Very good ice cream. The hard ice cream is hard. Delicious flavors, creamy. Would recommend. Could tell this is 'the' place to go in town because the line was long. But it went fast. Everyone is very warm, customers, and of course the servers at the window. read more

Gravity Ice Cream - Coconut almond, peanut butter fudge, and peanut butter topping (which prolly didn't need). - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Honesdale, Pennsylvania

fast, friendly and attentive service. ice cream is delicious!!! something for everyone.

Lowest prices, highest quality, and community oriented makes this ice shop a one of a kind place. Why else would 100 people wait in a line when other local ice cream shops are open. All of Honesdale ice cream shops are good, but no ice cream business within 100 miles can compare to Gravity Ice Cream!! read more

$1 ice cream is a real thing! Classic chocolate/vanilla soft serve. It was bigger than I thought it was going to be for $1 too! It's so cute to find something that must be a town tradition for so long. I also got a dole whip (watermelon flavor) which was a great value since it was also low cost but delicious. read more

Saw the sign around the corner for $1 cones. Perfect during this hot week. Ice cream is tasty and for $1 the portion size is great. 50 cents extra if you want a topping like sprinkles. Nice velvety creamy soft serve. Order at the window and you can eat inside if you want to, but there are benches outside. Will get a cone every time I visit Honesdale. read more

Wow! This is going to be my go to ice cream place! There are sooo many options but I took my family and we ordered as much as we could eat. But of course I had to try some of theirs too so I can share it with you all. Vanilla ice cream with sprinkles - 10/10 perfect!!! It was so creamy and the perfect amount of flavor. Death by Chocolate - 12/10 If you are a chocolate lover this is a MUST!!!! It had everything in it that has chocolate. I'll leave it a mystery but if you love chocolate go and loads of chocolate items get this flavor! Chocolate Shake - 10/10 The chocolate shake was sooo yummy and had the perfect amount of chocolate! Usually it takes me awhile to even drink my shake waiting for the ice cream to melt but this was all ready to go! Highly recommend especially if you dislike waiting to enjoy your shake. Black Raspberry - 10/10 Great flavor if you love raspberry. Strawberry (hard ice cream) - 10/10 All I can say is YES! I will definitely be back here again. The young lady who helped us was so sweet. They all wore a mask while working. The line has an x mark on the sidewalk to keep distance. Everything was spaced perfectly. I went around 7:30 and it wasn't so crowded. But once it hit 8:00 there was a line. (Also this is a Cash Only place - So please bring cash and hand sanitizer with you) Lastly...enjoy it as much as we did. read more

Cheap, delicious ice cream. In October there will be a line down the block before they even should be open, but they open early and happily serve you. Plenty of seating inside with kids toys and books, or benches outside if you are okay with bees. They have $1 cones of soft serve and atypical flavors of hard ice cream that make this a treat read more

Gravity Ice Cream - May open early - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Honesdale, Pennsylvania

I had a small black raspberry shake for $2.75. It was quite wild in its flavor profile with black raspberry seeds in it, guaranteeing me an authentic experience. The pavement in front of the walk up windows was decorated with the remnants of thousands of crushed candy sprinkles that added a aspect of fantasy. One hairy bee hung out but was polite and did not make unwelcome advances while providing some decent exposure to local fauna. Being pre-diabetic I can assure other pre-diabetics that the ice was both dangerous and delicious. Delightful, highly recommended. read more

What a wonderful little place. it is a walk up window in the middle of a side street off of the main drag in Honesdale. The soft serve is excellent, creamy and flavorful. We have had both the chocolate and vanilla, and both were great. On one occasion, my husband had the twist of strawberry on his vanilla cone - wow, what a burst of flavor. This time around I tried a hand-dip of the homemade Black Raspberry Ice Cream. OMG, the flavor was to die for, and it was very creamy. As much as I like the soft serve, this will be my go-to order. And the sizes... are GENEROUS. We each had a small which was more than enough. read more

Great homemade hard ice cream and lots of options for all sorts of frozen treats. Perfect spot for a warm afternoon.

Gravity Ice Cream - Ice cream, dog - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Honesdale, Pennsylvania

Took a 30 minute ride with my family to see what all the rave was about. Very disappointed. There were mosquitos everywhere, I couldn't even approach the window. They need a fan or something so people don't have to literally fight these mosquitos off. Signs with flavors and products were all over the windows and quite unorganized. Although the ice cream was good, quite inexpensive, and workers were friendly, it's not worth the aggravation. read more

From out of town and came here twice they have very good soft serve! The dollar mini cones were a good size. They have candy crushed toppings. Deff worth the stop! read more

My cousin Bob told us about this spot and we headed down here after dinner. Good choice! I went with a jumbo swirled cone ($3.50) and it was damn delicious. Soft serve swirled ice cream in PA just tastes better than anywhere else...kind of like PA corn on the cob. Don't know why, but it just does! I would definitely come back here to get some more ice cream if I lived close by. Hell...we are here one more night and I might have to make it a point to come back! The ice cream was great! read more

Such a classic small town ice cream place. So many options, such reasonable prices. I had two scoops and a topping, mrs had a small scoop on a cone and son had a scoop in a cup. All in was $7. Ice cream is good. Toppings are quite generous. Service is quick. So many things to get including brown bonnets which are classic, old school and make me think of being a kid. read more

I love this place. It's full of charm. There is a window where you get soft or hard ice cream with toppings of chocolate dipped cones or dished ice cream. You feel like you are in a time warp because of the price. It's super cheap. Then you can take your ice cream inside where you can sit at a table family style. There are coloring books and crayons and other various books for kids. There are also old milkshake blenders that are antiques for show. If you are a person who grew up where luncheonettes were in your town you will recognize the ice cream parlour milk shake blenders. I love going there. It makes me feel like a kid. read more

I am an ice cream connoisseur, I drove an extra 6 miles from the ice cream store that is right near our lake house in order to test out the homemade ice cream. Luckily I went with nine other people who shared their ice cream with me so I got to taste basically everything there. The test I always give to a new ice cream store is to test their milkshakes. The taste of a McDonald's, Chic-Fil-A, or Wendy's milkshake makes me nauseous. The only milkshakes I can truly enjoy are those the combine the tender balance of milk and homemade ice cream with my desired flavor. On this subject I do give gravity a very high score. I myself chose a coffee milkshake while another in my party chose a mint shake. Both of them however tasted very much like vanilla, not enough flavoring to make it quite five stars. The taste of their homemade ice cream was definitely five stars. I did get to try the birthday cake ice cream, along with their standard vanilla and both were very much enjoyable. Now for the faults, their soft serve is very much subpar. I am not a fan of Dairy Queen or most other soft serve ice cream's due to their low butterfat content. If I'm going to get soft serve I want it to be high quality, gravity ice cream is bare minimum. The three sundaes in our party were each made of soft serve so they were less than enjoyable, if possible I would recommend getting a sundae made with hard ice cream. I saw a few signs for their fried ice cream which entice me, so I did order a bowl. Is it very different flavor to have your ice cream covered in warm flakes; but it was a very delicious experience. I like to visit as many ice cream stores as I can, and they always get extra points for having homemade ice cream. As for Gravity ice cream, the reason I cannot recommend with five stars is the fact of subpar softserve, and not quite five-star milkshakes. If you're looking for a place to take the family is easy to get to, close to the lake, but be warned it is cash only. read more

Delicious! Vanilla soft serve is creamy and so much flavor. The flurry had plenty of candy and the vanilla Ice cream blended with hints of caramel undertones. The chocolate was as flavorful. Would highly recommend!! Cash only read more

Best ice cream spot in the state! $1.50 for a small swirl with rainbow sprinkles. Also, try the glacier!

Great ice cream stop! Soft serve sundae is always delicious and a mini is more Han enough if you've had a meal before. Shakes are very good too- flavorful and creamy. We even tasted the Italian ice to compare it to the #1 ranked place in NYC and it was pretty good. So many options you may have trouble choosing! read more

Awesome ice cream place. Finally, it was like finding a needle in a hay stack in this town, we found a place that was not only welcoming but it has amazing ice cream! The employee did a wonderful job in helping us decide what Ice cream to order. We ended up getting the birthday cake ice cream which we all enjoyed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who goes! Best ice cream in town! read more

I really like Gravity Ice Cream and Gravity Lanes (there's a bowling alley attached). They have great soft and hard ice cream, sundaes, flurries, shakes, as well as quick eats like burgers, chicken sandwiches, and french fries. Oh, did I mention they have dog ice cream? Oh yeah! When I lived in walking distance I'd take my pups there way too much! lol. Great place, and the people, Jenny and Martin, are super nice. (Jenny takes pics of people's dogs eating ice cream and they put them in a slide show in the window. hehehe.) The ice cream windows are open until 10 or 11 at night in the summer, I just wish the bowling alley were open as late. read more

Typical ice cream place nothing out of the ordinary. The staff are nice and you cant beat the price though.

Best soft serve around! We try to make it here a few times each summer. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly.
