We appreciated that she used upscale furniture, real plants and thoughtful art and took great care in the finishing touches. She also provided consulting hours as we did minor renovations before staging. Our house definitely stood out. We loved her aesthetic so much that we asked her for consultation as we set up the new house. She patiently listened, offered great advice and put together a detailed list with links of options per room, came with us to stores to help pick out furniture (pics below). I still message her one off to this day (as home furnishings never really end do they?!). If you value great taste and someone who helps you find that whatever your budget is, it's Joyce and team!

We loved her work so much, that we have hired her as a consultant to help us with our new home. She has an amazing eye for detail as well as for the big-picture envisioning of the space and how it all works together. She endeavors to really understand our style and our vision and how to best achieve it. We appreciate that she finds a balance between vision and practical decisions and is willing to work within a budget to make suggestions that make the most out of what one has to invest in their space.

But of course, that chair at retail price could cost us up to $2k for a new one. We heard about Better Source from a friend and decided to go check it out. Lo and behold, they had the perfect Embody chair - and in PERFECT condition - going for $700! That's more than 1/2 off! The process was so incredibly smooth. We spoke to the man upfront (unfortunately I never got his name - shame on me!) who was extremely helpful in the purchasing process. He allowed my boyfriend to reserve a chair (and he even picked out the "best" one for him) without a deposit. On the week of July 4th we were able to pick it up and see it for ourselves. It was perfect. ZERO flaws. We basically got a whole new Embody chair and it didn't cost us $2k. I have been interested in getting an Uplift desk for quite some time and I heard that they'll be getting more with different tops. We will continue to come back here and see what more they'll get in the future. We have zero reservations when it comes to supporting such an excellent business like this. Thanks, Better Source, for making our home setup dreams come true! :)

Staging is the process of making your house look bigger, showing off the details, but without distracting the buyer with the staging items themselves. Well... it works. Design Stories transformed the look of our house. They spent hours moving things around to get a perfect look. Victoria and Claudia are perfectionists and do a terrific job. They are also super flexible - they had to dodge subcontractors as they were deploying because we ran into scheduling issues. They handled it all cheerfully. The results were terrific. I also found their pricing quite reasonable. I highly recommend Design Stories!

On behalf of our family, I want to thank Kevin, Vicky and the entire staff for a job well done…read more They turned an insurmountable task with 56 years of accumulations into a successful event. After calling other estate sale companies we decided on The YES Co. We are glad we did as they did not disappoint doing our sale. They exuded expertise and effort in all the aspects including organizing, advertising, pricing, customers, etc. Since we lived out of the area we were glad Kevin kept us informed constantly through regular emails with photos, It was a great comfort to our family that our mother's life long possessions were handled and displayed in a dignified manner. Seeing is believing. They did everything they said they would. The financial results were also most rewarding and the house was left cleanly condensed. The YES Co does what they promise!

I would like to take this opportunity to express my greatest appreciation to Kevin and the team…read morethrough the process of liquidating my parents' estate this past weekend. My parents were in the home for over 60 years and there were multiple surprises; the team separated those items for my review including items that had value and significance that were stashed away. My parents were merchants and in retirement had worked for a competitor estate sale company for over a decade where my father provided me with his (fatherly) advice to choose a compant with integrity. Kevin Black and his team showed integrity. The entire process took about six weeks where Kevin provided a balance between empathy and reality on execution of a successful sale in 2026. Kevin managed my expectations and the results were in line with his predictions. Kevin outlined what the strategy would be over the four-day sale and provided updates at each step. I see the critical success factors in this experience are as follows: Knowledge: A realistic approach on how to market and liquidate a large quantity and variety of goods in 21 hours over 4 days. Team: I was present for some of the preparation time and the team was extremely hard working and collaborative with one another to assemble and collate the merchandise for a coherent presentation. I feel like the team was there to maximize the return for the client. Marketing: Kevin is a master at marketing through all channels. For the items that could be challenging for effective sale over a weekend, he offered alternative solutions that I agreed to and was pleased with the results. Presentation: The initial opening of the sale, goods were effectively displayed and highlighted. Throughout the sale, as items sold, there was an executed strategy to bring the next items to the forefront. Communication: I wanted to give Kevin the space he needed to execute without being a high maintenance client and his updates put me at ease. As far as results, the proceeds were two times what I anticipated, no complaints from the neighbors, and the house was left in the condition promised. Kevin is the ultimate estate sale ringmaster from initiation to final clean-up.

My favorite set of high back chairs was incredibly overpriced but they had plenty of others (like the green) at reasonable prices, especially as most of the items here are good quality. I don't think I would come here for wall art specifically as I didn't find a single piece I liked but there was some really nice furniture, decor and other peices for sure.
