Our tint on the back windshield was bubbling and we couldn't pass the safety inspection. Ray was able to remove the old tint and replace it with new tint the very next day. Fast, affordable and friendly! Ray got the job done and we passed inspection. Thank you Ray! read more

Called Ray after finding his business on Yelp, and he was willing to fit me into his schedule same-day! He even offered to meet me at my work place to get the work done. The price was fair and the communication was quick and easy. No push to upsell me on a more expensive film, and real he's a real friendly person. Had my front 2 windows tinted and out on the road in less than half an hour. Would definitely recommend coming here! And I will be back in the future for other tint work. Thank you Ray read more

Ray's tinting - Car Window Tinting Near Me - Pearl City, Hawaii

Took my daughter's van in to have all her windows tinted. It was peeling and woukd not pass a future safety inspection. I had my Honda Accord done with Ray 2 years ago and still looks as good as new. I knew his work was top notch quality and the price is always reasonable and he backs his work. It's great value and quality for the money and Ray is a hard working honest guy. If you are thinking of getting your vehicle tinted, this is where I go and think you'll be very pleased with your results! read more

Ray's Tinting is the one! If you're looking to tint your brand-new car, remove and re-do, seriously, go to Ray's Tinting. I reached out to a bunch of places for info and pricing, and Ray got back to me super fast. He answered all of my 21 questions (lol) with no problem and was really easy to talk to. I had just picked up my new Tesla and told him we'd be heading straight to his shop. It was a busy weekend for him (which says a lot about how popular he is). As soon as we pulled up, he greeted us and took time to explain next steps. There's a seating area if you want to wait while he works, or you can just drop off your car. What really impressed me is that Ray hand-cuts every tint to fit your specific windows, no machines involved. His precision and skill show that he has truly mastered his craft. Less than two hours after we dropped the car off, it was done. And wow, what a difference! The tint looks amazing, and you can really feel the quality. No heat coming through the windows at all. Trust me, give Ray a call, ask your questions, and if you end up booking with Ray, you won't regret it! Next, we plan to schedule an appointment to do our front window, as well as to re-do our Tacoma. Thank you, Ray! read more

My brother recommended Ray to replace my tint that was bubbling. So convenient!!! Called him to make an appointment on Friday and he took me in first thing Monday morning. He repaired my tint right in his garage, and there was an area with chairs where you wait while he's doing your tint. Super fast and he's very nice and professional!!!!! Much Mahalo for making this an easy, convenient and pleasant experience! read more

Very nice man. Tint job was fast and reasonable. Convenient location in pearl city. Would definitely bring my other cars here.

Ray was great! I wouldn't hesitate to go back to him. He was really easy to talk to and to schedule with. For only removing tint off of 3 windows, he and his friend were done within 20 minutes. Super quick! No damage to the window defroster either, which is a big thing. It was $60 for the job. Up to you to decide if that's fair but I had no complaints with paying for a good job, speed, and his friendliness. read more

Ray's tinting - Ray installing ceramic on front windshield of 2023 Tesla model 3 to protect the interior against UV rays. - Car Window Tinting Near Me - Pearl City, Hawaii

I stumbled across Ray's Tinting after doing a Google search for "car tinting near me." I actually sent my initial quote request to another tinting company, but Google has this neat feature where they take your same request and ask if you want to send it to other merchants. So simple. Ray's was on that list. About an hour later, I got my quote from Ray's. About an hour after that, I was confirming my appointment. At 8 am the next day (which was a Sunday), I was parking my car at Ray's. Around 9:45 am, Ray calls and tells me my car is done! Ray was quick, friendly and professional. I definitely recommend him! My quote was for a 2002 4Runner. I wanted 35% on the front two windows, 5% on the back three (or five if you count the triangles separately). read more

Ray responded to my request in a very timely manner, gave me a fair price, gave me an appointment and his location. Everything went smoothly. They did a great job, and it was super quick! I was actually late picking my car up because they were done ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Ray and his team. Fantastic experience! read more

Tint had to be redone due to not being done well the 1st time. You pay for what you get. I'd go to TNT next time.

Worst tinting experience EVER. Price was cheap, but painfully learned that you get what you pay for. Booked an appointment, showed up on time and Ray and his team of two young boys were just getting started on a car that was late for the previous appointment slot. Waited an hour and a half to get my car started on. Guess that's the price of not being late got my tint done, and once the water bubbles disappeared my detailer noticed debris in between the tint and glass. Messaged Ray about it and was told that was normal (see screen shots of texts). Ray offered to redo the windows so I booked an appointment. Day of appointment, I texted him at 2:05 on the day of to confirm we're good for my 3pm appointment. He said yes (see screenshots). Once again, showed up on time and what do you know?! He's JUST getting started on another car that he supposedly "didn't know about". I asked for a refund, then Ray said he has to remove the tint. Okay, that's understandable. BUT he left lots of sticky residue on the windows, all in the base of the window AND didn't even remove the tint of the back smaller windows of my 4runner because he said it would ruin the reception for my radio read more

Ray previously did my Tacoma and now has tinted my Ridgeline. Excellent work with quality ceramic tint. Great work and value for money.

Took our brand new 2021 Tahoe and 2022 Camry to Ray. Very good and clean work! Love that he also plays Christian music while we wait.

We recently moved to the island from California where the window tint laws are a lot less restrictive. Tried to get our safety inspection done for the registration and failed due to the window tint being too dark. We called around to maybe 6 or 7 shops, and finally found Rays. Just my luck, Ray had just had a client cancel and he was able to take care of me immediately. Once I met Ray I knew that I had made a good decision. Ray is extremely pleasant and has been tinting since 1985. You can see his level of professionalism if you watch him. Ray did a great job on my car, and I'd recommend him to anyone who needs car tint! read more

I needed a quote for a redo tinted on my car. I search Yelp for any recommendations. I received five and Ray's tinting was one of them. I requested for a quote using the Yelp app. Ray's tinting was first to respond. I gotta a call . Ray's gave great insight and customer service and quote is what I was willing to pay.
