Service was very nice. We were treated and employee was friendly. The ice cream was also great!

Male employee was so rude, we were the only customers inside, he messed the orders and judged us for apparently getting too many toppings in his opinion. Also overcharged us on the entire order. Never going to this place again! read more

Don't know what these negative reviews are talking about, the place was great! Could definitely be cleaned up a bit and use a little makeover because it looks old, but the ice cream and the guy working there was awesome. Joked around a little bit with him as we were getting our order. Definitely recommend read more

Cold Stone Creamery - Brownie a la Cold Stone w/ Peanut Butter Cups - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Moosic, Pennsylvania

Disappointing!!! I drove over 1 hour because I was craving a Cold Stone Milk shake BUT had the WORST experience ever in my life. My husband and I both ordered Cake Batter Milk shakes. The girl was left alone and said it was her first day. She had to go in the back to get Cake Batter Ice Cream for both shakes and told us sorry that it was already melted. She didn't say sorry its melted do you want something else. She continued to make our shakes. The Ice Cream was ALREADY melted and she put Milk in them....it was as runny as pouring milk into cereal. I asked for strawberries in my Milk shake and she put two TINY TINY TINY strawberries in it. I got chocolate cake and yellow cake in mine and it was still as runny as water. My husband asked for Apple pie filling in his and she literally put 1 teaspoon...it was honestly upsetting for driving that far. read more

Awful customer service. Very entitled owner. Ice cream was good but could have definitely been better if it was made like I asked & paid for. Not a very friendly atmosphere. read more

This is the dirtiest Cold Stone location I have ever seen. The women's restroom was out of order, so the man working said to use the men's - I couldn't. Walking in to pee every where and just plain filth is not something I expected. However, after going out to order my ice cream, the state of the restroom made more sense. The "mix-in" containers had layers of dust and bugs on them and the rainbow sprinkles were so old they had little to no color left. I got a peanut butter cup mixed in and it tasted old. I ate two bites and had to throw it out. This location is giving other locations a negative image. read more

Cold Stone is a place that has me conflicted. I don't want to like it; it's a chain, it's overpriced, it's cheesy and the ice cream doesn't compare to locally owned establishments like Blue Ribbon Dairy in West Pittston or Manning's in Clarks Summit. Even though I don't want to like it, I find myself drawn to it like a moth to a flame for one reason, the "mix-ins". Its a huge gimmick but the way they fold the whipped cream and the marshmallow cream right into the ice cream makes it so creamy and light that I can't stay away. If you're travelling through the area, try a locally owned business like those I mentioned above, you will be very impressed. If you're a local and want to try something different, give it a whirl. read more

Some of the most memorable moments in life of eating ice-cream were born here. Simply best. Better than any other options in the area - that I know of. read more

I've always loved getting a Cold Stone cake for my birthday. It's been a few years since I've had one since the Wilkes Barre location closed. I stopped by the Scranton location on 5/23 around 3:10pm. I was the only person in the store at that time. I walked in and it took a minute or two for a guy to come out from the back. I told him I wanted to order a custom birthday cake. He seemed very annoyed and was not very helpful. He went into the back and got an order form. He asked what I wanted and since it had been a while since I've ordered a cake from them I asked for suggestions, but he wouldn't offer any. I almost wanted to just walk out. He scribbled a few things onto the paper and asked when I'd pick it up. I felt rushed and like an annoyance. I don't get it... If you hate your job then find something else. I left without any paperwork and without paying bc he said I'd pay at pickup. I feel very nervous about the entire situation and hope it's what I ordered when I do pick it up. Picked it up on Saturday, June 3rd around 12:15 and the girl at the counter was pleasant. The cake was good, but could have been better had I been given more options and not rushed out in three minutes. I paid $32 for the smallest size, which is insanely small for the price paid. When I need an ice cream cake I'll be sure to go to Manning's. Also, my boyfriend, who's birthday this was for, got extremely sick after eating a piece. read more

Tucked away in what is possibly the most awkward strip mall anywhere is this gimmicky ice cream shop. The menu and concept contain a lot of corny and cutesy phrases and made-up words that have a ™ or ® after them, right down to "10-minute vacation" and the word "creations." This refers to their menu of pre-chosen ice cream & topping combinations. You also have the option of creating your own. Your selections are then tempered on what is literally a cold marble slab. The ice cream is of surprisingly average (meaning three stars) quality, but the names for the sizes are even worse than at Starbucks - you can order a "Like it," "Love it," or "Gotta have it." This is a franchised location and they set their own prices, which I think are quite high for average ice cream made with a little song and dance. Yeah, it's sort of fun having a giant ice cream sundae toppings bar at your disposal, but I would choose an entire pint of Haagen-Dazs or a trip to Manning's for a better and less expensive "ten minute vacation" (or 1,000 calorie journey™). read more

Expensive to have a scoop of ice cream for $5. Having them mash the stuff into the ice cream is not worth it. Especially without free wifi or clean bathrooms! That's the ki read more

My last visit makes me think twice about going to this location. I ordered cake batter ice cream which I typically do, but it was nasty. I had taken it to go or I would have said something. When I got back, I went to dump it down the sink and it clumped. I had to add soap to break it down. I will think twice about going to this place again. read more

Workers were not in uniform and clearly miserable. They were not pleasant. The store was dirty and there was trash everywhere. Windows looked like they have not been washed in months... extremely disappointed considering my family used to go there all the time in the past. read more
