I'm not even sure where to begin. Perhaps I will start with how awesome of a person the owner is and his staff is well-selected with the same credibility. Strong and integral work ethic. His finished "product", if you can call it that, was shocking and impressive. In more detail: As far as the service they provide, which is reflected by their work ethic, they turned a garage that had been housing rats, raccoons, squirrels, and opossums...along with lizards/skinks/snakes for over 30 years. The owner had been an elderly hoarder and had stopped shoving stuff in there when she could no longer lift the old wooden door. Yet, that door had rotted, couldn't close all the way, and had holes chewed through it. A welcoming environment for any critter. Edgar and his team kicked butt all day long in extreme 100-degree heat with high humidity. Everything was bacteria-laden and covered in pest feces and urine. They had to ward off weasel skinks and God-knows how many variations of spiders and species of bugs. One of the rats had even jumped at them, but it was par for the course and they just kept working. Edgar and his right-hand man removed everything from the garage, sanitized all items that were to be kept, completely cleaned and scraped until, not only the rat mess was gone, but also all of the dirt, dust, and cobwebs were gone; all safely vacuumed by a special, environmentally safe "shop-vac" of sorts. Once the garage was cleaned out and all of the items that were to be kept placed back in, Edgar fogged the area to further and deeper sanitize the space and contents. He also patched holes using some scrap wood that we had to help prevent re-infestation. Germ Control Services went above and beyond. Just the way other companies should! read more

Wish I could give 10 stars. Our kitten passed away from feline panleukopenia and we were very nervous to bring home another. Edgar was very informative of how the disinfection process works and truly went above and beyond. The service was reasonably priced, quick and efficient. I'm happy to report we brought home our new kitten and she's Panleuk free 3 weeks later. Edgar is awesome and I can't recommend his services enough!!! read more

I found Germ Control online, took a chance and it definitely paid off! I manage a Medical practice in Beverly Hills and we needed to prepare to reopen after closing due to COVID. When I called, I spoke to Edgar, he was very professional and I felt he was sincere in describing the benefits of having the facility sanitized. I text him photos of the entire facility and he provided a quote. His rate was $200-300 less than some of the other places I called. We scheduled an appointment, he was on time and finished within the time he told me it would take, again, very professional. About a week after the appointment, he called me to check in and make sure we were satisfied, which I appreciated as a new client. I feel very confident in recommending Edgar, he was very professional, kind and accommodating. read more

Edgar was professional and responsive. I received a quote and detailed explanation of his services. My company has 3 large facilities (100,000 sq ft or more) and his team came out Saturday and Sunday and performed the disinfecting and sanitation services as quoted. Took the time to explain again what needed to be done, and work was completed professionally. We will be using his services on a regular maintenance program going forward. read more

Loved his service, fast and quick turn around. Best pricing I got compared to others. Will definitely use him next time we need COVID disinfection. read more

I can't give enough positive feedback about Germ Control Services. We had rodent droppings all around the perimeter of our house. I was worried that my dog would become sick from the revolting rodent droppings and germs because she loved to look for lizards along the side of the house. Edgar answered my call immediately and then asked questions to help identify the source of the problem and what he would do to resolve our rat infestation. He gave me a quote over the phone and then followed up with a proposal via email. Edgar went above and beyond to remove the problem. Not only did he remove the shed where the rats had built their nest, but he also helped us find devices that we could put in place to deter the rats from building new nests in the future. Possibly above all, Edgar came out the very next day, a Sunday, to eradicate our problem and leave us with peace of mind and a happy poodle! read more

We recently had one of our employees contract COVID-19 and he had showed up to work. In order to take precautionary steps and alleviate any fears, we shut down the store and wanted to disinfect/sanitize the entire location. Edgar was very responsive, informative, and his pricing was very fair. He assured us that he has been doing this long before COVID-19 and other companies might be taking advantage of pricing and not properly disinfecting, which seemed true with the quotes I was being given. He immediately went out the next morning and completed the work. Thank you Edgar and team! We'll be sure to contact them with any future disinfecting needs. read more

Germ Control Services saved the day! I need help ASAP with a big mess caused by rodents in a basement of a rental property. Germ Control Services took care of everything. The whole process from proposal to payment went smoothly. I was unable to meet GCS on site, but that didn't matter. They got the job done. I was sent before and after photos. They had a big job to deal with and they left the space spotless. So thankful to Germ Control Services!! read more

Called and they came out the same day. Honest, fair and very reasonably priced. They did a job for half of the price that others quoted me. Save yourself the time of looking around for a bargain. I'd give 10 stars if I could!! read more

We had Edgar come in just before the Covid 19 pandemic had taken off here in California. We needed to protect our employees from what was to come and Germ Control Services is one of the only companies out there that offer Electrostatic Disinfecting which is the most affective way to clean any work/home environment. Whilst Edgar and his team were in our building cleaning our five floors I stopped by to see how it was going, they were being very thorough in making sure they got all workstations areas including all items at the workstations disinfected. We are extremely happy with the service Edgar provided and plan on having them come back. read more

If you want disinfection done right, I highly recommend this company. My attic was full of disgusting rodent droppings and germs. Edgar, the owner, has significant experience in this business, and he responded promptly and professionally. He led me patiently through the entire process and did not try to hard sell me. He has a very pleasant, educational-style approach. When finished, he e-mailed photos of his completed work. I feel confident I can now live in a germ-free environment! read more
