I went in kind of late on a Sunday, just before they were about to close. Somehow, my wife had lost my installation kit for her Ford edge. I had done most of the work already running wires, etc. attaching the radio, but I needed that kit and I also had trouble getting my rearview camera to work. Even though it was like 20 minutes before they were supposed to close, they jumped in and helped me out after I bought a new installation kit and antenna adapter. My boyfriend called and was able to bring in his vehicle that same day for an alarm system. They finished before they closed and when we went to pick up there was an issue with turn signals. Head unit and a speaker in my truck died trying to give me the sound I was looking for. Since I had such a good experience at this place for my other truck (Mahalo Sammy!) I though I'd hit them up again. Dropped by this morning without an appointment and was helped by Raj (sp?). I explained the problem and he was able to quickly diagnose it and provide options on the spot. We ended up with a top-rated Pioneer head unit (sold out on Crutchfield) and Alpine speakers, with every thing installed in about 2 hrs. He patiently explained how everything worked, since it has all the bells-and-whistles, and let us test it out. Very pleased with the outcome! It's a kickass system that pounds, with a quick and neat install. The cherry on top was the great price for everything we got. Good quality/service/gear, good price, and quickly done. The auxiliary jack (where you plugin your phone or MP3 player to listen to music) on my car suddenly broke out of nowhere after 5 or 6 years of having my car. I called Toyota to see how much it would cost to fix it, and they said it was $160 just for them to LOOK at it and run "diagnostics". Then another $x amount to actually fix it. No thank you! It was much cheaper to just get a brand new stereo deck that was a MAJOR upgrade from my stock deck. How did I live without bluetooth for this long? Professional Auto Stereo is really affordable and they have really good service. They've been in service for years, although they've moved around (their new location is by Tanioka's in Waipahu--they used to be by Nanding's). They also offer security systems, and they are coincidentally where I got my security system installed when I first bought my car. The new shop is much bigger than I remember, has a nice couch to wait on, and is A/C. It's next to Tanioka's and across the street from Elena's, so your food options while you're waiting are great. I liked that the owner didn't try to pressure me into buying a certain audio deck. I hate when people pressure you into buying things you don't want or need. I suggest going early when they open at 10 AM for the quickest service. To get my stock deck replaced to a new one with custom housing took only 45 minutes. He also fixed my alarm button for my car that stopped making the chirping sound a while back. So thankful to have upgraded and to not have to be subjected to Hawaii's radio stations any longer. read more

Sam and his installers are awesome. I was NOT in the market for any upgrades to my sounds. I'm to old to be blasting out. But I bought a 2016 Tacoma from Acura in December, only 23K Miles on it! I was greeted by the worker in the building and he was really helpful when helping choose a stereo deck. I decided to go with a double din pioneer deck model (FH-720) so that i wouldn't have an empty space on my dash. When i picked my stereo, I was told that installation would take 30mins to install. I also made a small request to remove or hide exposed wiring from another previous amp which wasn't a problem to them. Less than an hour passed and they completed the install and my request for the exposed wiring. The person who did the installation showed and explained to me everything that was done. Today was a day well spent relaxing while jad, Sam and the rest of the boys here at professional audio installed some boom in our vehicles. From the time we got here till we left it was an experience. We recently purchased a used vehicle with a sound system already installed but I think the previous owner took out his already updated sound system and gave up the car or surrendered it. The sub wasn't pushing hardly any bass. Tried trouble shooting it for a few days and couldn't figure it out! That's when we figure we should turn to the professionals. Prior to arrival we called and asked if they would do a diagnostic and jad asked what was goin on. I replied with our problem and he quickly said to come by and they can take a look at it and that it'll be fast. H1 east and 20 minutes later we arrive at professional audio in Waipahu off of Farrington hwy. They quickly diagnosed it and replaced the amp. With the thought in mind of upgrading the system in our other car, we decided to travel back home to Waianae to switch cars and come back. As soon as we got there, they told me to pull into the bay and started working on it. Not to mention they have a really comfortable waiting area we even had breakfast and lunch there. About hour and a half later, they pulled up in front with my truck and I was soo anxious!! Brother gave me my keys and I went outside to check it out....... Check your amp install. My speaker wires were loose and amp was not screwed down and secure. They sold me over priced head unit, speakers and amp. Amazon is way cheaper same brand names new. I went with them because I did not want to insatll it. After looking and fixing there installation, I am better off doing it myself for half the price. At least I know it is done the right way at a reasonable price. read more
