Went here on Friday June 12th 2026 with my mom. Finally back at this walmart, and decided to go here instead because we were around the area, and needed some items. Entered, and grabbed a wagon, and also forgot that there is a hair salon in this location. We parked near the home and pharmacy section because that's what we needed basically the home stuff. Went to the toiletries section and brought crest scope 3 pack toothpaste, and also 2 packs of always sanitary napkins. Also found a eon shaving cream that works well for me, and helps with shaving and has no itch afterwards. We then headed to the card section, and I actually found a fathers day card for 1.00! They had quite some selections too, both regular and discounted. even found a retirement card, but then put it back after ringing it up and it was $5.00! Then we went to the back to the toiletries section, and got 1 lysol mango hibscous. The only thing is that they didn't have a combo pack for that one. We also brought some milk, yogurts and salads. Went to the self checkout when done. This self checkout does not have an item limit like the one on myrtle ridge. So both my mom and I paid for our items at the self checkout. Oh, and it's okay because it doesn't seem like they are missing anything, but when I scanned the sanitary napkins the package was open slightly. For my items I paid 45.64 and charged it to a credit card. Store was clean and organized. Would definitely be back! read more

I had a VERY bad experience at the Conway SC Walmart 2709 Church St. I was checking out through self checkout where a miss Denise was working. Well I decided after a long day to buy myself a little bottle of alcohol. Well.... Little Miss Denise was too preoccupied by her phone to notice I needed help. It took another customer literally saying "excuse me ma'am that gentleman needs help". She comes over annoyed as if I just interrupted her "me time". I give her my SC DL and, if you live in SC, you know these aren't the most durable DL. Well a small corner of my DL was peeled back .... And I say small like 3mm small. Well, she refused to take it. She made me go to customer service because she wouldn't even bother getting a manager to come over and check it out. She was rude the entire time. Me, a 41 year old man with a beard and gray hairs in it. She knew for a fact I was over 21, she was just mad because she got called out. These people are horrible! read more

People hate on Walmart, but this one wasn't too bad. I visited with my mom the Friday after Christmas, and the aisles were fairly neat and tidy. We even spotted employees on the aisles helping customers in the pharmacy area. The restaurant inside is a Subway, and it's at the back of the store, which is nice because we're not bombarded by the "Subway smell" walking in or walking around Walmart. Most of the checkout area has been converted to self-checkout, which is tough for elderly or disabled folks, but if you wanted a cashier, many registers were open. My mom and other frequent customers feel like Walmart was short on cashiers compared to earlier in the holiday season. The parking lot is huge, but be prepared to walk. A lot of stores are in this shopping center, so it's a one-stop shop. read more

This may be the worst Walmart I've ever been to. I challenge anyone to find another retail establishment with as little collective interest in taking customers' money--I mean actually processing sales, the physical act of exchanging goods for cash--as this one. Are they trying to run the world's saddest museum? Come in, marvel at all their cheap crap, then leave? The shopping here can go as quickly as you want it to, but I would advise you budget a bare minimum of 25 to 30 additional minutes to then actually check out your items. Just a heads up: The heat index gets well into the 90s in summer, but the AC isn't great up by the registers where you'll be spending 95% of your visit. read more

I had an issue (of my own making, unfortunately), and called the store for help. The lady who answered asked if I might come to the store to resolve it. So, on 2/10/25, I drove to the store where a kind lady at the customer service referred me to a young man named "Royce." Not only did Royce help resolve my issue, he went more than the extra mile to do so. He made multiple phone calls which resulted in the complete satisfaction of my issue. Visiting from San Diego, where some of the rudest people reside, this Walmart has top the list! I politely asked a "online bagger," where a product was. This individual (lady), in a disgraceful tone just said over there and walked away! Attempting to catch her, she pointed and walked away again! Please note she pointed to the other side of the store. Needless to say, I had to ask another employee, who was helpful! This is not the Walmart customer service per their mission/vision statement; please correct! This is one of the worst Walmarts I have ever encountered. I just moved to South Carolina less than a month ago from Denver and this place is far from Southern hospitality. That's a farce there is no southern hospitality when it comes to this particular Walmart. They are rude I've had to return things twice, with a receipt and have trouble doing that because of the staff. I tried to voice a formal complaint over the phone and I was told the manager wasn't in and was on vacation but I had to call back 3 days later. If you want to get screwed and get a bad attitude along with the good screwing that they're going to give you, then shop there, because I won't be going there again. I had to travel 7 miles one way to retrieve items I was charged for and never received because the cashier did not bag them and put them in my cart. I live on a fixed income and I don't appreciate being treated like dirt which is how this Walmart likes to treat people. Just cuz I'm old doesn't mean I'm stupid.​​​​ read more

The auto center has some issues with sexism and not speaking to young women appropriately and respectfully. Thomas in the tire and auto center in particularly was very rude, disrespectful, inconsiderate (of customer's needs, time and concerns), and condescending. The way he speaks and communicates is not customer friendly. read more

Harold in the deli is a great employee. every time we go in there and he is working he has a smile, shows us the thickness and asks if it's good or not. we've had others help us but they come off like we are intruding on them and as if we and other customers are annoying. Walmart's black Friday sales is nothing more than consumer fraud. I purchased a 75-inch LG TV for $488 and to build my credit i put in on a charge called Affirm because Walmart refused to accept PayPal. I was under the impression that it would be shipped from the Conway superstore and receive it in a few days. Well, I was wrong, they were shipping it from Sacramento California. If I was made aware of this, I would have canceled the order. The TV was ordered on 11/23/23 on 11/27/23 I get a notice from a shipper called Pilot saying it was on its way and would arrive 12/4/23. Well, that date came and went and when I tried to track it Walmart could not say where it was or when it would be delivered. I called the shipper, and they would not give an arrival date nor know when the TV was. They made excuse after excuse of the whereabouts of this 82-pound box that they were assigned to ship. All they said is they will try and locate it and give me an updated delivery date, meanwhile the credit company call Affirm wants a monthly payment on 12/27/23. Tried to contact them and they show no customer service number or company address so that I can notify them that I refuse to pay for something I don't have. Walmart black Friday internet sale is a big SCAM and our state's attorney general will be notified to action in order to stop them from this consumer fraud. Next time I will shop best buy like I should have from the start; however, their price was a little higher. Pay a little more and all this Walmart fraud could have been avoided. read more

I have never had an issue with an employee and have been treated with respect and friendliness every-time I shop there. Being out of stock during these times is usually a supply chain issue not to be blamed by the employees. I just wish they had more cashiers at the check out stations. read more

Recently I placed an order to have an 8x10 picture printed at this location. The store was out of ink for their photo printer and I was not notified of this until a couple of days later when I went to check on it. I gave the store a few more days and went to pick up the print. The woman "working" in the photo department didn't even acknowledge me standing there for almost 20 minutes. I eventually left without my picture. I encountered another incredibly rude employee and my dealings with her made me actually leave everything I wanted to purchase in the store. Will not be going back for a long while. On a happier note, Joan at the door is always polite! read more

I used to have good experiences with Church Street Walmart grocery and delivery....but the last two orders they literally made me wait for over an hour for pickup. My delivery today had the majority of its items canceled/unavailable and then was still undelivered at 8:45pm...when it was scheduled for 7pm. Customer service has dropped at this store. This vision center is awful. I waited a week for my glasses, and finally called and was told someone should of called me to tell me the lab messed up my one lens and it would be a bit longer to get a new one in. No one called me to tell me this. A few days later I got called telling me my glasses were ready. The person working didn't try to fit them or see how they worked, I left and went home with them only to find they were so distorted. Not only that but the lens didn't even look like it was secure in the lens.. When I called to tell the vision center representative she was short with me and told me it was my prescription.. no my prescription wouldn't make my glasses blurry, double vision and just plain unwearable! I finally went to return them and the lady working (black female) didn't apologize or ask to resolve the issue. Horrible custom service. I 100% don't recommend going here. I really don't think they know what they are doing. There was only one nice person working there and it was a middle aged man whom helped me check out the glasses... that's it! read more

Besides a few employees I am amazed at how careless some of the employees are. I visited this store the other day and two associates whom I had asked for assistance walked away and never came back. This is rude and disrespectful. I do not recommend shopping here at all. read more
