Love Jitty Joes!!! The warm weather called for sweet treat. This place is always busy but the service is fast! They have a ton of outdoor tables too. While eating my ice cream tonight, I felt something hard hit my teeth. Spit this object out, only to find it was a BROKEN FINGER NAIL. I am utterly appalled and disgusted by this. I got the homemade cannoli ice cream and a broken finger nail was mixed into the ice cream. I have included a picture of the fingernail (as well as my nails so you can see it is not one of my own). Called the manager to inform them they should immediately get rid of the cannoli ice cream and she was apologetic & refunded me my money. I certainly understand mistakes happen but chewing on someone else's finger nail is a mistake no one should have to experience! Prior to this, I would drive 30 minutes to get Jitty Joes ice cream but I am afraid this is something I can't get over. read more

Literally such a gem! First, they have such creative & wonderful specialty flavors. I highly recommend lucky charm, almond joy, and banana fluff. I typically order through door dash & they are indeed generous with sizes. Bare in mind when I order 1 scoop, I often receive what feels like 3/4 scoops! lol My pups love the doggie bowls with the doggie treat at the bottom. Yet they still try to steal my unattended ice cream when I'm not looking lol. Anyways, this place is a hidden gem in the area & I love their flavors & creamy texture. Highly recommend read more

5 stars, firstly I'd like to say the portion size here is BIG, every size they have small, medium, large is a decent portion size, bigger compared to most other places. Pricing is cheaper, staff is nice. I got a large Italian ice, and the ice isn't softer/sticky, not like Rita's which harder It's different here and I like it A LOT read more

Best ice cream in/near Moosic! Lots of different ice cream, sundaes, etc to choose from. They have edible cookie dough, which is delicious. The place is always spotless when we come here and service is super friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor they have checker boards painted on the tables along with the checker pieces so you can play while enjoying your ice cream. The kids size sundae is a great size and comes in a waffle bowl. Whenever I have visited my family my grandpa would bring us here for a treat. I came back with my husband and introduced him to the goodness at Jitty Joe's and he was like a kid in a candy store. First of all (which I know now) they have vegan options (or dairy free)!!!! This is amazing! Prices are always excellent and the serving size is the definition of the American generous serving. Lots of flavors and options so it took us awhile to decide. We ended up taking a 4 scoop cup home to share. Chocolate Oreo, almond joy (my particular favorite- coconut ice cream was super good), brownie batter, and Cookie Monster (which was fine but not exactly what we imagined). Price is very reasonable for ice cream these days although the price listed on the menu board in incorrect. Super friendly staff. read more

My experience at Jitty's was not a good one. I loved the workers there but the owner is not a good man. Not someone you put your faith in. I hope he ain't making these damn ice creams, cause we'd be poisoned. Good luck to those girls, I think they should go help out Ice Screamers so they money, don't look funny and tell that man, respect his customers before we find his belly button for him, lord knows he ain't seen it in awhile. I hope he get it together, cause he ain't living BIG SLICKSTA style. read more

I stopped by Jitty Joe's for ice cream. The ice cream shop has a lot of different flavors. Customer can choose traditional ice cream or soft serve. I had a pretzel cone with toffee soft serve ice cream. This was my first time eating a pretzel cone. The saltiness from the pretzel cone and ice cream was a perfect blend. The ice cream at Jitty Joe's is flavorful and very creamy. Ice cream scoops are generous. There's a free topping bar if you get ice cream in a cup. The ice cream shop was clean and well maintained. Ice cream is good; they're always coming up with new ideas. However, the owner (?) that sits and watches to micromanage the girls needs to either step in or go home. I watched an employee ask a customer to get his mask or order outside. The customer didn't listen, but the employee obviously didn't have any backup so she took the order. AFTER the customer walked outside after placing his order, the owner(?) disciplined the girl, even though he obviously watched and heard the whole interaction. He makes the atmosphere uneasy. read more

I have worked at an ice cream shop before and I know how difficult it can be when you are busy. He is condescending and rude to the girls which is very unfortunate considering how good their ice cream is. read more

I loved jitty Jos since I was litte, now it's called Piccs. Different owners, same ice cream. The memories will always be there. Ever since I was little, I would spending the day at my Grandmas then going to jitty Jos as a treat. How time does fly. Then after my grandma moved we went rarely, only during memorial day weekend. I'd give them 5 starts, but the manager man is a complete asshole. I've seen him be rude to the girl for no reason at all, and the customers. Whenever I want ice cream i'm conflicted if i should support that awful man who just sits on his ass all day barking orders. read more

I LOVE Jitty Joe's. I've been visiting this ice cream shop for years. You get tons of ice cream for a good price. They have many many flavors to choose from. One of my favorites is this new flavor: salty caramel truffle. I usually opt for a single in a cone, so I can't speak to their sundaes/milkshakes/etc. However, they do have a lot of ice cream alternatives [flurries, sundaes, milkshakes], if you want something more than just a scoop. Was informed that they would try to do it but have a difficult time once they mix the soft flavor then try to dip it. I mentioned I'd be more than happy to try something else due to having many great options available. The woman insisted on trying to dip it then ended up just putting it in a cup, ehh defeats the whole purpose. Wasn't very satisfied with the ice cream or the service. Might consider giving it a try again due to having good options of hard ice cream. We will see.
