I asked for a redraw and I detest needles! but have to have it done. I have a biopsy next Monday and I need those lab results. they will not answer a request to call back, they do not have any number for you to call. their "patient experience" expert Linzy gives no phone number and asked me, via email, to give them 24 to 72 hours to find out whose fault it was - Get Labs or sonora quest. I don't care who is fault it is. I just need my blood drawn and I paid for this service as I travel a lot for work. read more

Avoid,do not use them ever. I have had multiple bad experiences and feel dumb I used them again. They don't draw the labs per protocol example wrapping tests that are light sensitive and multiple times they haven't draw enough blood. Two times in a row the technician did not arrive within the designated time window, both times creating significant issues for me because I had meetings I needed to then reschedule. Communication from the technician was late, so it was impossible to plan for a time within the two hour window, much less reschedule something if it was going to run over. Considering the value proposition of this business, timeliness and reliability are key elements of their service, and in my experience, they cannot deliver on them. It seems like this is a consistent problem with this company and reflects the people they are hiring. I was scheduled for a 5 minute blood test collection with a 9AM to 11AM time window. This was after I scheduled an appointment for the previous day but they had to move it to the next day because they were short for people/workers to take that time, which is odd but not a big deal. I went to run an errand in the morning, since I had to go into work later that day. I got stuck in some morning traffic on my way back home and the person who was to take my blood sample called since they were punctual and there at exactly 9AM. I told her I was 5 minutes away, and I couldn't really understand her over the phone, but as soon as I got home she was already gone. No patience to wait for anybody and no sense of understanding. We all have tight schedules, but the person couldn't wait a few more minutes until I arrived there at exactly 9:11 AM. What's the point of a 2-hr time window if there is no leeway or flexibility? I would understand if the procedure I scheduled took longer and was more intensive, but a blood sample is very quick. I got rescheduled but for a week out because that was the earliest next time to work with my schedule. Not a very convenient service if you are a busy person, and seems as if the workers are stretched thin and way too impatient. I fasted for 15 hours. At the end of my window when they were supposed to be at my house, they cancelled the appt citing technician had some issues. They did not have a phone number to call or live text to ask what was happening. So I just waited and waited to be cancelled at the end of my hour. I took time off work to get this done. Waiting in a room for routine lab work is a drag. I used Getlabs twice when social wasn't considered 'safe' in my social circles. I'm using them regardless of social distancing being a thing or not, ha ha. The convenience to bypass further planning, miss the traffic, avoid the heat (100+), bypass the unknown time lost in the wait room, the usual additional paperwork at check-in, etc. is easily worth the $29. Their online scheduling prices range from $29 when you plan ahead a bit (a day or two) up to $49 for same day immediate service requests. Logging back into their site is simple - nothing to recall except your phone #! It routes a code back to you immediately for login validation. You can upload your lab request(s) to the site or request them to contact the doctor's office. Being doctor's are double busy as opposed to pre-COVID I'd recommend the 1st till our world 'normalizes' if that's truly possible. Your insurance card/info can be uploaded as well to be applied by the processing facility (as well any future appointments). They are contracted with LabCorp that my Doctor uses most frequently, as well other(s). I'll never visit another lab again unless its the on-site lab at my Doctors office during a in-person scheduled appointment! I'm 100% serious on this point. All comfortable in-home lab draws were easy, super quick and did I mention in the privacy of my home in an air conditioned living room at my desired time? I've been serviced by three different certified phlebotomists from GetLabs with all being positive easy going people that were happy about the company and their roles in it. They have extended services into PA since my first visit and believe moving or already into TX and/or CA. I wish them the best of success in the expansion. This is an amazing service really, and I will continue to be a customer, zero doubts about it. I strongly recommend them to all of you. Taking a moment to think about it, for $29, surly you can cut in other areas of your budget for the great benefits mentioned here-in if necessary. Appointment was set for December 3rd from 8am to 10am, the night before I received a text saying my appointment was rescheduled for December 4th at the same time because nobody could come the 12/3 to collect samples. Well, the day of the reschedule appointment nobody showed up. Five minutes after 10 I received another text saying they rescheduled AGAIN for Friday, no reason, no apologies, just a reschedule text and email. Keep in mind I requested the day at my job on Wednesday 4. It's absolutely appalling the lack of respect for the costumers this company has shown rescheduling appointments like there's nothing else to do to keep waiting for them not to fail the next day. NEVER USING THIS SERVICE AGAIN! It has gotten progressively worse each time. Started using them a few years ago and things used to be great and convenient. But one time the blood drawer showed up 2 hours early. Wasn't fun to get woken up out of bed 2 hours before I wanted up. Was woken up by her text messages saying "I'm here." The next time, they completely lost my blood ! They tried to blame sonora quest. Then FINAL TIME I used the service I experienced so many weird things that I wondered who actually took my blood and should I be worried he didnt even use a clean needle? Giving blood is an invasive procedure...and you want to feel safe that whatever they do will be ok. First...the blood drawer was 20 minutes late after my 2 hour period. I had been fasting and he tried to tell me I didn't need to be fasting. Not true..as my iron tests require fasting. Then he continued to try and find a vein. He stuck me with the needle and nothing was coming out..and it was painful. He pulled the needle out and stuck me again .still having issues getting blood out. He TWISTED the needle as it was in me to try and get a flow going..and he kneeled on the floor to get a flow going...hurting my arm like crazy. Finally started to get blood..but took 5 minutes with a needle in me to get 3 viles of blood. Excruciating. After he got the viles he asked me for ice to put my blood on! He handed me a baggie and wanted me to fill it with ice. I said..don't u have a cooler??? He said it melted! Um...that isn't good to have a melted cooler that is used to transport blood samples! I was like man this was such a painful experience that I wanted the blood to be transported ok..so I offered him a big ice pack..but he wanted cubes instead!!! Wtf? Anyway...I put 10 cubes in the bag hoping it would make it to sonora quest safe! Then I was thinking..how unsanitary is it if he's picking up ice from a bunch of fridges and throwing it all in a cooler??!!! I was honestly mortified...and started getting scared about him even using a new needle! I tried contacting his supervisor several times..she said she would call right back. She never did call back! I can only hope that my 10 cubes of ice transported my blood safely in the 5 hours it took to drop my blood off at the lab! Anyway...this was an overall horrible experience and trying to communicate with a real person is really damn difficult ! Do not use this service..it will make you very unsettled! Ugh. read more

Update: I had written a bad review here and in full transparency I wanted to advise of what happened. I had an appointment scheduled, i got a text stating everythign was good and confirming my appointment. I didn't get any other emails or text directly from them (or so I had thought ), turned out that my phone decided it looked like spam so it didnt show me it , they also used a different number for the confirmation vs the payment verification , so the next day when my appointment was due , i kept waiting and checking my text but never got anything , i went online and tried to get ahold of someone , went to the support page but wasn't able to get any help , no contact number to call or anything , on my profile online it didnt show anything about the payment being declined. I am not sure why its so difficult to have all the data in one place or they couldn't take 2 seconds to just call me and say hey the card got declined so i could check my fsa account (the card number had changed ) . My past experiences were good , the nurses were always nice and prompt which is why when i got ghosted , i felt so frustrated. I will possibly try again and update again read more

Zero star if that was a choice: We had a horrible experience the last time I used them! ( have used several times before and it was worth the initial $79 fee) 1. They cancelled my daughter's appointment 24 hrs before appointment without calling me and then no longer had an appointment when I woke to the text saying there was a scheduling error. 2. Prices went up $20 so now $99 3. Told I would be credited $25 for the hassle and inconvenience of them cancelling our appointment despite multiple confirmations leading to the date. No credit was ever applied and then told I would have to wait for another future appointment to get this "credit". 4. Took numerous texts and hoops to get results after 11 days. I will never use this service again. Sad because the phlebotomist have been great. It's the office staff that are horrible. I don't know if there has been a major change in the "office" or what. 2 other great options to use moving forward. read more

GetLabs service has gone way downhill from when I started using them 2 years ago. The price was right and appointments were easy to get. Now I have to pay $79 for any appointment and I have been trying to get an appointment for around 4 weeks now. I make an appt, they cancel or make me another appointment on a day I cannot be at home. Now I have had an appointment (they rescheduled it after cancelling) for tomorrow morning, I received numerous notices of the time, and just got another notice it is cancelled. Now it is too late to get my labs to my Dr in time but will have to go into an office at Labcorb which is also difficult to schedule. I don't think I will ever use them again. We should have learned our lesson after the first time we used GetLabs and they mishandled the blood sample and had to redo the test. They were fairly? pleasant about it though and fixed things so we tried another venture some time later. That ended up being one of the most horrible vendor experiences ever, equal to or worse than anything Quest has done. The same phlebotomist came (probably trained at Quest) and she was so rude as to be more than a little scary! Also, they screwed up some numbers somewhere and we are still trying to sort out a bill from LabCorp. Perhaps, under duress, I might try to do business with this company again but I wouldn't let that b!tch Ashely in my house for anything. Using medical transport costs about the same, isn't much more difficult, and it's a whole lot less scary! But the labs around here tend to be pretty awful too so I just don't know what a fragile human is supposed to do. read more

Terrible experience! I chose this service for the convenience of an early morning appointment that would prevent my daughter from having to miss school, but also because I wrongly assumed that the direct link from LabCorp indicated that this would be a reliable company. The technician did not show up or attempt to contact me, and I had no way to reach anyone to try to figure out whether she was still coming. When I finally got a response to my online inquiries hours later, all I received were excuses about how the technician was trying to reach me and could not get to my house. (Despite an automated text message informing me that she had arrived at my house!) There were no texts, voicemails or anything else to indicate that she was trying to get in contact with me. In addition, the rescheduling option offered via email by the customer service representative was no longer available when she finally answered my response several more hours later. The bloodwork that was supposed to be drawn was for a time sensitive test that we may have to wait another month to complete now. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional on every level, with no regard for the implications of the way they run their business. Labcorp should seriously reconsider their partnership with GetLabs. read more

I got bloodwork done from them and turned out to be all for not - based on the pic included with this review it would seem the collection specialist (whatever the technical name for them is) failed to appropriately mark the vial with my sample!!! Arghhh so frustrating, not to mention the added delay in getting results for a potentially serious issue :( Skip this silly "we come to your home" service and just go to a proper lab where (hopefully) they know what they're doing!!! read more

I was so excited to use this for my patients. Here is my latest experience. Tech shows up 2 hours late to patients home who is fasting. Runs in draws blood in less then 3 minutes, patient asks do I need to sign or anything? Tech says no and runs out. Proceeds to take the lab order and blood to the wrong lab. Patient doesn't have insurance and must use who we are contracted with. The wrong lab has now processed these and there's a bill. Call get labs three times, could only speak with a customer service rep. No manager would get on the phone or call me back. One manager messages with the rep and tell her it's on us. What???? I still haven't heard back. I will no longer refer patients or set up for patient. This is the worst costumer service I have. read more

Poor customer service and improperly handling of blood samples. I can not give GetLabs a good review despite my giving them 2x to fix the issue. The result has been so bad that the Dr who ordered the lab work will no longer be referring patients to Getlabs because of the negligence involved in not only not knowing how to properly handle the patients blood once drawn, but also not caring about losing a physicians business. When I told the get labs rep online about this she only said; I'm just a "middle person" how is my fault" I explained that they should care about a Dr being so upset about the poorly handled specimens and that they should also care that the person trying to fix the situation doesn't know anything about the tests in the requisition and can't answer any important questions like what type of test and are they positive it's not a blood test? The reply was I don't know. I would have to look it up. To which I was told they would call back, but they never called back. Very unprofessional and caused my child distress having to do another a blood draw despite GetLabs offering to send someone "for free" to make up for the first time I paid being a fail. I just had the worst experience with GetLabs. Something that was suppose to be convenient turned out to be a complete waste of time and added more work on me. I had 2 nurses arrive at my house - one more experienced and one seemed like she was a trainee. Although she did not tell me she was a trainee, the more experienced one was guiding her in the process. She didn't seem confident and didn't puncture me correctly. We were unable to collect the blood samples needed for my testing. Not only that, blood started to gush out of my arm and got everywhere on the table and floor. To add insult to injury, they tried to blame the tubes for being defective vs. just owning up to their mistake. Now I have to call back my physician to request for new testing tubes and reschedule a new appointment (NOT with Getlabs). You're better off just driving yourself to a more experienced lab to get the work done. It'll save you the headache and time. read more

I would give 0 rating if possible. Scheduled labs for a Friday morning. No call, no show. After arrival window passed, I received a "reschedule" notice via email, no call from anyone. Tuesday came, no call, no show again this time, except this time technician out right lied and said she came and I wasn't home. I work from home and the front door is literally visible from my desk. She never called and she never showed, my ring camera can verify! She sent a picture of another house in the neighborhood and tried to say it was my house as proof she was there. They also billed for services on the Friday of my first no show. I canceled after the second no show on Tuesaday afternoon and my money paid will not be refunded for 10 days. read more

This is my second time using GetLabs. I am terrified of blood draws and it's so convenient being able to lay on my couch and put on my music to relax me while I have my blood drawn. My Phlebotomist this time, Sierra, was great, quick, gentle, understanding, only 1 poke and listened to my request that I don't like to talk during my draw but still made sure I was doing ok. She also had me confirm the info on the vial labels was correct. My scheduled time was between 8-10am and she showed up at 9:30. I received a text and email letting me know when she was on her way and how long it would be for her to arrive. Now I have to say reading the recent reviews made me a bit nervous that I was going to have a bad experience this time and was worried they weren't going to show up, but like I said everything went perfect. I will keep using this service until I do have a bad experience but so far I have not! Needed some lab work done and when I looked into quest calendar, the next appointment available was weeks ahead. I wanted to get this done and Somehow searching online for options, I found Getlabs. The booking was very fast and very easy. I Made the appointment kinda late (at 9pm) for the next morning for the 8-9am window. WOW, I was thrilled not to have to be subjected to one of the two lab companies in Arizona who have terrible customer service (with the most unfriendliest check in people who have NO personality and are seemingly as miserable as the people waiting in the miserable small, stuffy waiting closets of a room), can't get an appointment, full, miserable waiting rooms full of other hungry people who have to sit for hours waiting to get their blood drawn! So after being given incorrect information on appointments, I rescheduled. I ended up speaking with the CEO about my issue which was not resolved. I ended up having to reschedule a doctor's appointment a full week because of their lack of accountability. I did end up using another service here in Phoenix who were very helpful and more affordable. Ultimately this is part of the CEO's response when discussing the lack of phlebotomists in the Phoenix area: "In transparency, this is not a market we have many phlebotomists in and therefore if we have call-outs we may need to reschedule. Although we greatly appreciate serving you and would like to continue doing so, my recommendation would be to use a different phlebotomy service until we hire more phlebotomists if you need to have certainty that your appointments will be fulfilled at the exact date and time you select." I'm fairly certain a majority of people who are paying upwards of 70 dollars would like to have certainty that their appointments will be fulfilled. After leaving a negative review on their Facebook page, I was blocked and my Getlabs account was deactivated without being given warning. Negative reviews should be used as feedback and used to fix issues. read more

Extremely unprofessional. Do not go with them for your lab services. I had a 6-8 am apt scheduled for my daughter before school today and they did not show up and did not have the courtesy to notify me in advance that they did not plan to show up. I had an email confirmation of the booking along with a booking reference number. I contacted them multiple times during the visit time and after to check on their ETA and they got back to me several Hours later saying they didn't have the lab order from the doctor and that I set up the appointment under my Sonora account (although my daughter is a minor). The doctor had faxed the lab order to them and sent me a copy as well which I could have easily given them at the visit (or in advance had they contacted me). They did not bother to contact me in advance and notify me of the missing lab order or update any information they need or even ask to reschedule, instead they no showed and sent a RESPONSE to my emails back several hours later justifying why they did not show up with ZERO advance communication.... Extremely unprofessional. I shuffled around my schedule and sent my daughter to school later for this. No respect for peoples' times. I will never go with this service again! read more
