It's a cozy little place with big flavors. You can grab a slice or order a whole cheesecake, and from today's selection, I went with the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. As you can see in the video, it was loaded with fluffy, peanut buttery goodness. This treat was rich, delicious, and downright amazing. I caught a glimpse of "the lady" herself, busy in the back making cakes, but I met "the cheesecake man," who offered warm and welcoming service--something I truly appreciate. I had seen him and his wife/partner earlier as his Slash-esque headwear was hard to miss, and they seemed very sweet together - turns out they live in the area and she is the owner of Be Kind Bake House. He was wearing a shirt that said "Be Kind," and clearly they live up to that ethos! I'm writing this review because those chocolate chip cookies and cheddar twists are delectable, and I could not stop eating them! I'm not usually a sweets person, but I devoured those cookies. They make everything from scratch and create custom cakes too. Be sure to check out their shop if you're in Honesdale PA, or find them at local farmers' markets.

I was very excited about the pastry case at first since everything in there looked fresh and home made, but when I was trying to decide what to get "to go", like one of their muffins, I saw flies buzzing around and landing on the items. No thank you. I know flies are around in the summer, but the pastry case should be shielded from bugs at all times.
