The store is pretty cool with a bar where you can get a flight of beers , a coffee shop not a Starbucks , dry aged beef in the butcher shop , nice produce , and everything in between. The employees are very nice and helpful. The store is clean and well organized. They also have a gas station on the premises as well as other shops and restaurants in the shopping plaza. My only complaint is it's in Carolina Forest. After getting groceries and gas I went to the exit with stop light to make a left turn and I was in a huge line that wasn't moving. The traffic light would only cycle to the Yellow Turn Signal so only one car at a time was getting through. It was super busy with traffic. I changed lanes and made a right to go down to another light and turn around to make a left at that light which did do the Green Left Turn Signal. I made it the 3rd cycle. I heard about traffic here , but didn't know it was this bad. So I won't be returning here for this reason. Food Lion is only about a mile or 2 away from where I'm staying and unfortunately the ribs I came to get were not even that good ! Dang.

We even spotted employees on the aisles helping customers in the pharmacy area. The restaurant inside is a Subway, and it's at the back of the store, which is nice because we're not bombarded by the "Subway smell" walking in or walking around Walmart. Most of the checkout area has been converted to self-checkout, which is tough for elderly or disabled folks, but if you wanted a cashier, many registers were open. My mom and other frequent customers feel like Walmart was short on cashiers compared to earlier in the holiday season. The parking lot is huge, but be prepared to walk. A lot of stores are in this shopping center, so it's a one-stop shop.

Then as we were getting ready to head to self checkout, the lady by the self checkout shouted at us and said " under 20 items at self checkout". New to us because we always used the self checkout when buying items here. Also wasn't the case last time we were here too. Anyways, so I took what I had which was the wallet, shampoo, conditioner, and mouthwash and hair product and went to the self checkout. I paid with a credit card. my mom went to the cashier, and the cashier said that one can enter their phone number after you put the card in, and the option to do so never came up. So to customer service we went to see if they can add to the account, but nothing. We also told the customer service desk, that their new rule which is under 20 items at self checkout, which started a week before this, is ridiculous. Bad decision on walmarts part because we always used self checkout, and it is more convenient especially for issues like adding your walmart plus number. Anyways, store was clean and organized at least. May be back.
