Opened in December of last year, the beautiful displays of gift baskets, assorted candy and cookies are a such a welcoming and pretty sight as you enter the store. The candy and cookies are not homemade, but you will recognize several of the brand names that they do carry, such as: Jelly Bean, Mrs. Prindables, Corso's Cookies, The Popcorn Factory, Lindt, Ferrero, Godiva, Ghiradelli, Hammond's Candies and several other favorites. There are pre-made baskets filled with goodies to celebrate Birthdays, a New Baby, Religious occasions, Get Well Soon, etc., but they can also custom make any other basket that you ask for. The section my daughter immediately ran to was where an entire wall was filled to the brim with many different types of chocolates and jelly beans you could possibly imagine. There are bags to the side that you fill with these delights which sell for $8.95 a pound. My daughter chose the malted milk balls and minature peanut butter cups. We took 1/2 pound of each. The chocolate is so fresh and delicious, I am very surprised there was any left by the time we got home. This is a great store to visit - definitely stop in if you're in the area and satisfy that sweet tooth! I shall be returning!!

I don't live in the area so it took me some time to find a place with goodies she would enjoy.  I placed my order around 2am on sunday night and requested it to be delivered in Nanticoke on Monday, I really meant ASAP, wasn't expecting it to be done by then, considering the late order. I called Monday morning just to see what day and time they were expecting it to be done... I spoke to Jen, who made my basket , is awesome and so sweet!! Trying to fly back to the Midwest through the recent polar vortex was a downer to say the least, but snacking on my chocolate covered sunflower seeds and smidgens made it all better. It made me so happy to return home to find my favorite childhood candy store still flourishing, filled with tasty treats, and children begging their parents for one more candy. They make all the chocolates in house and they also have some vintage chocolate moulding. The lady was pleasant to interact and very good customer service skills. The store it is a regular chocolate store with plenty of lights and parking is located in the side. They have a port o potty for a bathroom.

Truth be told, I prefer candy made in the Buffalo area. I like to buy local. A friend was selling these and I threw caution to the wind and purchased a case - a case of non local goods. Where to begin? The chocolate is smooth, very smooth and perfectly balanced. The bar size is large, 1.75 oz. There is no grittiness and the flavors combine to make a heavenly combination! Working on this case and planning on another!

A few days later on Cyber Monday they gave free overnight shipping. This was right after we paid $75 to ship the chocolate to California. We asked for at least a coupon or something to make us feel valued and were turned down. I'll be buying my holiday chocolate elsewhere from now on. This is after 30 years of buying from this company. They have the classic stuff like root beer and birch beer and then offer cotton candy and pickle soda. The train going around overhead took me back to my childhood.
