I've never reviewed a drugstore before, and might never again, but I was so pleased with my quick, random stop in this place on our way to Myrtle Beach, that I had to say something. Realizing that I (of course) forgot to bring a couple items with me on our trip, we spotted this Walgreens. Routine stop, I thought. What made it something memorable and worthy of a report? A gal named Pat, who came up behind me on the shampoo aisle and said "Can I help you find anything?" Normally I would have quickly said, "I'm just looking", but stunned that I was even asked that question in a drugstore, I said "Oh, I'm just looking for a good deep hair conditioner". She thought for a moment, then pointed out a product that she said she had heard good reports about. Looked good, not too expensive...I grabbed a couple and she led me back to her register, where she proceeded to look through some coupons that she offered to save me a couple bucks! Then, when it turned out they were buy one get one half price, she seemed so genuinely pleased for me that I was saving even more money. You could FEEL the warmth from this kind, helpful, caring woman. I said to her: "You have MADE my day". What a surprise that a random, quick stop in a drugstore could make me feel what she said to me as I was leaving: "Have a blessed day too". Oh, and she was right about the hair conditioner. It has already made a difference!

But at least returns are easy. James helped me and the process to return my items was easy. He was pleasant too. My mom and I then looked around the store, at the clothes, and she picked out some of them to try on at home. Womens section seemed a bit small, but perhaps is set up differently than what I am used to. We also went to the grocery section and brought 2 for 7 salads, worcheshire sauce, good and gather salsa, another medium salsa, some good and gather cheese. We also got birds eyes vegetables 3 for 7! We then went to a cashier and paid for our items. Hope to be back in person shopping soon!
