulous, but the food didn't "wow" us. It was good, not great. I had my doubts when I heard that this place served gluten free beer, but wow, it was good! We came on a rainy Tuesday and it still filled up! You can reserve tables (which we didn't do) but we were able to move to a larger table during the evening. I ordered the nachos, expecting chips, but they were on potatoes! They were so delicious. Gluten free beer flights are worth a trip if you're celiac and missing beer. I found one or two beers I enjoyed, and a few I didn't. The fish and chips was excellent. The poke was really outstanding. The burger was solid. The jalapeño relleno and spud nachos were just okay, a bit light on flavor. It's pricey--not great value. Came for the beer, was blown away by the service and the food! I'm celiac and have only been to one other dedicated gluten-free brewery (the amazing Holidaily), and had a great time at Ghostfish. I was surprised at how big it was and how many different beers they have! This is not some hole-in-the-wall, we make a niche product and 3 people come by, kind of brewery. This is on par with Skagit or Boundary Bay as far as atmosphere and options (though newer/shinier). It was nice and busy, couple of dogs even. I got a flight so I could try a few different beers, and my server told me a bit about each one. Later he even came by with a couple of tasters of some other beers he thought I would like after we talked more. I managed to come by during happy hour and a SoDo pub crawl, so they also brought me a free appetizer (the relleno, which was a big enough app to share). I ordered the fish 'n chips since that's so rare to find gluten-free, it was delicious, I inhaled it. The food is so good you could bring anyone here and not tell them it's gluten-free and they'd love it and never know. I was there for a couple of hours just so happy to have all this amazing gf beer and food and they had 90s music playing and I was in heaven. Cannot wait to come back! Next time I'm going to pack lighter so I can drag some cans home to Colorado with me. read more

I can't say enough about how much I love this place! Everything is gluten free. I've come for brunch & lunch. The place is casual seat yourself with tables spread out pretty far from each other which feels safe for avoiding viruses. You order from your smartphone & can have everyone get separate bills. For brunch I had the eggs, bacon, pancakes, & hashbrowns with toast. Everything was delicious & of course we had to get cinnamon rolls to go. Those were huge & amazing! Brunch is only on Sundays so make sure you go. When we had lunch we got wings to share, fish tacos, & caeser salads with gf croutons. Those salads were huge, not side salad size so I'm glad we shared wings. Everything was amazing! My sister got a beer (also gluten free) & loved it so she got a 6 pack to go. The staff are super helpful & the food is delivered pretty quickly. If you or a loved one have celiac you've got to try this place. read more

The only way I could love this place more is if they were located near me in Iowa! I've got a gluten sensitivity (plus other food sensitivities) and this place is great, you don't have to feel "special needs" asking for a gluten free menu and order like a regular person (life changing!) I had no idea this restaurant was gluten-free when we went in to grab lunch this past Saturday. I ordered a beer, and it was only after reading about a delicious sounding brat and then flipping to the front of the menu that I realized that this was a gluten-free establishment. However, everything was great tasting, both brat and beer. Obviously, there are slight differences between gluten-free bread or beer and their "normal" equivalents, but these are just as good tasting.
