Maria made everything at Gerber go as smooth as possible when it came to our Dodge Challenger and the repairs that were done. Her Customer Service stood out from Day 1 when we brought in our car for assessment to 10/2/26, the day we came in to p/u our car after repairs were completed. She was personable, friendly, caring, thorough, efficient, and communication was on point! She got hold of me via, calls, texts, as well as the phone. Everything she mentioned on in regard to the work order did not stray (other then the manufacturer did not make the front end bumper w/ a black stripe no longer). Grateful that she was our estimator. Maria is truly the best! She cares about her customers. A couple other examples in regard to Maria and her Outstanding Customer Service include, when she had contacted me on Wednesday that our vehicle would be ready by 430pm on Wednesday, I emailed her and let her know, that due to my Mother-in-law's funeral/burial on Thursday, 10/1...our schedule would be very very tight to p/u our vehicle would be challenging. She responded first w/ condolences and said we could p/u our car on Friday (like I asked on my email). Maria showed try empathy to "us" her customers. On Friday, 10/2/26, when we picked up our vehicle this afternoon. She walked my wife and I through what was done on our Dodge Challenger and asked if we had any questions? It was at the end of our interaction, that truly showed more Great Customer Service. She shared her condolences w/ my wife for the loss of her mother and gave my wife a hug. Wow! You are appreciated by at least these 2 Gerber customers Maria! Thank you very much and keep doing what you're doing! (I failed to recognize the young gentleman who checked us in Friday right around 12pm. He too was friendly and answered all our questions there at the shop, as well as when I had called the shop to inform Maria that we were running a little behind on the return of our rental/pick up of our vehicle. Appreciate your efforts as well) Thank you everyone at Gerber. O'Niel & Emily Elder read more

Went in on my scheduled appointment. Was greeted and helped right away. They went over what they were going to do. Did a check list. She told me when the car would be done. Approximately 2 weeks. It was done in 1 and a half weeks. Fast and easy pickup. Totally happy with them, they were very professional from start to finish. read more

Service was extremely slow. I had to wait more than a month just to get an estimate. Gerber never once contacted me during the process. I had to contact them several times to get an estimate appointment, an update on parts, a date to drop the car off for repair, etc. The only time they contacted me was when they were done for pick up and payment. The person who damaged my car lives far away and the insurance paid all but a $500 dollar deductible. They were happy to pay the $500 over the phone, but wanted to confirm their insurance agent first. Gerber was unwilling to wait until first thing the next morning. After making me wait three months they were unwilling to keep the car one more night. I will never give them my business again. I had a much better experience at K W Auto Body. I am only giving them one star because zero stars is not an option. read more

Was a no Brainer for me as I knew I was going to have a hard time matching the tint currently on my windows. Kudos to Bill who also told me that Leeward Glass could do it faster and informed me that they wouldn't be able to exact match my tint. He even cleaned up and wrapped my window for me at NO CHARGE! 1 Star Terrible experience from start to finish. I made an appointment, took off work early, and showed up -- only to be told I didn't have one. Had to reschedule. At my second visit, Heather did my estimate but gave me no paperwork to sign and never followed up. I submitted my form on 9/22, and no one ever contacted me. When I called weeks later, they said they couldn't find my name and had closed my case. When I finally spoke with Heather again, she was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. She blamed me for not "replying all" on an email and even told me I could go somewhere else. This place has zero communication, zero accountability, and absolutely no Aloha. Embarrassing for a local company. Customer service and communication are clearly not what this company represents. With so much competition and other options out there, you'd hope employees representing the company would show more professionalism and basic customer service skills. read more

I am very impressed with the service I received at Gerber Collision Waipahu. They were a recommended partner shop for my insurance, and they truly came to the rescue after someone hit my 2017 Honda Accord Sport SE while it was parked. I'm usually wary of the estimate process--I always worry a shop will underestimate damage with a 'we can just buff that out' attitude. However, Asialee was fantastic and performed a thorough evaluation of my Accord, correctly deciding that the rear bumper needed a full replacement. The timeline was incredible: Friday (2/20): Estimate Wednesday (2/25): Drop-off for repair Friday (2/27): Repair complete! I've never had such a quick turnaround from a repair shop. They took excellent care of my vehicle, even giving it a quick wash (poor thing suffers from landlord-induced water spots), and got it back to me in less than five days. That is amazing. Special shout-out to Nick and the front desk team for guiding me during my first visit. Also, a huge thank you to the tech who started processing my vehicle on the day of the drop off (didn't get his name, but he had a very cool, quiet vibe)--credit must be given to the guys in the back who put in the labor. Trust that you are visible to us customers! The Gerber Waipahu team is professional, friendly, and they treat your vehicle like it's their own. If my Honda ever needs 'emergency' TLC again, they will 100% get my business. read more

Our repair work experience with Gerber was a pleasant one. Maria was great at keeping us informed on any updates, she was very prompt in getting back to us on any questions or concerns. Once the parts came in, our car was ready earlier than expected. All staff I came in contact with were professional, helpful and friendly. They dealt with my insurance efficiently and I didn't have to do any follow ups during the whole process. Would definitely recommend, mahalo Maria and the Gerber team! read more

I went in for an estimate a week ago. Estimator sent me home and said she would email estimate to me by the end of the day. I got nothing. Followed up on Friday they told me by the end of the day again. Still nothing. Called and left voicemails and emails with no response. Finally talked to someone today and they apologized and said the estimator was out of office. I asked for a timeline of when I would have the estimate and the girl on the phone couldn't give me one. Huge waste of time. UPDATE: I appreciated Jessica's response and decided to try to make it through the process to get my car fixed. After 17 days of trying to get answers I finally got to speak to someone today. Only to be sent an estimate and then when I went to schedule repairs was told they can't fix my "European" car. Funny enough there were cars the same model as mine in worse condition at the shop when I got my estimate done. Like I said before, don't was your time. This whole experience was so unprofessional and disappointing. They could have just told me this day one. read more

Infinity stars!! Excellent from start to finish! Constant communication unlike Unibody they are the worse!! Unibody took my deductible upfront and then didn't hear from them for weeks! kept calling never called me back until i complained to Geico. Sent me to Classic Bodyworks for another estimate but they are not Tesla certifued ... Shucks!! then ended up at Gerber and it was awesome!! so glad Unibody failed me! Davlyn and the team did an exceptional job!  My car was in an accident and Sigs was a recommended body shop.  What a blessing it was because Davlyn was on top of the whole process.  Initially she took detailed photos of the car which we would not have known to take. Photos shown are from my camera.  They provided periodic updates and repaired the car 5 days earlier than promised! When we received the car you can tell which side was repaired because it looked pristine compared to the other side.  Sigs also delivered the car clean both inside and out which was a pleasant surprise.  Normally some shops only deliver the car fixed but as is.  We told Davlyn that although we appreciated her services, it would not be good to see her again because that means something needs to be repaired!  I would highly recommend Sigs to anyone that needs body work both out of pocket or through insurance. read more

This will be my first ever review that isn't good...as i don't like to leave these kind feedbacks. But it needed to be said. I got into an accident where the driver hit the driver side of my car. The damage needed for the bumper to be replaced as well as a few others parts (rims included). The entire process was estimated to have taken a months or so. It was re estimated to be a little more leaded up to the pick up date. Which was understandable considering that parts needed for my car had to be ordered in and in most cases it would be out of the shops control. My experience from the beginning was good up until the date of pick up. I've had my entire week scheduled for the day of pick up (requested off from work) later to find out that Gerber Collision at Waipahu. Still needed more time to complete the painting part of the repair. 1-2 days later i've spoke with the rep for then to confirm that my vehicle was finally ready for pick up. On my way to work I communicate to them that i would not be able to that day due to my schedule and that i will be working a full shift for the next new days and would not be able to come in to retrieve my car. As I've already initially scheduled in advance for the initial date of pick up. I was told that i would be charged with a storage fee if i do not come in to pick up my vehicle...which is upsetting, considering i was flexible and was being very considerate with the shop. I've had to call off of work and miss out on my pay just to come in to pick up my car. When i've arrived to do a walk through on the area where it was worked on, everything seems good up until i noticed the area near my censor area was lifted(could be due to the censor being pushed in after everything was painted). I've pointed this area out to the rep, and they offered for me to drop my car back in to have them repaint the bumper and fix their mistake. I've left with my car, and a few hours later I've noticed that my car was losing pressure on the tire where it was hit. This caused for the bottom on my front bumper to be scraped (very visible). I've filled the tires and checked for signs of punctures(but there were no holes of nails). The tire continue to lose pressure and had to be inflated multiple times leading up to my next drop of date. When i got back to the shop. I've spoked with one of the manager and noted to him (white hair guy) the situation and ask for them to also check the tire where my vehicle was hit because it kept losing air in turn causing for my bumper to be scape. He told me that it was not their problem as soon as the car left the lot...this i don't understand, because if the job wasn't done right and it caused for the tire to lose pressure and my bumper being scape as a result. How is that not apart of your responsibility??? I just asked that that part of the bumper to also be repainted since it was a direct result of your careless work. He later said that they'll just have a look at the tire, but nothing could be done for the scape on my bumper... I've left my car. On the day of pick up. I've came to see that my bumper has been redone...and lo and behold, when they've checked my tires i was told that there were a screw that needed to be tighten, which was why the tire was losing pressure?? I was not surprised by this, as i've really had no problems with my tires prior to the incident. And conveniently enough it was the side that got hit too... The scape was painted over, no apologies from the manager who initial denied my concern...just left with my car. Only reason for my 2/5 is because of the friendly front desk staff..and just glad to finally have my car back. read more

We recently had the pleasure of working with Gerber Waipahu (Maria & James in particular), following damage done to our car (hit & run) while parked at Costco. Our insurance company suggested Gerber, when their 1st body shop recommendation informed them that they couldn't repair the damaged parts, and that replacement would be needed. From the beginning we felt like we were given realistic estimates for the various aspects of the repair process. When it was found that additional parts would need to be ordered, we were immediately informed of the potential for a significant delay. Fortunately, the Gerber folks found that they had the parts already in their possession, and were able to expedite our repair process. We ended up picking up our car earlier than even the first estimate, which went as smoothly as could be imagined. Everybody was polite, friendly, respectful and helpful. The repair looks great, and our car is once again back home where it should be. read more

Maria and the team at Gerber Collision & Glass in Waipahu are family at this point. In the last 3 years I've needed 3 vehicles repaired and the already outstanding service gets better and better each time. I don't like to make a habit out of damage to my vehicles, but the accidents seem to find me, even when I'm sitting in my parked vehicle and a speedy driver pulls in and tags me. I didn't hesitate to call Maria and get an estimate and they completed the work within days. Maria messaged me at every stage of the repair with a significant amount of details. Always friendly, always EXTREMELY responsive. At this point I'm going to refer to this Gerber location as "Maria's". The level of effort she puts in to ensuring you are satisfied with the process and experience at "Maria's" is authentic and removes any stress from the process. Thank you...again...for making everything efficient and easy!!! read more

These guys do a great job fixing your car! The problem is they're severely overpriced. But it really doesn't matter because they are charging your insurance company not you you only have to pay the deductible. But think about it in the long run, these guys do excellent work, but normal rates for the jobs. They do are nowhere near the price that they are charging! They replace panels where are even trying to fix them and save money. Do you have a dent on your fender? The shopping cart dent? You're going to get charged for a whole new fender instead of a possible Paintless dent repair that cost 50 bucks. read more

I took my car to have an estimate done for what I thought would be paint repair. My estimator wanted to try to see if the scratch/rub mark could be buffed out before giving an estimate for paint repair. They were able to remove all the scratches and rub mark! This auto repair shop is trash. I dont recommend them at all. They do sloppy work and will take all your money. They constantly deny doing anything wrong and will just talk around in circles until you just leave so they dont have to correct their sloppiness. They will break their own policy to take your money but then rely on the same policy to not fix the problems they created on your vehicle. They left wires hanging out of my vehicle and claimed they didn't do it. They dont know how to connect the foglights so now they dont work anymore. They claim they didn't do that either. Canceled! Got told yesterday that Gerber Waipahu will not be servicing me anymore because I "could never be satisfied," as related to me by their General Manager, Ms. Brenna Franco... But of course, she ignored the fact that I was a loyal customer going back 20 years with more than a half-dozen cars serviced at her shop... All with positive experiences and feedback! But the real reason, according to their Production Manager, Billy, was that I gave them a bad review of the work. Of course I did... And it was well deserved! Here's another one for you, Billy! When they last worked on my car, they delivered it to me with the dents painted over... The work had to be redone and they probably made little or no money on the work. But what really frazzles me is, at their final delivery of my car to me, their hired mechanic failed to look into a mechanical issue that I was concerned about and when he did, he totally missed that the front suspension was damaged! With the backup of Ms. Franco, he refused to do anymore investigative work. My insurance company, USAA, had to send my car to their competitor Autocraft and they found the damage. So, give a bad review - even if it's well deserved - and get cancelled! Stay away from these guys! The quality of their work has gone south since Gerber acquired Sigs! read more

Would not recommend this place to fix anything on your vehicle! Where to start.... First off they looked at my vehicle for like 10 secs, ordered parts... then waited two weeks, and still didn't notify me that one part was on back order... I had to stop by the shop and ask a third time when I was told oh well nothing we can do. So I got upset, used some choice words... we are adults and this is America... No? So I leave go to Cutter Jeep and low a behold the part that Gerber could not get was in stock... ! So after calling back and forth and back and forth Gerber says because I was upset and they did not like me being angry they were no longer going to work on my car... Isn't it funny how crappy customer service is turned around and blamed on the customer.... Lmao read more

Nice try JESSICA!!!!! But nothing was done except him asking me one question about YOUR "Gerber Automated Text messaging system"when I picked up my vehicle after being stranded without a vehicle for 3 days due to the miscommunication of your employees who answer the phones! A follow up call that same day of trying to pick up my vehicle, from Sean to make sure I was able to get back into my rental would have been nice because at that point is when he would have found out I was NOT ABLE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH MY CLAIMS REP BECAUSE SHE WAS DONE FOR THE DAY! And a loaner should have been offered from Sean at that point! It's your text messaging system that you guys send out to customers and you all should know exactly how it works but apparently not even the GM knows how it works! Get it together! read more

My car was rear ended 5 months after I bought it brand new and was scheduled for repair here. The repair took an extra 5 days because more damage was found after inspection, but Maria sent me a picture of the extended damage unseen until bumper was removed. I know sometimes it's frustrating for a customer to accept a delay in any car repair but extra problems and parts availability by a 2nd party can't be helped by any means.
