What a great time! My parents and I have been coming to St Augustine for around twenty five years, doing different ghost tours almost every year. This tour is our new favorite. We got lucky, we were the only ones who booked the Shadow Ride tour so we got to have a great private ghost tour experience with Guide Veronica. She took us to parts of St Augustine city that we haven't been before and gave us great stories and historical anecdotes about many buildings and residences. This was our first ghost tour ever and we didn't know what to expect; but, it was amazing! We choose to do a Semi-Private tour. Our tour guide was Coco and she did a great job. We brought three kids, ages 10, 11, and 12. Coco was very patient with the kids and took the time to answer all their questions and allow them to have discussions to learn about the history of St. Augustine. We really enjoyed how interactive this tour was. They provided all kinds of devices to help communicate with ghosts. We really had a great time. Coco told us the history behind all of the places she took us to to ghost hunt. My youngest son had to hold my hand on the walk back to the hotel because he was so scared! 10/10 recommend this tour for anyone who wants history mixed with an interactive experience. read more

Such an amazing experience! Although I'm not much of a believer of the supernatural kind of thing, Veronika did an amazing job, made the tour so interesting and exciting, and the knowledge and the history behind the city was great to hear, she really knows her information. I did the Everdark Express tour, stopped by a deserted cemetery, went inside of the house (which was by far my favorite part of the tour), and then stopped by a park close to the lighthouse. Not sure I "saw" or "encountered" anything, but one thing that I cannot explain definitely happened in the house which made me freaked out. All in all, amazing tour, Veronika you're amazing, would definitely recommend if you're visiting the St. Augustine area!! read more

Our tour visited a cemetery, the Dixie house and the park at the lighthouse. For me the best part was the cemetery. It was spooky and dark, yes, but as far as paranormal stuff....nothing unusual happened. I liked that part of the tour because I like hearing the history of the area and the life stories of those buried there. Our guide Veronica was great and very knowledgeable when it came to the area. Dixie house , for me, was boring although I did have some funky stuff happen with the dividing rods when I held them. She was super knowledgeable of all the locations she brought us to and very sweet and personable. Coco was our tour guide for the Everdark Express. She was also super knowledgeable about the locations and ghost hunting. She also ensured we stayed safe and nothing followed us home. Unfortunately it was a slow night when it came to ghost encounters, but that cannot be controlled. We still had fun and learned a lot! read more

We also got to chat briefly with Big Tom using the Estes Method. Brent was a great guide and taught us all we needed to know about using the equipment as well as the history of the land the house sits on. What a great time we had! Yeah, it was a little chilly but Kassie's enthusiasm warmed us right up. Kassie drove the Shadow Shuttle and luckily, we were her only fare on the early 7:30PM tour. If we were staying in St. Augustine longer, we'd do another trip with her. Kassie was just wonderful and very knowledgeable about the history of the historic area. She was a wealth of information and very fun, personable, and had a great sense of humor. I'm neutral on the whole ghost thing but whether the stories are real or not, I've found macabre history tours to be a fun way to see a town and see places I wouldn't think to give more attention to. Ghost Augustine fits the bill. The tour groups for the walks are small so you don't have to worry too much about spending more time with your guide playing shepherd to members of the tour and you can form up and easily hear the guide. Wiley in particular is a straight shooter who doesn't over sensationalize the event but his easy going demeanor is disarming and makes everything feel just a bit more believable. He didn't go for the cheap scares, just let the locations and events speak for themselves. The pace was good too, we didn't dwell anywhere too long but we also didn't beat down my elderly but not too out of shape parents. read more

I'm one of the hosts of True Creeps podcast and I simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to rave about Ghost Augustine--especially Troy & Thomas! After visiting the Ghost Augustine store and having a fantastic conversation with Troy, we decided to book an investigation at Dixie House. Troy was incredibly knowledgeable, patiently walking us through how to use the new equipment we purchased. He also shared fascinating stories and photos from his own investigations. If you're looking for an authentic paranormal investigation with active entities, Dixie House is absolutely for you. Thomas was an absolute treasure to investigate with! He shared the history of the area and the house itself, provided thorough tutorials on the equipment, and introduced us to the spirits who reside there--whom he affectionately refers to as his "co-workers." It was clear how much he cares about them and their stories. From the moment we started, we experienced activity in almost every room. There was barely a dull moment the entire night! We had dozens of experiences, but my favorite was getting to know Tommy, the spirit of a little boy who resides in a teddy bear. Normally, I steer clear of haunted objects (seriously, I have a no-haunted-dolls contract with my husband!), but I felt inexplicably drawn to Tommy's bear and ended up carrying it with me for most of the night. We were able to communicate with Tommy using the Polterscripts and Portal Box. I will definitely be returning to Dixie House--not only for another investigation but also to visit my new friend, Tommy! I cannot recommend this experience enough! read more

I went on a Haunted St. Augustine tour with Abigail last night and it was such an amazing experience! She was very knowledgable about the equipment, knowing what it did and how it worked with the spirit energy. At each stop Abigail shared at great deal of history and we used the various equipment to communicate with the spirits she discussed, as a group were getting some great activity!! The highlights of our tour were a serial killers house, two cemeteries, historic treasury street and boarded up house they call the "creepy house." I can't say enough things about our tour guide, Abigail, because she made the night so much fun!! I'm disabled and the tour was ADA (wheelchair or mobility scooter) friendly. If you want to experience paranormal activity definitely book the Haunted St. Augustine tour!! 5 Stars!!! read more

Deadwalk ghost tour with Wylie was a great experience! We toured the older section of town that we had not visited before on other ghost tours. Wylie was extremely knowledgeable not only of the ghost stories of St. Augustine but as history teacher, native of St Augustine and graduate of Flagler college he shared stories we had never heard before! We were the only two people on the 9:45 pm tour but to our delight because it was our honeymoon he took us out anyway and provided a personalized fun experience! read more

We had a great time on the dead walk tour! We learned a lot we didn't know about and it was cool to see these spots up close, not from the car window. The kids also thoroughly enjoyed themselves and loved using the meter on our walk. Andy was a hoot, as well. The only thing I'm not pleased with is a ghost squeezing my husband's ass. read more
