I was supposed To go to Safelite, according to my insurance company USAA, Safelite made an appointment for me to change my Auto Glass 3 1/2 weeks in advance. The day before my glass and my appointment they called me and said they used to make another appointment four weeks in advance! By now it was gonna be two months and I couldn't drive my car! Thankfully, Ace Auto Glass came to the rescue! Yes, I had to order through the dealership my OEM glass. It turns out that Safelite wanted to get there aftermarket cheap glass and that was what was causing the delay. I was able to get OEM windshield within seven days through Ace! Don't believe the hype! Don't ever use safelight! I am forever, a customer of Ace Auto Glass! read more

Excellent service and exceptional work performance. Delivered as promised. Easy access.

Came here to check car windshield which I thought was leaking. The shop foreman took a look at windshield and interior and determined it to be most likely a small pinhole rush spot on my roof and would likely not get fixed by them replacing the factory windshield which he also said usually doesn't fail from seals. He was nice enough spend about 30 minutes to inspect my car for free. No charge and he didn't even get work out of it. I definitely recommend a business that will do that and cares about customers or future customers like that. Fast forward a couples months my car ending up kicking the bucket and I traded in the problem for a new car. But I will definitely come here if I have any windshield or glass problems in the future as they are a honest local business. read more

Sent an email on the weekend, got a response early morning of Monday. Very quick and was able to get an appointment right away. They had my car model window in stock and the quote they gave me was way less than other places... especially the dealership service side. 2nd time having my car broken into, thank you ace auto for a smooth window fixing, waited less than 2 hours to get my car back. read more

This happened a while ago but I am only now posting. My driver side windshield of my Tacoma got smashed in right in front of my house! What was more upsetting was all they stole was some change and a flashlight! But the bright side was Ace auto glass. I was already shook and also worried that this was going to take all day and cost me an arm and a leg but to my surprise not only was Ace Auto Glass able to accommodate me that day, and the replacement wasn't as expensive as I expected. It wasn't dirt cheap, but it didn't break the bank. I went to the Waimalu location and the staff was really friendly and accommodating. They had my window in stock! The Waimalu location is conveniently located next to restaurants and the Waimalu shopping center is right across the street so I ended up grabbing some food while I was waiting and it wasn't a long wait at all. They had my window installed lickety-split! Overall Ace Auto Glass made a bad situation a lot better. I hope this doesn't happen again but if it does I know where to go! read more

I have used Ace a few times in the past and they do an okay job but they got caught today doing unreasonable (100%) mark ups on the parts used for the repair. When I got to Ace today I asked the technician to replace the window regulator for the window with a bad regulator and he insisted on that they have to troubleshoot themselves for $150. I was like whatever, I just need to get this fixed because its not working, he then proceeded to make it sound like the auto parts store might not have the part, which sounded like complete BS too me. So I called NAPA which is a couple of doors down and they said they had in stock for $75, I checked because I was already expecting some rediculous excuse. After Ace troubleshot the window and came up with the same diagnosis I came to them with, the regulator needs to be replaced, they quoted me $140 for the regulator from ORileys. I proceeded to tell them that their neighbor, NAPA has the part in stock for $75. So, Ace supposedly called NAPA then called me back claiming that NAPA wouldn't sell them the part for that price and I would have to buy the part myself and bring it to Ace but the warranty would be void if I make the purchase. After hearing this nonsense, I went to NAPA and confronted them about why they wouldn't sell Ace the part. They looked at me like I was crazy and confirmed that they would sell to Ace for the wholesale price which Ace admitted was $67. As it turns out NAPA sells to Ace for wholesale then puts a fake msrp of $140 on the invoice which is the amount Ace charges their customers. Im not much into Yelping, but felt I had to share this little markup scam being run by NAPA and Ace Auto Glass to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. 100% mark up on parts is dirty business practice, very scammy and caused Ace to lie to my face. I went ahead and paid the 100% mark up so I didn't have to waste anymore time listening to lies and BS. I am not a Happy Customer probably won't be back after peeking behind this curtain. read more

Rock chip frm the freeway that cracked my passenger windshield on 9/27/22, called my Insur, the next morning 9/28/22 ace auto glass called me to confirm the size of the crack, letting me know it will have to be a replacement and not a repair due to the size of the damage. They got back to me the next day 9/29/22 letting me know they had a opening at 1pm. Dropped off my car and within about 3 hrs my car was ready to be picked up. These folks are well informative, fast and very professional with what they do. This is my second car I had to replace my window and they never disappoint. Always go with ace auto glass! read more

Pop quiz: what's the word for the rubber that holds the rear car window in place? Ace Auto Glass cornered the market in car window solutions and it's clear as Windex why. The staff makes it easy to get an appointment and figure out how to get that naughty window back where it needs to be. In my case, the rubber on the rear window was looking less than spectacular and needed a refresh. Ace came highly recommended and made the entire process easy peezy. I sent an e-mail inquiry and didn't hear back. It was easier to get a response over the phone. The process for getting a quote moved much quicker over the phone and I was able to secure an appointment shortly thereafter. Be sure to leave early if you're not familiar with Ace's location. There's a lot of fascinating things going on and you might find yourself drawn to Fabric Mart on your way to get that glass looking like class. read more

Had two minor pebble damage on vehicle windshield and the previous rains had seeped into it and combined with the heat of the sun, the cracks expanded. Looked for the nearest auto glass shop to my location and found Ace Auto Glass with great reviews. Went to the shop here in Aiea, told them the problem and straight away was given the actual cost (including taxes) and scheduled an appointment, which i really appreciated. Fast forward to today, 1 Apr '24. When I dropped my vehicle I was greeted by one of the repairmen and was told the work will take 1 1/2 hrs. About an hour later the work was complete. Looked liked nothing happened. The replacement glass was similar to the previous damaged one. Really appreciate the friendly customer service and quality work! Should you need auto glass repair and in the Aiea area, look no further. You won't be disappointed with this shop! Highly recommended! read more

On 11/22/24, I had a harrowing experience with Safelite miserably attempting to fill a spot crack on my windshield. Safelite ended up botching the job and made the small crack spread to half the windshield. My insurance, State Farm, recommended Ace Auto Glass, now that the entire windshield needed to be replaced. I was very impressed from the start with how punctual and hard working AAG is. 1. Considering the Safelite debacle just happened on 11/22, I called my insurance and AAG to get the ball rolling with claims. That same day, AAG said they had contacted Servco and my windshield was in stock. Once received, they would give me a call to schedule an appointment. 2. The next business day, 11/25, AAG contacts me to set up an appointment for 11/26. 3. I take my car in morning of 11/26. 3 hours later, AAG calls me to tell me my car is ready for pick up. Beautiful job, AAG! Thank you for expediting this work as soon as you could, as I did not feel safe driving around with a large crack across the windshield. Keep business local and should you need auto glass repair, go with Ace Auto Glass. read more

My car back windshield was hit accidentally and glass shattered into 1,000 pebbles. I researched who could replace it quickly. I contacted one 5-star company but they were booked up to the following week. I didn't want to wait that long and noticed Ace Auto Glass had been in business a long time and had a branch reasonably close by. I preferred they come to where the car was so I didn't have to drive it with the shattered windshield but the rep said they wouldn't be able to get all the glass out since their machine wasn't portable. I was nervous about driving it the few miles to their closest branch but even more so didn't want glass spilling out. So I pulled on my big girl pants and prepped my mindset and the broken window for the journey. I made an unsuccessful attempt to hold up the glass with pieces of cardboard that fell off in spite of what I thought was a good idea. I did online research and followed the simplest directions my unmechanical skills could muster. Fortunately I had packing tape and a large sheet of clear plastic (thanks UPS!) and my jury rigged glass containing "bag" held the few pieces of class that shook loose. I dropped off the car and walked a bit to get lunch and sooner than I expected Ace texted me to let me know they were almost done. I couldn't believe how perfectly they replaced the windshield, even the heater cables and the new dark tint! No problems in the couple of weeks since then. It cost a pretty penny but worth the perfect materials, workmanship and professional customer service! read more

Awesome service. Air condition waiting room was a nice touch although walking around the area was nice too. Easy fast and convenient service. Everyone was so kind and caring. I had really positive feeling from the immediate call I received after submitting a claim through my car insurance. Employee was asking me how soon I want to bring my car in. I needed a quick windshield replacement and Ace Auto Glass Aiea did it! I was checking around for companies in the area and had some issues with an online reservation site with one of them. I made a call to Ace and spoke with Shadelle who was very helpful. I coordinated with my insurance company then called Shadelle back to schedule an appointment. I was concerned about the additional time involved with installing and calibrating the safety system on the windshield, but I was in by 8:00am and out by 3:00pm the same day. read more

ACE Auto Glass was so amazing! I was completely flustered when I found a large crack in my windshield after work (with no indication of how it got there). Put out a bunch of quote requests on Yelp, some responded but when they said they would call me the next day never did and others never responded at all. Karen called me early the next morning and was so helpful. She asked me for my VIN to make sure the new windshield was perfect (others just asked for Make and Model of my car). We went back and forth on a couple of calls to make sure the windshield was in stock and pricing. It was her suggestion for me to call my insurance and make a claim, I was avoiding the hassle. But she told me it would save me at least a couple of hundred dollars. How awesome is that? It wouldn't have mattered to them as they would get paid no matter what. I was able to schedule my replacement for the next day. Entire process was quick and efficient. read more

Great experience here! Sadly had my glass shattered Christmas week when someone broke into my car. Ace auto was the only glass company who answered my call right away. They worked hard to get me the correct glass in the fastest and most cost effective way possible. They even accommodated my crazy work schedule and held my car in their garage over the weekend so I didn't need to leave it in the parking lot without a window. I am so appreciative to them. Thank you for the great and friendly service. Definitely recommend! read more

I called Ace Auto Glass for my broken windshield and they gave me a reasonable quote and an appointment within three days. I checked in on my appointment date and was given a two hours turnaround. Then, 30 minutes after I dropped off my car, I received a call from the technician, who provided me an update. Two hours later, I received a text which indicated that my car was ready to be pick up. I had a rock hit my windshield on 4/17 on the way coming home and one company I thought of was Ace Auto Glass. She told me she didn't have my windshield and it had to be special ordered. Also, that it would take 4-8 weeks for it to come in. Hearing that I could have tried another company or even tried the dealership, but no I was willing to stick it out. Well, my long wait was over when I got that call that my windshield was in. Hallelujah, now I won't have to look at that crack. Anyway, I took my car in on 6/15 at 8:30am and was told it was going to be 1-1/2 or 2hrs. Not a problem, I can wait since I waited this long to get it fixed. Well, I got my call that my car was ready to be picked up at 9:30am. What great customer service! Now, this is my real issue. I took my car in clean inside and outside. I don't expect my car to come back with dirty handprints or dirty shoe marks in my car. Your technician left dirt marks on the inside on the driver side, as well as the passenger side. I would have expected you to at least clean it up before you return it to me. You left dirt on the hood of my car and didn't even bother to wipe it off before giving it to me. I didn't notice any of these things in my car till I got home. I had to clean up the mess, which your technician left in my car. I shook off my dash cover and it was wet. Why? If you were going to use some kind of liquid while putting on my windshield, couldn't you have at least removed my dash cover? I always believe in supporting small businesses, especially now, but not when something like this happens to me. I normally won't post in Yelp, but for something like this I will. Special note: Anyone who has a crack window and you take special care of your car...think! read more

My boyfriend just bought a new car and while driving, a rock hits his windshield and leaves a crack. Being a new car and because it was a pretty deep hit, he plans out to check out a few glass repair shops. I call the shop to see if I can make an appointment, the receptionist was very helpful and instead of an appointment, she told us to come in so we could get it assessed. I told her we would be there in half an hour. Went in, was able to get them to check out the crack and right away we were told to get it replaced. We went back inside and spoke to the receptionist and she gave us the low down on how much everything would be, told us how soon they could get the glass from Toyota. Being that everything just happened that day, my boyfriend wanted to shop around or get other quotes. The receptionist knew we were on the line about deciding whether or not we would go with them so she told us, she has his information on file, go get another quote and if we decided to work with them, call her back for an appointment. After almost a week, my boyfriend scheduled an appointment and was able to take it in fairly quickly. I dropped him off, and after an hour he was able to pick it up. It was quicker than what he was told which was awesome. It was also convenient for my boyfriend because he could walk there from his house. I would definitely recommend this place! The receptionist is knowledgeable and professional! She definitely knows her stuff and can help you! I'm just a little bummed that I didn't find out about the $10 coupon. Haha! read more
