I am very please and satisfied with their service. I love how they went the extra miles to repair the damage. To me the damage was very minimal. I had a dent on my bumper. My friends and family was saying to use a hot gun and pop it out, but I still wanted to take it to the shop to see any underlying issues. When I took it in, they tried to pop it out but without a hot gun, and decided to service it by replacing the whole bumper. They also repainted one side, which I did not expect. They also wash my car. It's been more than a month since I last washed it. I was planning on taking it to a car wash but they told me I can't because of the fresh paint. Along with shining my tires. I love knowing that they got the parts for Toyota. I went to other car shop to fix my old car, and they never said where they were getting the parts. I was assuming they got it from eBay or some aftermarket because the other shop also repainted my car and you can tell the difference. I could see on my report with Oka that they only paid $12 for a aftermarket parts, but new parts $326 (assuming it's from Toyota). My car parts may not be original, but at least it is from Toyota. I am satisfied with the service and how nice the front desk people were. Very sincere if I was checked it while I was waiting. I totally recommend the 100/10, and would refer my friends and family to go to this shop. I would come back to this shop if I ever have an issue with my car. read more

IMPECCABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! **WARNING: THIS IS A LONG REVIEW** Literally-- from the time we pulled up and put our car in park, we were greeted with a huge smile behind a mask. Our appt was at 8:30am. My wife and I arrived about 10 mins early and figured we not bombard any of the workers who might not have been ready for us. To our surprise, however, Helen (lovely lady) came up to the car to acknowledge she was there to assist. Due to covid, we were unsure if we were to get out of the car.... give the keys? We really weren't sure!? So having her greet us at the car made life so much simpler. My wife asked if it was ok we were inside, and if there was anything they wanted us to do? Helen responded, "You 2 stay in the car, don't worry, we will take care of you right here where you're comfortable." HOW AWESOME! After filling out the basic info on the check-in sheet prepared by State Farm, Brandon came over to inspect the damages. We informed him that we've been victims of a hit & run, and the dummy put a huge dent in the front bumper. Brandon showed sympathy to our unfortunate $500 loss (my deductible), but reassured us that State Farm will be taking care of the rest. I was pretty annoyed because I just bought my new car 5 months ago, though felt relieved it'd be left in good hands. Once the pictures and scope of the damages were documented, Brandon told us he'd follow up via email as soon as the estimate was complete. AGAIN, to our surprise, we received the email within one hour of our *short 10 minute* visit! Brandon responded promptly and courteously to each and every email, too. He recommended the best option for car rental, with Oka's system to getting you in and out in the shortest amount of time. Frickn awesome, I tell ya! Anyways, luckily the work wasn't too labor intensive, and the majority of parts needed were in stock. We were able to schedule the repair 2 days after (wed) our estimate day (mon). Upon dropping my Rogue off, we were greeted by Lovely Helen again. She gave us the low-down on expectations of the work to be done, timing and Enterprise reservation. I thought it was such a nice touch that I didn't have to speak to any car rental company (no offense) because bringing my damaged vehicle in was already a task for me! Enterprise showed up within 15 mins of our arrival-- KUDOS TO THEM AS WELL! Carrying on--- we get the rental and head home. A few hours later, we received a call from Helen advising they found a little more damage behind the bumper. Due to the necessary additions, what was initially scheduled a 3 day job, turned into 5 business days. No problem for us! && What was EVEN MORE EXCEPTIONAL, was that Oka's already took the initiative to contact Enterprise to extend my reservation. No work needed from me! :) Along the way, I received texts with updates and vehicle status- I thought that was a nice touch as well. Pick up day was just as accurate! 5 business days, as I planned my life to accommodate, and it was the easiest, smoothest process. Rebecca greeted me at my rental and explained the job that was completed & Oka's LIFETIME warranty for the repairs. She made it easy for me to step out the car rental, leave the keys with her and James walked me over to ensure satisfactory work on my Rogue. Both James and Rebecca were extremely friendly and precise with the explanations. AGAIN!!!!! To my surprise, my vehicle was returned nicer AND CLEANER than I gave it to them! Are you for real????! Too good, these people! There's no denying that this place got their process fine tuned! As a representative for State Farm, it sucks so bad being on the other end of the spectrum, but I'm so thankful we had Oka's take care of us! Anyway...from the time I took my vehicle for an estimate at Oka's until the time I picked up my vehicle...my experience with them was quick, honest, friendly, professional and superb. I took my vehicle in all "buss up" and got it back fixed, vacuumed and washed. I was shocked at how great it looked. I can write this confidently because I went to them twice. My car was hit in the rear near my home. Not a lot of damage on the surface but definitely needed the bumper replaced and other items. Contacted my insurance company (Geico) and they gave me a quote for the repair. Found Oka's using Yelp and so glad that I did. This place is top notch not only with regards to repair and length of time, but customer service is a priority for sure. From the first call for estimate (spoke with Helen, super friendly and helpful); Nick, (my service rep) informed me of the process with dropping of the vehicle and what to expect. I felt that I was treated with care and concern, not as a customer but basically like family. Everyone was so cheerful and helpful both on the phone and in person. Almost daily I was contacted by Nick as to the status of the vehicle. It's evident that they take pride in the repair of the vehicle because I was even contacted with regards to "fit and finish" on my after market bumper (the technician was not happy with the fitment) and I was given the option to go back "OEM" instead of the after market that Geico suggested. Paint work is something that is extremely difficult to match, not for Oka's paint crew. Even though my car is 17 years old, they matched the paint/tint/variant of the silver Toyota paint perfectly. I was actively trying to find any issue I could but after scouring the car, it was "perfect", like it never happened. Lastly, I always detail my cars before I get them serviced. Because we had a little rain while my car was at the shop, I expected the car to be a little dirty or dusty. Not at all, I swear the car was cleaner than when I dropped it off! Great job Oka's!! Rear sensor was working correctly before dropping car off at the shop for 2 weeks. As part of paint job, rear bumper was removed, rear sensor disconnected and reconnected. When I picked up the car, the rear sensor now beeps and blares loudly even if there is nothing behind the car. Oka's said they noticed it in the shop but never called us to ask about it. (They said they do not have the time to call customers even when things are not working properly.) They did not accept responsibility for the rear sensor not working now and said it must have happened in the 5 minutes after reversing the car out of my garage and bringing it to their shop. We have to fix on our own. This posting is made so there is a record of this for others to be aware of. read more

Glad that I went to Oka's. My brand new Tacoma had front bumper damage from someone reversing into it. I got an estimate from Brandon, he was able to break down what had to be done & was able to answer every question that I had for him. The damage on my truck was pretty bad but the repair crew was able to make my truck look brand new again. It's like nothing happened. I know that there are some people out there like me who are very meticulous about paint jobs, from my experience, I can say that Oka's Auto Body sure does an amazing job! I also loved how they kept on updating me on the progress of how my truck was doing. Keep in mind, if you need to schedule an estimate, this shop can be very busy. I was not able to get an estimate until two weeks from the first time I called. But if you're able to stay patient, it's totally worth it. Absolute 5 stars for this body shop! If I could give an indefinite amount I would. From start to finish, the customer service was beyond amazing. This will be a pretty length review, simply because I do not want to miss ANYTHING in describing my experience with Oka's. I ended up bringing my vehicle here due to an insurance claim. Unfortunately for me, I was left with a huge dent in my front bumper from a hit and run incident. I was referred to this place by my insurance agency (State Farm) and was very pleased that they took care of me. I called to schedule an appointment with them around 4:30 pm on a Thursday afternoon. Shortly after, Helen had me scheduled for the following week to conduct my vehicle inspection and body estimate. She was the most patient and genuine lady when assisting me. The following week, promptly at 8:30 am, I rolled up thinking this place would be like others, no personality and quick to get your business. Well, I was WRONG! Helen walked up to the window to check me in for my appointment with a smile. Shortly after, I was met by Brandon who gave me a thorough explanation of all that he was going to do to complete vehicle inspection. It took less that 10 minutes to take pictures and sign paperwork. Soon after, Brandon had told me I should be receiving my repair estimate by noon that day. By 9:30 am, I had already received the estimate via email! I quickly responded to him, agreeing to order parts and complete the repair. This was sooooo easy! A few hours later, Brandon then called me back to say parts were ordered and that they would be ready to take my car two days later. I was given a rough estimate of about 3 days, which was absolutely fine with me! Two days later, I arrive to drop off my vehicle and the first smile and greeting is from Helen! She remembered exactly who I was! She checked me in for my appointment and proceeded to let me know that she had already called for my rental vehicle. Instead of standing outside, she informed us that we could wait comfortably in our car and that when the rental arrived, to simply leave the keys in the vehicle. She also made sure that I remembered to remove all valuables! Once my rental car showed up, Helen noticed it wasn't up to par, meaning they mistakenly brought me a smaller car, which wasn't compatible to my SUV. She of course took care of it and within the next 10 minutes, I had the correct rental! Thank you Helen!! The next day after dropping off my vehicle, I received a call from another call from Helen. She explained that there were other parts that needed to be ordered because there was more damage underneath. This wasn't an issue with me and I told them whatever needs to be done is okay! A few days later, I received another call, but from Rebecca this time. She explained that the car would take one more day to complete due to the underlying damage. She told me not to worry about the rental, she will contact Enterprise directly and take care of the extension. This was awesome for me! Less work for me right!? I had my rental already taken cared of and my car was one day closer to being back with me. By that afternoon, I had received one more call from Rebecca letting me know that my vehicle was done!! Unfortunately I couldn't grab it due to getting off after they closed, but she assured me that was just fine. I let her know my wife would be there first thing in the morning to pick it up! To make it easier for my wife, I was able to also pay my deductible over the phone with ease! The very next day, my wife was back in her G ride! Happy wife means happy life! I just want to give a genuine and extended thank you to Oka's Auto shop! They are amazing from start to finish! I will definitely be referring as many people as I can here, simply because the process was soo smooth and streamlined from start to finish! Thank you for taking care of me!!! They stuck me with the repair bill. I brought my car in for a bumper repair. For no reason they decided to test my car's computer system and did not do something correctly or they did not have the correct equipment. This caused some sort of misconfiguration that lit up my dashboard with warning lights. After multiple attempts and hours of waiting they could not turn it off. I needed it fixed quickly because other people drive my car and it posed a safety risk to drive around like that. They told me to take it to the dealer and have my insurance take care of the bill. I took it to the dealer and they were able to correct the problem. My insurance determined that it was not their responsibility to cover the charge because it was caused by Oka's, which I agree. I brought this up to Oka's and they told me they were not going to cover it. Their advice was to go back to the dealer and have them tell my insurance that it was accident related so I can get compensated otherwise it would have to come out of pocket. I was hoping that a "family business" would own up to their error and cover the cost. The bill was $150. I work hard so I guess I can cover the $150 for you Oka's. read more

I have been to Oka's twice after my car was hit on two separate occasions and both times the repair process was very smooth. However, after picking up my car most recently I noticed the cover to my center console was very loose and wouldn't close right. I called the next morning as soon as they opened to ask about it. The receptionist had me schedule an appointment to bring it in so it could be looked at. She informed me it may be possible to fix it at that time or a later date if parts were needed. When I arrived at my appointment, an estimator(?) walked with me out to me car where we were met by a repair tech(?). The tech took a look, told me what was wrong & asked if I had it repaired before because a part was missing. I stated that I never had a problem with it for as long as I'd owned it until now, but it was pre owned so I couldn't know the whole history. He seemed to take that as an explanation for the issue because that's when they both said "thank you" and walked away. At this point neither of them clearly stated whether or not they could address the issue so I was left standing there with no clear understanding of what, if anything, would happen next. I walked back into the receptionist area to confirm. I was told that the only repairs done were on the outside of my car & that no one "went in there" & that although my interior was slightly cleaned, they "don't do detailing" so they wouldn't have known of any damage. That's it. I'm very disappointed in the lack of transparency. It's one thing to clearly state that they weren't going to take accountability for the damage, but that never actually happened. I was under the impression the issue could possibly be resolved when I made the appointment to come back in, only to be brushed off at the actual appointment. read more

On October 15th 2015, the worst happened to my truck. I was at the Renton light waiting for the light to turn green and got rear ended at a compete stop. Lady did a number to my truck, quarters went flying and everything. My truck is a 1995 Toyota pickup, and I only have liability coverage on my truck. The lady's insurance had to cover me, but they could only give me $1800, since my truck is 20 years old. It was either they write me a check or total it. Some people may wonder why I would keep the truck, but the truth is, it was my grandpa's truck that I restored to its original glory. So you can say it has sentimental value to it. So there I was $1800 in hand and only willing to spend another $400 in my savings. I am a full time college student and I work part time at a minimum wage job, so that's all I could come up with. That week it seemed that everyone was getting hit, since other shops I called where completely stacked and couldn't even see me for an estimate. I decided to ask my Dad if he knew where else I could take it. He told me to try Oka's since he did work with them before, when his 85 corolla got hit back in the day. Called Oka's, and I spoke to Helen, She fit me right in that very day I called. Got to the shop, seemed like a friendly family owned shop, and I noticed the awards on their wall, so I figured they must be good. Brandon was the one who looked at my truck and gave me an estimate later that day through email. He realized that I was a full time student, and could only afford so much. My main goal was the first fix the frame, and the structure so I could pass safety check again. Next was to do work in order to avoid corrosion in the future. I did my own body work to my truck in high school. Therefore, I could always do my own body work later on down the line. I did not however, own a frame bending machine so I really needed that done. In the week that I took my truck there, Brandon worked with me. He knew my situation and that I didn't have an unlimited supply of money like most people to fix their vehicles. Being mechanically savvy, I supplied my own rear bumper that I found on craigslist and brackets, which really cut the cost. When they removed the bed, they noticed that damage was not as bad as initially suspected, and they were able to do additional work, if I wanted and still be in my budget of $2,200. I had them paint the back of my cab, for a fee of course, but back in high school I was unable to remove the bed in order to paint the back of the cab, so I was meaning to get that done anyway. Since the bed was off already I didn't cost as much. When I saw the truck for the first time after the repairs, I was ecstatic. The bumper I got looked nice on the truck, and the tail gate closed as it should. In addition, the back of the cab was nicely painted. Because I was really excited I didn't think to really check it over. As I was driving it home however, I noticed that the bed was misaligned. I emailed Brandon, and he got back to me promptly. They were able to fix it on my next day off. Overall, I am very satisfied with their workmanship as well as their customer service. Brandon was really great and knew that I had a budget and also knew what I wanted done to the truck. I really appreciate that since I am a college student and can't exactly afford to pay out a lot of money. I like that they allowed me to supply my own parts, which really cut down on the cost. Now days, I am back to the daily grind. When I am not however, I can take the truck to the beach, drop down the tail gate and enjoy a cheeseburger. read more

When you're in a hurry and the metal pole in the parking lot seems to jump out at you- you find yourself in need of a new bumper and reflectors. Oka's did an amazing job on my car. Not only were they quick but they kept my updated on my repairs throughout the whole process. To top it all off, they cleaned and buffed an existing scratch that I had on my car (from a different pole in a different parking lot). My car looks good as new. It's a horrible experience when you finish a long shift at work, and think that you'll just grab a quick dinner and go home, only to emerge and find that someone whacked your vehicle while trying to park in the stall next to you. I called Oka's on a Monday to see when I could schedule an estimate, and Helen said they could see me that afternoon. I met with Brandon, and he was so knowledge helped walk me through the process. He emailed me the estimate the following morning, and answered the questions I had very quickly. We scheduled repairs for the following Monday and My Husband was able to pick my truck up on Thursday. The communication was amazing throughout the whole timeline. Helen called every day with an update, along with text notifications about the projected pickup day and if they were on track with the progress.
