They called to say they were coming to install gutters. Never came. I called to see when I would be on the schedule. Could only get an answering machine and they never called back. They have my deposit which they have not returned. I doubt I will ever see it. Really disorganized and unethical company. The secretary returned from vacation. Said they had had a problem with the estimator. She apologized for the delay & drove over to return my deposit in person. They never did any work for me so I can't comment on the quality of their work. read more

Let me start out by stating that I am a big proponent of leaving positive reviews, so it took a lot to get me to to leave a complaint. After having a signed agreement in place with GF Company and paying half of the contract price, it was difficult to get the company to come out and complete the job. They initially forgot to schedule our job, and worked on newer jobs before us. Then, they did not complete the work listed on our contract. They kept telling us they would come out to finish then never would. They had a laundry list of excuses for not completing the work. The main office stopped returning my calls, or even answering the phone when I called. My sales rep was the only one who would take my calls. They finally came out THREE MONTHS after we had a signed agreement in place and finished the work. I had to call them several times a week to get them to come out, as every single time they told me they would be there on a specific day, they would not show up and give me some new excuse about why they couldn't show up. I'm not convinced they would have showed up to my house unless it was abundantly clear that I was at the house, taking a day off from work, to make sure they showed up. They told me they would be there at 8am, and that we were the first job of the day. They showed up 3.5 hours late, and required calls to make sure they were on their way, which they were not. If I had known it would be this much work just to get them to perform the work I paid for, I would have gone with a different company. read more

Great team. Job was done quick and with attention to details. I called them few times in order to clear few of my questions before signing the contract. 4 starts only because 5 start with me its when job is done with almost no money on my side. read more

Got an estimate that was more than we could afford and they won't take no for an answer. Told them flat out that we wouldn't be doing business with them and they just keep calling us. Get the hint and stop contacting people that clearly say NO! read more

This made me VERY happy because I had a leaking roof from the previous nights rain. Walter went up on my 2 story roof and took pics so I could see. He also went in my attic to pinpoint where the leak was coming from. Walter offered a quick fix repair and also a fair price of a total new roof, because my was old and multi- layered. He also offered the option of going thru my home owners insurance, which i declined. Walter was patient while I gained a couple of additional estimates. My decision to use Life Restoration was based on my interpersonal experience with Walter, the Fair price quoted and the fact that this company is a multi generational Family owned business. Upon my approval, Materials were delivered the next day and the following day work was completed efficiently and quickly. I couldn't be happier with every single aspect of the project. Last Walter encouraged me to call him if I had any issues at all.

That person gave me preliminary findings and showed me pictures of problem areas on the roof. Arnie came by another day to go over the requirements of what would be needed to install a new roof, his credentials and the guarantees offered. He then provided me an estimate that night. A few days later, his workers came, tore off the old roof, put new plywood throughout the whole roof, lined the roof and then shingled it. They had almost the whole roof done in a day, but did need a little time the next morning to finish up (which Arnie previously told me might happen). The workers were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and worked hard. They left the property very clean. A few days after the new roof was installed, we had a few days of very heavy rain and the roof did great. I would highly recommend Arnie Blake for roofing. I would bet that his company's work in other areas are just as good.

I needed to get the hinges replaced on a noisy inside door of my house (the joys of being a new homeowner), and I got several responses from contractors across Yelp. Andrei's stood out both because it was the lowest price quote, and he had the best reviews of any other respondent. It seemed a little too good to be true, but I figured it was worth taking a chance. I'm glad I did, because Andrei IS too good to be true, and yet he exists. Excellent communication, punctual, thorough and completely self-sufficient, the hinge replacement process started off great. Then, after expertly replacing the hinges, and even sanding a bit at the base of the door where it caused the door to stick when opening and closing, he checked to see how the door opened and closed - the door was now blissfully quiet, but still stuck, and he identified the door latch and plate as needing to be adjusted. Above and beyond! The door works perfectly now, it's literally like a new door. And because the door was to my mother-in-law's bedroom, having Andrei provide this superlative service scored me a few points with her (well, at least for a few hours, until she found something else to grumble about). He also left the space clean, and was very courteous from start to finish. I had 4 different siding companies did estimate on my house and garage siding, windows and gutters. GF COMPANY was not the cheapest one but also not the most expensive one. It was recommended by a friend so we went with them. Let me tell you something. Ariel and his crew was the most professional crew that I ever saw. They made sure that they will not wake up so basically everyday they made sure if next day morning time of arrival will not be to early . Everyday cleanup make the job mess disappears every night and yes it does help when you walk outside your home and you don't worry about stepping on sharp nails. On the end of the job Ariel walk with us to make sure we like what they did. I highly recommend this company for someone who wants to have great experience and great looking home when its all done. Absolutely loved working with GF Company. They did an awesome job replacing our windows last fall. They were very professional. Their quote was not the lowest one we got, but not the highest either. They had done our neighbor's roof and they were very happy. So, we decided to give them a chance, and we're really glad we did. The new windows look beautiful, no problems whatsoever, and we actually saw a reduction on our gas bill this past winter. Great company, easy to work with, honest, dependable, with great products! I signed a contract on 17 Oct. 2017 and paid $1403.43 of the $1697.82 total. The salesman Ken told me they would be here in 2.5 - 3 weeks to put up the new gutters and downspouts. I called Nov 8 (3 wks) to see when I was scheduled. Lisa called me and said they would be out Mon or Tues (the 13th or 14th). No one showed up Mon. Tues I called to see if they were coming that day. No answer, I left a message with Lisa and she still hasn't called back. I left her another message today Nov 17. I would never do business with this company again. read more

Had a roof installed from GF Company last fall. They did a great job. Their crew was polite, professional, and they did what they said they'd do for the price they quoted. We would definitely use them again. They were very knowledgeable, and went over the different options for a roofing system with the pros and cons for each option. We worked with Ariel, the owner, and we were very impressed with him. A very hard worker who's easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

Blown away at these guys, I wasn't sure at first having not heard a ton about them, but I can't believe we have a treasure like these folks in our city, probably the most efficient, best priced, and professional service I could have asked for. I had GF Company install a new roof on my house last summer. They did a wonderful job. The guys were all very polite and helpful. After installing the roof, they cleaned up everything. Their bid wasn't the cheapest, but it wasn't the highest either. I was referred to them through a friend of mine who had used them in the past. I highly recommend them. read more
