Extremely poor customer service skills. Specifically rob the tattoo artist. Very rude.

not to be that guy but this is the first tattoo i regret getting out of my now 7 tattoos. i assumed the experienced looking tattoo artist would do good and i trusted them as you do with any other tattoo artist but jesus christ this tattoo is so inaccurate it makes me cry. if i wasnt a blind fucking bat i wouldve refused the 100 DOLLAR CHARGE INCLUDING TIP but no amount of money is worth this shit, its actually embarrassing how disproportionate and inaccurate this easy little drawing is but whatever. id rather pay rose tattoo clubs scammy prices with decent art than this, just a 10/10 scam read more

I got inspired to get a tattoo on the weekend and decided I would pop in to see if they could accommodate a walk-in a couple hours before closing time. I'd like walked by Ghost Town plenty of time while strolling around Savannah and on a whim decided to try the shop. As I walked in I was greeted warmly, and announced that I wanted to try and get a tattoo if they had availability. Gabriel immediately engaged and asked what I was looking to get done. I showed him the design I wanted and he said no problem. Throughout the session he was very friendly and engaging and we chatted while he worked. Super cool dude with a cool life story. I let him work and at the end of the session I was totally happy with the piece. The shop has a rad aesthetic and they were playing good music. Overall I had a great experience with Gabriel, and I really appreciated the friendly and accommodating service. It's exactly the kind of experience I want to have while getting a tattoo. Thanks again Gabriel read more

We went over talked to a nice lady who got our info and Derrick did our tattoos. My wife was very nervous after talking with Derrick while he prepped she calmed down. They did a great job. read more

Set a consult appointment for 2 PM today. Waiting to do the consult. Showed the artist what I wanted and said when she was available she would call, wasn't sure what time though. I was promptly dismissed after that. I was told I didn't have an appointment which when booking the consult was told if the artist could do the tattoo it would be done right after with an appointment. I asked if I needed to pay deposit when booking the consult and was advised no. I guess I didn't fit their narrative as someone who had tattoos. I guess this business can afford to dismiss paying customers. I've had a pretty good trip with friends until this rotten experience. I say make sure the same people who are booking your consult are in the store the day of your consult. It's unfortunate staff are not on the same page when it comes to what they tell people.I would recommend picking a different place. Not happy and pick a place that has definite appointment and tattoo artist available. read more

Walked in-- very spur of the moment. Had a great experience! Trisha was awesome and did a great job on our small, detailed tattoo! I don't understand the negative reviews. The staff was ALL super nice and care about the longevity and quality of their work. The facility was clean. The vibe was cool. 10/10 would recommended. Ask for Trisha if you have something small and detailed in mind! read more

Rude staff member for just inquiring about piercings. I don't understand why hospitality is hard

We love Ghost Town, specifically Brian! We come back every year. Great, clean shop

My husband are visiting Savannah and decided to stop in to see if I could get a small tattoo. We walked in, nobody talked to us, dismissed us almost immediately and looked at us like we didn't belong there. I'm not a tattoo virgin and have several exposed tattoos, including an incredible 3/4 sleeve, and my husband has several, including a forearm tattoo that he got last Friday in our hometown. Maybe I'm spoiled since my artist back home is bomb or maybe the customer service in this joint is horrible. I was planning g to spend some money and it didn't appear that they cared that a couple hundred or more walked right out the door. read more

I went in and they were super nice to me! And really helpful. The line work is amazing I love my tattoo!

I decided to get a super tiny tattoo on my vacation to Savannah and landed on Ghost Town. I walked in to put my name on the walk in waiting list and got called back 2ish hours later. Let me give the positives of this place first. Ghost Town is super legit and clean. My tattoo artist knows what he was doing and did not disappoint on my tattoo. I didn't feel like I was at some skeezy tattoo joint either as you could tell these people cared. On the other side, the customer service/interaction was super dry between the one employee and artist I talked to. Definitely not a personable crowd which is sad because conversation goes a long way especially for an out of towner. Also a heads up to anyone coming in, if you're getting a super small tattoo they have a tattoo minimum of $80 which I had no idea about prior to getting mine on my body already. Could be my fault but I'm not too upset as the place was pretty good and results were great. read more

I'm sure they are a great tattoo studio.. but as someone who has many, it was unfortunate to hear that they didn't want to tattoo my hands because they couldn't stand behind the "longevity" of it... On vacation in Savannah and decided to stop by on a whim. Enjoyed the other customers and watching them get tattooed. Manager was helpful and friendly. Mars did small tattoos on two of our party and did fantastic work. One was just an idea and the other from a photo we brought. Both turned our even better than expected! I have been coming here for three years. I've been stationed in Cali and I'm originally from DC. I've gotten tattoos from both those places and many others to include North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. I have 13 tattoos and the majority were by artists at Ghost Town. When I say this place is amazing, I mean it. Each artist is incredible and brings their own talent to the table. Every time I come, I feel welcomed and comfortable. I can say without any reservation that I have never had a bad experience with any of the artists that have given me a tattoo. I recommend checking out their Instagram pages instead of yelp because most of the reviews on here are incredibly cynical and to be blunt, the artists there will treat you with respect if you treat them and their job with respect. read more

Unprofessional people. Can't keep an appointment time and can't talk to the customer when they are standing right in front of you... Just keep playing on your phone read more

Well, we called the shop to ask if they were accepting walk ins, the shop said yes. Hours of operations - open until 8pm. we arrived at 645pm placed our name on the sheet, waited for 2 people ahead of us with very small tattos to be completed. By 7pm - both tattoo artists had completed their tattoos. They informed us that the artists were not looking to start something new tonight.....this was at 7pm!!!!! The shop CLOSES at 8pm!!!! I completely felt discriminated against because I didn't fit the tattoo "mold" of a client. I believe that this shop doesn't recognize that judging people based on their style / appearance is just bad buiness. SPEND your $$$$ elsewhere!! read more

I'm very disappointed with this place, the artist's work looks so amazing but the blond woman working the front desk is very rude! I tried making a walk in appointment as soon as they opened and she was rude as soon as I walked in. Also, they didn't even call for a follow up when I asked them several times to let me know. Very unprofessional in my opinion and I would advise that you consider one of the many other great tattoo shops in the area! It's very sad that a front desk lady takes away from such great artists. read more

Awesome shop with great artists. I've had a few different styles done and Brian is always able to take the idea in my head and turn it into something beautiful on paper. The shop is always really clean and the guys are really helpful from the door through the process. Highly recommend every time someone stops to compliment the work. Work in the pictures done by Brian. read more

My wife and I walked into this shop over the weekend on a whim. We decided to do something special to commemorate our 7th anniversary but really had no idea what to get. Then we met Marshall. Came here for a bachelorette tattoo. They were judgey and made fun of us for our choice in tattoo. We came here because we heard it was the best in town and we're treated like we were dumb for what we wanted. I get that it wasn't their favorite thing to tat but be respectful of the people who spend their hard earned money to have you tattoo them for ever. Super disappointed in the service and I'm not recovering the proper post tattoo care. DO NOT GO HERE. They are no here to guide you peacefully through the process. read more

This place is insanely expensive! What a rip off!! I went in there simply to have a nose piercing removed for surgery and she charge me $20! In addition to the fact that I bought a plug for $10 so the removal wasn't even free!! Plus they didn't have anyway to pay other than cash so I had to take money out of the ATM which cost me $2.75!!!! read more

Thank you Jason Ryan, the 25 matching ink for my wife and I turned out effing awesome.

My poor review isn't reflective of the talent in the tattoo artist, but in the management and customer service of this establishment.

I recommend this shop to anyone who asks. Very talented artist. Brian did an awesome job on my cover up. Also a great atmosphere.

Corey is a great artist, very fast and nice clean, straight lines. Very chill environment. I would recommend to anyone.

We were on town and I wanted to get a tattoo. I have a few already so I know the drill. When we walked up, four tattooers were outside. Not one spoke-no "hey. How ya doing." "Go on in. One of us will be right in to help you." So we went inside and a woman walked in and said the basic if you have questions let me know. There was no enthusiasm or anything. She didn't even smile. We sat there for several minutes while their one customer waited for her guy to set up (it wouldn't have taken him as long if he wasn't shi**ing around outside). During the time that we waited, every employee (about 5) walked in and out of the shop several times (and directly by us) and again not one even spoke. Talk about an unfriendly group and negative vibes. It was quite apparent they didn't give a flip if they made any money or gave us a tattoo. My money is good anywhere and needless to say, we got up and left. I did get my tattoo......elsewhere. read more

While the tattoo turned out very well I found the artist rude and pushy. He acted like it was a big hassle for me to be there and didn't take me seriously as a costumer. The art was well done and done in a timely efficient manner but i did not feel welcome or appreciated. read more

This place had so many wonderful reviews so we decided to go here. Mistake. They were so rude. I couldn't even believe it. If I am paying you money for a service (and I have a choice) you not only have to be talented but also semi friendly. We walked right out. read more

I got my FIRST tattoo done here in 2016. I showed Chase what I wanted on an internet pic and added a little to it. He said it was going to be no problem. He sketched it out on paper, showed me and put it on my wrist. The lines were thicker than I wanted, the piano keys weren't exactly even and 10 months later some of the ink didn't hold so it's very light and spacey. I wish my first tattoo experience had been better. I'll def research better next time. read more
