So an hour or two later when i went to pick my car up i was told they needed 1-2 more hours. i sat in the parking lot and watched SEVERAL cars come in after me, and leave before me. the technician claimed that they were having machine issues?? after expressing my grievances to the woman at the desk, she said there was nothing she could do for me. after i left safelite i tried calling a higher management to express that i was not satisfied with the THREE HUNDRED dollar service that i paid for. she apologized and told me that she would call me back in 3-5 business days to resolve the issues i never got a call back and it's been a month or two. the lack of timeliness and preparation was simply unacceptable.

Then when the people finally showed up at my house which they were like 3-4 hours late. They showed up in a van with no markings on business name nothing, come to find out they subcontract to have windows and cars fixed. Wasn't happy about that to start off with so they get started. They do work they left I get in the car and noticed some black spots on my fabric, but I was able to wash it off. I had to go to a specialist today over an hour away , while driving down the highway. I heard a really loud cracking noise than nothing but air. It made me a little nervous cause I thought maybe my windshield was going to blow off but when I got to the doctors office, I get out of the car, the entire side molding on the passenger side was gone. I've never had that happen before ever on any car that I've ever had. I've been trying to reach the small business owner of the company. He has not yet called me back. He told the guy who put the windshield in to deal with it. Very unprofessional. So this guy called me up to deal with it. He told me to put a piece of tape over the little hose going up the frame I said that's not acceptable. He also told me that he has to order the part from the car dealership, then I would have to go down pick it up and have them put it ion aswell I live over an hour from the dealership so I'm expected to make time in my schedule to drive over an hour. Spend the gas my time pick it up have them pop it in and drive it over an hour back home on my time when I'm supposed to have Home service that doesn't seem like Home service !!!! Save yourself some time go to Safelite or someone else . They're more be businesses and they're faster. I'm just waiting for the windshield to break off or leak. I'm also going to call my insurance company tomorrow and let them know what happened and I'm also going to contact a Better Business Bureau because I really think this should be reported specially since the owner will not contact me personally, in my opinion the right thing would be done by this company while I'm waiting for the part they should rent me a car so I don't have to hear the loud noise. I o had three surgeries in my ear, so it really does irritate my ear so medically it does bother me that alone. If they were professionals, they would rent a car for me secondly, I shouldn't have to drive over an hour to get depart put in. That's their neglect not mine then they had the nerve to tell me they looked it up on my car model., said This is an issue with my model. I've never had an issue with my car maybe a couple cars maybe they had issues but not every stock has an issue with this. I going to call Hyundai I'm going to ask thenm about It because I think that's ridiculous that they're saying it's an issue when they just fix the windshield the night before. They're trying to blame it on someone else which is extremely sad in my eyes!!! So if they don't take care of this soon, I think I might go talk to a lawyer as well . It took about an hour and while one might wonder what made service so good.... I had one replacement that left me with a piece of glass on my dash that had my inspection sticker etc on . I drove around with this for a year until next. inspection. Marty removed said stickers and applied them to my new windshield. This felt huge to me. I will definitely use them again and referred people already .
