There are a few things I want to list on why I gave a 5 star review. When I tell you this was the MOST pleasant, honest, hardworking, affordable, and THOROUGH job done that had me leaving satisfaction beyond words could describe. Beginning to end the staff was kind, informative, made me feel safe having my car in their hands with quality check after quality check, kept me up to date, and prioritized. As a woman that meant so so much because I know that I am afraid of going to car mechanic shops because of being taken advantage of but not here not at all. The safety in the entire experience alone deserved 10 stars. Sorry for the long review but just really wanted to highlight the absolute phenomenal work this shop does. Now my car is running better then before! Thank you again to advantage automotive for everything and Justin for his unbeatable service read more

We are from Ohio and my son is going to school in Albuquerque. His check engine light came on a few days ago. I called Advantage at the recommendation of a local auto parts store and spoke to James the owner. He was caring and made me feel comfortable as a parent especially being so far away. They got the car in the next day and took care of the issue promptly. They even came in $125 under the quoted estimate. Everyone was very friendly and treated my son with respect. I can't express the gratitude as a father who felt helpless a world away. You may not fully realize it but you were a blessing. Thank you! I highly recommend Advantage Automotive and will use them for all his future car care while in New Mexico. read more

This is by far the best shop I've ever been to. The customer service is outstanding, and you'll never have to worry about whether or not the job will be done correctly. Can't recommend Advantage Automotive enough. Bring your car here, you won't be sorry. read more

I went to a well-known tire company to get the tires balanced and rotated. They wanted to charge me $744 for a brand new set of expensive tires. So I looked up Advantage Automotive. Justin was very courteous on the phone and in person. They rotated and balanced the tires quickly. I am very pleased with their service. read more

Advantage Automotive has been instrumental in helping keep a 30 year old vehicle in great shape and operating to my satisfaction both electrically and mechanically. Advantage Automotive team is always straight forward in providing information, the fix required, and the cost. Great place for automotive needs. read more

Advantage automobile completed a brake job on my Ford Explorer. It was a job well done and reasonably priced. The best part of the experience was working with Justin and Megan. Both of them really work hard to make sure you feel like a valued customer. James can't be left out of the conversation either since he was very helpful. read more

I came in the other morning (I had an appt.) with a minor problem. The gentleman behind the reception desk fixed my car problem in 60 seconds. That was more than good enough. But the really great thing for me: I'm a very old woman (78 years old). Too many auto repair shops in the past have not treated me well. I also have a tendency to talk too much. This man treated me well, gave me his full attention, made me feel important, and answered my questions as though he didn't have anything better to do (and judging by all the cars in the parking lot and even out on the street, he certainly had better things to do). No wonder Advantage Automotive have been in business for so many decades and have SO many 5-star ratings on the Internet. Not to mention that Automotive Advantage actually fixes cars very well, with fair cost. In my whole driving life of 60 years, I've never gone to nearly as good a car repair shop like this one. I'm a customer for life (which, at my age, I realize isn't going to be much longer -- LOLOLOLOL -- what a lucky repair shop! LOLOLOLOLOL). read more

Team AA diagnosed my troubles within 24 hours, provided in-depth information needed to repair pickup, including total cost. I admired the Auto Tech's certifications, very impressive. Shop was clean, organized, and my pickup runs like a top. Thank you Advantage Automotive read more

I brought in my car for a new sensor and they were so friendly and professional. They gave me 2 options and did not try to sell the more expensive one. Service was fast. I use Advantage Automotive for my regular service needs as well because I trust them. read more

Fast, professional, effective, competent, FRIENDLY service at a great price... What more could you ask for! Highly recommend!

Brakes, battery, 60,000 service. Quick service. Bla,bla, bla, bla, bla, bla. 85 caracters

The dealership said I needed an alignment so I looked around for places to call for a price comparison. I chose Advantage Automotive because the price was right and it is close by. From first speaking on the phone with them, I felt my business would be welcome. While I was there, the staff was friendly, the shop was immaculate, and the owner was nice enough to show me his woodworking shop. Bottom line, they showed me the results that said I did NOT need an alignment! They did charge me for the time they had the car, which was perfectly reasonable. I highly recommend them. read more

Well this was my first experience with Advantage Automotive and had an unpleasant surprise on my bill. The repair required 2 items which came from NAPA with a retail price $308 each. I was billed a further 55 percent markup on each for $477. Owner indicated that this was a "standard" practice for his shop. Repairs were successful. read more

Today was the first time I've needed to use Advantage Automotive. Phone and in person conversations were most pleasant and made me feel confident in their knowledge. My car received its diagnosis and I was referred to dealer for a TSB issue. This is the cleanest automotive repair shop I've ever been inside. The service bays were actually not dingy gray but light and bright. Waiting room is huge, plenty of seating , loads of magazines and coffee if desired. Staff was most welcoming. I'll be there now for other services such as oil changes and routine maintenance. read more

Great group of guys here. James and David were very courteous and friendly. We needed our dash a/c repaired in our Winnebago and these guys fixed up in one day. The price was fair and they let us know the cost every step of the way. These guys have a great looking clean shop. I was very impressed. If you're in ABQ and you need RV or auto repairs go see James and David here at Advantage they won't steer you wrong. Thanks Advantage we sport the AWESOME service!! read more

David was very helpful. Even though he was unable to service my RV due to its age,he was nice enough to give me the phone number to someone who could help me out. Now that is amazing service! read more

I would like to thank all of the wonderful folks down at Advantage! I received the highest level of service and hospitality from everyone there and would take my truck back to them any time I need to. They treated both me and my beat-up 20 year old truck in an exceptional manner. The money I spent there represents one of the best values around, and dollar for dollar I received more for my money than than almost anything else I've bought this year. Seriously, THANK YOU! read more

Best most honest and reliable place in Albuquerque! I religiously take my car for all its repairs. John and the staff are amazing and trustable beyond expectations. read more

Took my Motorhome for the AC service on the dash/chassis AC. Very nice folks, took care of the problem, blows cold. Recommend!

Worked with John and Sharon to identify an oil leak that valvoline found a couple of months back. John looked over my vehicle and found some potential culprits, but advised not to change things until we knew for sure. He cleaned off a year's worth of grime caked on the oil filter adapter, got me my oil change and was very transparent about the whole process. He and Sharon were wonderful to work with. read more

We decided to try out this mechanic shop instead of taking it to a dealership, and we are so glad we did! We took our vehicle in on Tuesday afternoon, and it was done by Friday. David was super friendly and helpful, and he was very honest and upfront about what we would be paying. He explained what was going on with our vehicle in great depth, and we knew we could trust them. Also, I have never seen a shop floor as pristine as this one. Once all of the work was complete, we were extremely satisfied! We will definitely be going back for any other future needs! read more

I recommend this place to all my friends. The folks are professional, extremely knowledgeable, and the customer service is beyond reproach. It is the cleanest automotive repair shop I have ever been to and that says a lot. Just look at the floors in the photos; you don't often see floors that shiny in a automotive repair shop. I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

We have a 2007 Itasca Sunrise that has had trouble with the dash air conditioner for years. We lived in Alaska and though we had tried several times to get it fixed while visiting the lower 48 (not much need for it in anchorage), no one was able to successfully repair it. We are now living in the RV traveling the country and needed to have it repaired. I found Advantage Automotive during a websearch and the first thing that impressed me was a photo of the shop! It was so clean! I read their statement about air conditioner work and made my appointment (from Portland where we were having our motorhome windshield replaced....those damn Canadian roads and one truck driver going too fast). Anyway I spoke with John on the phone and right away felt confident in my decision to chose AA (Advantage Automotive). We meet with John and James at our first appointment and they are the nicest people. They explained what they were going to do, offered to show us the shop and said they would do everything they could to make sure we had the MH back for the night. Well they did. We had it back. The AC worked. They looked it over for other problems and advised us of a recall we had on the brake calipers. We already had another trip planned so made an appointment to get that done on the way back through. Well unfortunately we only got to use the air conditioner one time. It stopped blowing cold air again. I called John (spoke with his lovely wife Sharon) and told them about the AC. I just wanted to make sure there was enough time scheduled during the caliper replacement to work the AC again. They told me no problem they would look at it again. Well we got there for the second appointment and they found a part they had replaced had broke. They replaced it (no cost to me) and apologized for the trouble. They found another issue (which they suspected might have been an issue when they first looked at it, but didn't want to run up the bill when they weren't sure....it wasn't registering as a problem on their machine) which meant we would of had to stay another night so they could work on it the next day. And as it would be, we needed to get on the road so opted to have it fixed on our next trip through in January. So you might be thinking to yourself as you read this 'why would you give this place 5 stars...you had to go back and its still not fixed?'. I'll tell you why....good old fashion customer service and their honesty....that is why!! They are great people to work with and work hard to fix the problem. John and James went out of their way (though I have a feeling it is just their same work ethic everyday ) to show us the bad parts, explain what they were doing and calling us when they found a problem. They never just let the bill run up. They told us along the way what needed to be fixed and gave us an estimate for the repairs. No surprises. So we have found our go to guys!! And if you decide to use them, which I highly recommend, and you're there in January.....I just might see you! read more

John and James at Advantage have been incredibly helpful ever since we started employing their services 3 years ago. They are experienced, honest, and work with you to perform the most appropriate repair depending on the age of the car and the size of your budget. I am so confident in their ability and integrity, my daughter deals directly with them all the time now, even when she is out of town. If she needs car service while away at school, she calls Advantage up first to make sure the work she is getting done makes sense and about right cost wise. Just the other day, her electric window was not working after a battery change at Walmart. Walmart told her that her window was broken and she would need to get it repaired - a quick call to John and she was able to reprogram the window and all was good. They also have gone above and beyond during our purchase of a used car. Their knowledge, troubleshooting capability and personal connections throughout the city ensured our purchase was appropriate and the dealer was not screwing us over. I learned of Advantage from two friends of mine who praise these guys all the time. The shop is spotless, their breadth and depth of car knowledge is amazing, and they use all the latest equipment and internet sites to troubleshoot tough problems. read more
