Visiting from California and needed a good shop. Went to Sam to have my rear main seal replaced. I knew it had a leak at one time and assumed my leak was from there. I knew it was an expensive job so I was prepared. I told him I just needed it replaced. He called me and told me it wasn't that, and it would probably not fix my problem for him to charge me that and do the work if it wouldn't fix my problem. I appreciated his honesty and instead had my bearings replaced which he said did need to be changed. Saved about $1000 compared to what I thought it was and my car is now riding without any noises. I cannot recommend Sam highly enough! After weeks going back to the dealership assuring them I had an issue with my rear brakes in my 2016 BMW 328ixdrive, and them telling me nothing was wrong, they finally settled on a major repair to the tune of $6000 and 4-6 weeks waiting on a part from Germany. I did some quick research, called Sam, and had my car towed to him. While the dealership had the correct diagnosis, Sam did the work for less than 1/3 of the price and I was back on the road several days later. To top it off, when I went in to pick up the car, the final bill was $100 less than the original quote because he had been able to reuse an original part that he thought would need to be replaced! I just don't see that level of integrity much anymore. I will be a loyal customer at GP as long as I own my BMW. Highly recommend! read more

My 2018 VW GTI needed an oil change. The two VW dealerships in Albuquerque were not noted for providing quality service. So what was one to do? Consult Yelp, of course! I was really impressed with the ALL FIVE STAR YELP RATING at German Precision and made an appointment to bring in my vehicle and wait for the service to be done. I needed to wait, because I only own the one vehicle. My observation is that Sam does top notch work. He is thorough, unrushed and did an excellent job at an excellent price. From now on I will bring my GTI to him for service and bypass the sketchy dealer service departments at the two VW dealers in town. Sam is amazing. I have never had a mechanic explain things to me and in as much depth as Sam. He told me exactly what I needed, and didn't try to sell me on extras with my MB GLK 350 (as I have had done at other places). It is time to give a shoutout to a local business that went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I had initially taken my german vehicle to Hans Wittler for a basic oil change and overall checkup. Long story short, it went in without an oil leak but left with an oil leak. After calling Hans Wittler to get my car in they said they are booked for weeks and "I can drop it off but they don't know when they will get to it." They didn't care to help at all..... I called Sam at German Precision and even though he said he was also booked for weeks he told me he can look at it in between jobs that SAME DAY! He took care of my vehicle within 2 hours of dropping it off. Luckily, it was something minor but this shows the love and respect for his business and his customer service. To top it off, he didn't want to charge me since it was something minor (obviously I took care of him).
