I am helping my Auntie as her health has worsened and unfortunately, as her mobility has deteriorated, her need for lab work has significantly increased. The constant trips to Labcorp, Sutter lab, and Quest have become the bane of my existence! That is, until I found Getlabs online- Wow, what a difference this service has made in our lives!!! Joyce fixed a mistake I made in submitting duplicates of the same lab requisition instead of the 2 separate orders I should have sent. She took care of it after hours from her home in order to have it update in time! Shari just left. She was punctual, pleasant, and professional! This review would have been worse if it were not for Jarrett - the tech that came to the house. He was SUPER nice, polite and prompt. He was very patient with my mom who changed her mind at the last minute, and helped me coordinate a refund. Jarrett is a great asset to the company! Thanks Jarrett for being so understanding! However I can't say the same for Gretchen the customer service rep and the dispatcher who were both very rude to me. I'd called to get an ETA for Jarrett, so there would be someone else at the house when he arrived. But instead of the info I asked for, I was rudely lectured by Gretchen (twice) about how the techs could not contact us because it was unsafe?!? Then the dispatcher rudely yelled on the phone within my hearing about how rude I was being when I told Gretchen that she hadn't really helped me. Word of advice: please give your patients an ETA when you send the notifications so they have an idea when you're arriving, especially as appointments are in 1 hour blocks (mine was between 12-1p). Also, know that some patients are disabled or hearing impaired and so need someone there at the appointment, who may not live with them. All in all I might use this service again ONLY if they send the same phlebotomist (Jarrett). read more

The GetLabs experience from beginning to end was exceptional. It is easy to make an appointment online and the fee charged is very reasonable considering it is hard to get an appointment at any regular lab, especially in the morning when you are fasting. I usually wait in line outside my regular lab before they open trying to get an early blood draw since I can't get an appointment. The technician I had, Inez, was very professional and technically highly skilled. She was masked (as was I), introduced herself and thanked me for providing a copy of my insurance information. I have small and rolling veins and she immediately found a good vein that she could work with, gently drew my blood, checked all the details as far as name and birthdate, and was on her way. Very seldom do I have experience with a phlebotomist who listens, and has the capability to find a vein with the first poke, and she saw two she could use. Very pleasant person and easy to talk to. Some technicians walk you through the process as they clean the arm, look for the vein, and put in the needle; I personally don't need to hear all those details and in this case the friendly conversation distracted me from potential discomfort, and there was none. This is important when you get stressed and may faint with blood draws. Although online and text interactions were well thought through and efficient, Inez was the one made this experience 5 star. What a great service, I tried to make normal appointment going to a walk in location only to find out there wasn't anything available for over a week that fit into my schedule. I checked out the Getlabs link and I was able to schedule something two days later. Their system allowed me to choose the time that was best for me. The lady coming to my house texted me when she was on her way, so was very professional and timey. The whole thing took less than 15 minutes from the time she arrived . Thank the lord for Judy! Most people need to use the ultrasound to get blood and she got it both visits first try. This service is worth every penny. I would honestly rate GetLabs a 10/5 if I could. Judy was incredible. I am terrified of all things needles and blood and had passed out 6/10 times in the past. Having the option to have someone come to my home really helped my anxiety. Judy came in, she was aware of my fears because she read my notes. She made sure I was comfortable and even propped up my legs while I was on my couch. She distracted me & even asked me if I preferred to know when the needle would be going in or if she should just do it. I know all these things seem so small but they helped my anxiety tremendously. She walked in & immediately told me she was going to take great care of me and she did. I am so thankful for this service and for Judy! Also, this service is worth every single penny if you have vasovagal syncope like me or if you have other conditions that make going to a physical lab not an option. Just had Ms. Mary come to our house and do a blood draw for my 8 year old daughter. My daughter has a fear of shots and was very nervous about this blood draw. I made an appointment Monday for Tuesday. I got call saying that they had an emergency and wouldn't be able to service my mom on Tuesday. I told them they could come on Wednesday but not later than that because we needed to get the lab completed soon. They then did not have a phlebotomist for us for Wednesday called and left a message. I missed the message and went into their website. Their website gave me a confirmation of a schedule change to Wednesday (nothing showing it was again cancelled) and noted that I paid $79. No show from Get Labs. They do not accept phone calls only texts and emails. By text they told me that my payment hadn't gone through and my appointment was canceled because they had no one for the draw...in spite of their website still showing I paid$79 and my appointment still confirmed for Wednesday. Good idea; terrible execution. A blood draw should not be this difficult read more

I'm so sad that I didn't get her last name so I could properly address her, but Karina was flawless! She was so friendly and by far, one of the best phlebotomists I've had! My veins aren't the greatest but she was able to do her thang! Normally you feel a little pinch or pressure when needles are inserted and I was shocked that I felt absolutely nothing. No digging, no pain, no nothing. If there's a way to request someone, I'm definitely going with Karina again and anyone reading this should too! I've been ranting about how awesome the at home service is all day! This type of collection is so important in times like this and I was honestly a little worried about having to go somewhere since most places are antibody or active testing facilities. Judy M. was very kind and was able to draw my blood without any difficulty. Sometimes it takes a few tries before anyone can get a good vein so I was very happy! My husband had just come from a 3 1/2-week hospitalization and was instructed to have weekly labs done. I went online to schedule the labs through Senora Quest; however, they had no open appointments for the first week. I did notice that they are now associated with Getlabs who could come to our home in Prescott, AZ to draw the labs. I scheduled this appointment for the day and time needed. The phlebotomist came to our home at 6 am that morning and drew the blood work. She told us she would be immediately dropping off the blood samples at Senora Quest as she had no other appointments that day. This was a Monday morning. He had an appointment with the oncologist the following Thursday, however, lab results were not available by that day (the oncologist had no results either). The CBC, one of the labs drawn, are usually resulted and in our Senora Quest lab portal within 24 hours. After several phone calls, to both Getlabs and Senora Quest, I learned that the blood samples had not been dropped off until 2:30 pm that Monday. The CBC was not able to be processed as the blood sample had not been stored properly, thus no results were available for the CBC. This was very upsetting, as the lab results were needed to help guide the treatment plan. Getlabs did agree to refund our $49. This could have been a wonderful service; however, we are afraid to trust them again. read more

I was excited to try this because I truly cannot get to a LapCorps location during my work hours, and am willing to wake up super early for someone to come to my residence. Apparently the hour-long timeframe that is the appointment is just the time during which the phlebotomist COULD show up, not a definition of the actual appointment time. She showed up as I was pulling out to leave for work, for me to be late to work, because I needed my appointment to actually be DONE at the end time of the appointment block. Communication around this with the company was minimal, and attempts at requesting a refund or reschedule at no charge have fallen on deaf ears or neglected email inboxes. read more

This company hired me with the start date I put in my two week notice at my current job and the night before I was to start this job at 4:30 p.m. they called and told me I didn't pass my assessment that I just taken 3 days prior to this. Now I'm out of my current job it's Christmas time and I have no job and I'm the only support for my family I can't even buy my baby's Christmas. So do not go to work for this company they are untrustworthy. Please trust me do not get thrown under the bus like I did I have been drawing blood for 25 years how I didn't pass my assessment I do not know. The ladies box had dirty needles in it it looked like it been kicked down the stairs and she is the head of quality there's no quality in her box I am telling you this company is no good you will waste your time and be out of a job. read more

I tried getlabs for my routine lab work because I had to fast and the normal lab I go to couldn't get me in until noon or later. I decided to give the mobile service a shot and was pleasantly surprised. I can count on one hand how many times someone has actually been able to draw my blood without multiple tries.
