There is alot of parking on their lot and it does fill up. Inside the store is packed with all kinds of stereo and car audio and alarm merchandise The staff is pretty cool and straight forward. I would guess (have been out of the stereo world along time) their pricing is decent and affordable judging by the foot traffic and stuff they have packed inside. We have never had any issues with their installs or merchandise and if we did they seem to be the type of business that would handle it with integrity and purpose...

When a crack appeared on the foam surround, I brought it back expecting help with a warranty claim. Before even looking at the sub, the owner muhammad, immediately dismissed me, claiming it must have been "hitting something." I explained there was more than enough clearance and invited him to take a look for himself. He walked outside, glanced at it for barely 5 seconds, and said, "Yeah, sorry, nothing we can do. Rockford has a different warranty than brands like Kicker. You could buy a new one though." Guess what? I reached out directly to Rockford Fosgate myself. Within 24 hours, Rockford inspected photos of the sub and fully approved the warranty replacement. Elite Audio couldn't even be bothered to do basic homework for a customer who already spent $1200 in their shop. They aren't interested in helping you after you walk out the door--just in selling you another unit. Take your money to a shop that actually backs what they sell, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

A shop that talks you out of spending more money with them is a shop you trust with everything else they tell you. He backs it up with real knowledge too. Pulled up manuals, diagrams, walked me through the specs on my EV's system like it was second nature. I left knowing more about car audio than I ever expected to, and I walked out with a professionally installed subwoofer that sounds fcking incredible. Sherwin did a lot of the install work and was just as sharp. Careful, communicative, clearly takes pride in the work. At one point he found some moisture under my carpet completely unrelated to what he was working on, and instead of just closing it back up, he flagged it immediately with photos and video so I could get it looked at. I cannot believe how well this business is run. It's successful for a reason. If you're in Aiea and thinking about upgrading your sound, STOP LOOKING and go see Bill. On the day of my install, the staff were quick to get me in and out and went into detail to reassure me of what was being installed. They were so gracious and they communicated well when my previously installed equipment (totally my fault) needed some TLC due to corrosion and a few missing parts. They took care of all the extra work and didn't charge me extra. Upon pickup I thought I would just be driving off with my newly upgraded set up but they spent the time having me sit in the car and play it out to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with the tuning and setup. They even removed the seat to further continue tuning the audio just to my liking. My other half brought his truck in for a sound system installation, and while we initially only stopped by for a quote after shopping around all day, Chris's expertise sold us. He was incredibly patient, taking the time to explain the pros and cons of our ideas and offering suggestions to make the final result even better. He also kept us updated throughout the entire process, so we were never left in the dark. What really set them apart was the extra mile they went. Even though Chris was only hired for the audio, he noticed several issues with a train horn we had installed at a completely different shop. He discovered the compressor was running continuously and, upon further investigation, found multiple hazardous mistakes from the previous installation.
