Listen - As a top performing real estate agent in Los Angeles I constantly get calls from clients in emergency situations and that are looking for advice in super high stress moments!! And thank goodness I found a team that I can trust, after using so many companies prior that take advantage of people and their emergencies, it's everything to have people you can rely on and that will TREAT YOU RIGHT. From their service to their quotes and follow up... you don't have to think twice about "who you're using" in that stressful situation. Lemore and her team always take care of me and MORE IMPORTANTLY they take incredible care of my clients. I've literally had 5-6 jobs in the past 2 months in the community I live in and every single time Lemore ANSWERS the phone 7am, 8pm.... Literally 7 days a week... like nobody does that anymore ... NOBODY!!!! She respond quickly, communicate clearly, and handle everything with a level of professionalism that gives me total confidence every single time I refer them. My name and reputation are on the line with EVERY SINGLE recommendation I make and honestly? It's incredibly comforting knowing I have the best restoration team on standby ready to step in right away, take control of the situation, and help me guide my clients through a very stressful experience. Aside from this, you can TRUST they will give you the BEST value and price from the moment they give you a quote... they will always take care of you!!! Thank you Lemore (and team!!) idk what i would do without you guys... anybody that has any questions can message or call me directly at (310) 308-6685. Matthew B. Top LA real estate agent

Scheduling was smooth and they showed up exactly when they said they would. Pricing was fair and clearly explained upfront -- no surprises, no pressure. They communicated every step of the way, so I always knew what was happening and what to expect next. What really stood out was the human side of their work. They understood that this wasn't just a job site -- it was someone's home and a difficult time for the family. They treated it that way. They also took the time to educate me about the specific issues that come with an unattended death situation, which helped me make informed decisions and gave me real peace of mind. The work itself was thorough and professional. If you're facing one of these situations -- and nobody plans to be -- Bio SoCal is exactly who you want in your corner. Highly recommend without reservation.

I can tell you that our experience with Alan and the team at Bio SoCal was everything and more that are stated in these reviews! We feel so fortunate that we chose them to help us after my uncle's death. With compassion and respect they handled everything and dealt directly with the insurance company for payment. With my sister being hours away from our uncle's home and me being out of state, it was such a blessing to find such an honest and trustworthy company to handle everything for us A to Z. To be able to communicate directly and efficiently with the owner of the company and not have to make multiple calls and explain to multiple people is such a rarity in business these days and puts them far ahead of the competition. Alan continued to keep us in the loop with the remediation as well as the contact with the insurance company. He carefully explained the process of the work as well as the insurance process to help us understand and know how to negotiate the insurance payout for replacement items. All in all, I obviously highly recommend this company!

I contacted several companies, and from the start Victor at 911 Bio Clean stood out by providing a thorough, detailed quote and explaining the process clearly. Communication was solid throughout everything was confirmed in writing and by text, and the online process for signing and payment made it easy. On the day of the job, Victor personally arrived with a site manager and crew. Even though the space was only 975 ft, the team came prepared: two trucks plus a van, and a U-Haul for trash removal. The entire crew was professional, friendly, respectful, and approachable. I checked in multiple times during the work day, and each time they showed me progress and asked if it met my expectations. They handled every request I had with a positive attitude and didn't hesitate to address even small extra tasks I included in the quote. They dealt with biohazard issues (including poop cleanup) with proper care and attention, and the result was beyond what I expected after such a difficult situation. Overall, I would highly recommend 911 Bio Clean Inc. for their professionalism, responsiveness, knowledge, and kindness in handling a very tough cleanup job.

"Multiple Layers" of Deception and Unprofessionalism…read more.. In my correspondence with Gene K., a representative of Scope Environmental (cut and pasted from Yelp chat room) mentions "We can definitely help. Our asbestos inspection, survey, and lab results pricing is very competitive. It's $625 for the inspection and report. Each sample is $35. No other fees. Generally, results and reports will be available within 24-48 hours". Gene K. also mentioned the following "Some samples have multiple layers, and that can not be determined prior to taking the physical sample. You are welcome to call in so that you can properly comprehend the procedures". However, UNDISCLOSED FEES can creep into the price charged to the customer, e.g. such as the need to test "multiple layers" of one material; so, "No other fees" is (deliberately) misleading and therefore, deceptive. A field inspector (Daisy Flamenco) of Scope Environmental, arrived at the project site and upon seeing the area that needed sampling, asked the homeowner for a ladder to get her modest stature to the sampling material areas. When sampling the ceiling, Ms. Flamenco was barely able to reach the sampling surface (needed to be on her tippy toes), even with a step ladder (provided by the homeowner). ALL sample takers must come fully prepared for all conditions at the work site and not rely on the homeowner to provide tools, equipment or assistance of any kind to do THEIR job! Ms. Flamenco was dressed casually, no respirator or other appropriate protective equipment or gear, which is not only hazardous to herself, but sends the message to the homeowner (overseeing the work), that asbestos is really not that harmful. Even two and a half years following the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is appropriate if all workers who enter a home, to wear a mask or at least offer to wear one, but Ms. Flamenco failed to show the occupants of the residence, such consideration. Most (professional) people return to bad pre-pandemic habits, even if to protect the home's occupants from the common cold. What is really inconsiderate and unprofessional, is that Ms. Flamenco had disturbed suspected asbestos containing materials by scraping and cutting away material from parts of a furnace and its ducts, leaving the furnace and ducts out-of-order, i.e. if no asbestos or other harmful materials were found, the furnace and ducts could not be safely and effectively used without first repairing them. Leaving carcinogenic materials exposed (cutting, scraping or otherwise removing and exposing asbestos) to those who live at the work site, is hazardous and unprofessional and should never be done this way. Exposing harmful materials puts people and animals at risk of exposure to carcinogens and asbestosis causing particles! Asbestos sample takers should take measures to seal or otherwise cover, exposed asbestos containing materials (when they are through sampling them), to protect home occupants. This experience was a wake-up call to how incompetent workers can make a bad situation, worse!

I called at 10am to confirm, since they hadn't sent a confirmation message--and dispatch said they'd be there in about a half hour. I waited. I called again after an hour and a half, at 11:30. They said they were running behind schedule, and asked what my afternoon looked like, then if I could reschedule to the next day. I said no, I'd like to cancel. They said to hold on, and that they'd call me back right away with dispatch to see how quickly they could get out. They said "in a few minutes" they'd call me back. A bit over an hour later, I get a call back saying they may be able to make it out a little after 1pm. I cancelled.

They would send someone out for a "free evaluation." After the technician arrived, I was quoted $550 just to perform basic snaking through an accessible cleanout, with the higher price explained in part because it was considered an emergency service. I declined the work and had to leave my tenants with a full blockage until I resolved with someone else the next day. For comparison, the following day I hired another licensed plumbing company that hydrojetted the sewer line and completely resolved the blockage for $400 total. Hydrojetting is a more extensive service than basic snaking, yet it still cost significantly less than Roto-Rooter's quote. I understand that emergency service can cost more, but I found the lack of pricing transparency before dispatch and the $550 quote for basic snaking a system they have in place to pressure. On top of that, the "fiewld expert" called me the next day, I thought he called me to apologize. Instead he tried to sell me a cleaning service for the spill in the house. I said no and told him that I was disappointed with their service. He said "that's the way we do business, you don't have to use us now or in the future". Easy decision, I won't.
