Back when I had my '88 BMW 535is, it had a bunch of odd malfunctions that nobody else in town could figure out and though it took several weeks and repeated test drives by Rick and his mechanics, they found the problems were largely due to "repairs" done by my previous mechanics who didn't know what they were doing. Well Ricardo and his crew did it once again.. I am old and my BMW is almost as old. Take your money somewhere else ESPECIALLY if you're a woman. I dropped off my car because of a rattling noise when my car is on. I was told that the reason it was rattling was because i was low on oil and so they did an oil change and they couldn't find anything else wrong. So the owner let me know it was ready for pick up and I told him I unfortunately couldn't pick up but my cousin would he said that was fine. She picked up and paid and called me and told me he charged me $143.98, the rattling noise was still there, and my air conditioner wasn't working. He charged me $24 for oil and $110 for Labor plus tax. So I called him to inquire the amount & he said it takes a lot of time and efforts to run codes and clear them. When I finally got to drive my car sure enough, my air conditioner wasn't working and the noise was still there. Im a single mom and live in a different town and I had to drive myself and my 3 year old son in 105 degree heat for one whole hour while I cried wondering how people can take advantage of women. I got to a mechanic in my hometown to find out my refrigerant was COMPLETELY empty in my car in which I had to pay $60 to fill up.. the mechanic asked if I had issues with my air prior and I let him know it was working perfectly and it was never an issue and he said it's rare you have to use 3 cans to fill it up without having any issues prior. So moral of the story, DO NOT go here unless you want an over priced oil change and no resolution to your original issue and new problems once it gets back into your hands. First, and most importantly, this is an honest mechanic. I was told by Jim's fine car service that I needed new rotors in addition to brake pads and his quote was over 1,700.00 I brought my car here to Rick and he said the rotors were fine! That brought the grand total down to 800.00. If you have a german car out of warranty this is the place to come. read more

Spent over a grand on a car that is barely worth 2 grand to find out that they did not fix the problem I came in to get fixed. Granted diagnosing isn't an easy job but I think the mechanics or the guy behind the counter could do a better job diagnosing and communicating their lack of understanding. I couple weeks later I got it fixed from a guy who actually knows how to diagnose and not waste your money to much. Wouldn't recommend it to a friend! read more

I am a military member who was going cross country for change of duty station. My car's alternator died but I was able to make it to Albuquerque before the car died. Long story short I called different places but from the start this place follow up and helped me get out off town the same day. The final price charged was lower than the price given by other shops. But the main reason I picked them is because their customer service before I even drop the car. Lastly the car was ready early than expected. they knew about my predicament trying to get to my next duty station and they make it a priority. I found Rick's shop from a search after my Rover (Yeah, I know it's British but the transmission is German) was diagnosed with a transmission leak that my normal shop didn't work on. I had a referral to another local transmission shop so I got an estimate from them, the dealership and German Motorwerke. Rick was very prompt in getting back to me and was the lowest bid on the repair. I scheduled for a couple days later and took it in that morning and had it back that afternoon. The job involved a significant amount of work removing parts just to get to the problem. They got it done and I'm very happy. I believe Rick to be a honest mechanic because he even told me about a slight problem they had during the repair but they had taken care of it and didn't charge me for the extra effort it took to resolve this issue.
