The amazing Lemon Seabass plate was soo good, amazing sauce
Erica A.

From the moment we walked in the staff was extremely kind! From taking our order, refills, helping us grab a highchair, checking in on how we were enjoying our meal, wishing us a happy new year while they were on the way out. Extremely kind. Also first thing I noticed walking in I couldn't help but tell my family how cute their bar behind the order counter looked and just over all loved the ambiance! Georgias also has a huge menu to choose from and I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. We ordered the fried chicken meal with sides of mashed potatoes and extremely delicious Mac and cheese, the lemon sea bass was ridiculously good!! The sauce used was sooo yummy, we left the plate so clean, and lastly a kids pasta which my picky child was not a fan of which is totally normal for him lol but he enjoyed our side of Mac and cheese so much he basically claimed it for himself! They also bring complimentary cornbread and butter which was also amazing and I enjoyed very much. I really can't wait to go back and try some of their fry options as well as other dishes!

Who says you can't have gumbo on a hot day?? I stopped by Georgia's with my mom during the holidays for just that! I've Doordashed them before but decided to dine in this time around. They were playing good music, the server was very friendly AND you even get a free cornbread muffin when you dine in. The server was nice enough to throw in some more free cornbread too while we were waiting for our meals. The gumbo itself was very flavorful. The chicken was very tender and I also received a good portion of sausage and shrimp. It was so good that my mom ordered a cup of gumbo for herself. Their mac and cheese chili is also very comforting too. Stop by when you get a chance!

This establishment has been here for two years. This is my first visit but my girl has been here several times and has enjoyed it. We stopped by for lunch ordered the Po boy sandwich, sweet potato fries, and fried catfish with fries and garlic rice. The food was tasty. The customer service was great. The interior is spacious with plenty of tables to enjoy your meal. They also have outdoor dining.

Blackened Chicken Sandwich & Fries are really good!

Back again to try the Pulled Pork Sandwich with fries. Hubby stuck to his favorite Blackened Chicken Sandwich! I loved the pulled pork. It was tender and the bbq sauce is delicious. The coleslaw was wonderful on it, and I even wish there was more of it! The brioche bun is soft and the perfect size for me. It would have been too small for my hubby (who is in love with his sandwich). The fries are good and so was the service, as always!

Slimy salad! There's really no excuse for a restaurant to give a salad that is wilted, brown, and slimy. Everything we got also tasted like onions My husband and I were super bummed with this restaurant. It was our first time visiting, first impressions are everything. We won't be back

My favorite place to go eat in Eastvale. Their complimentary corn bread is the best I've ever had. Everything I've tried is perfectly seasoned. We eat here at least once a month. The staff always greets you with a smile and they continuously check up on you. They have great music playing in the background and I like how they always make sure the restaurant is clean. I recommend 100%

Sweet Potato Pie (slice)

This review is for THE FOOD! (the server Thu is still amazing) I came here today and spent almost $100 and everything I ordered was absolutely disgusting. The biggest red flag was that my sweet potato pie had hard seeds in it or I'm not sure what I bit into. Gumbo: lacked flavor and seasoning had lots of chicken and only 1 shrimp. Jambalaya: very soupy looked and tasted like tomato soup with a dollop of rice Sweet potato pie: bit into a seed or hard item, before that the crust was overcooked and the pie was dry Lemon poundcake: DRY super stale almost taste old Catfish: overcooked and funny tasting The rest of the food, I threw it away after biting into an unknown item in the sweet potato pie. My stomach hurts and I can no longer return I am so sad because I've been a loyal customer for almost 2 years.

Came here for brunch with a bunch of girls on a Saturday. No line or waitlist! Servers were really attentive and sweet. Perfect place to come for brunch with a larger group. You get free cornbread and butter as an appetizer while waiting. All the girls basically inhaled it. You typically order ahead and sit down but they can take your order at the table as well, but won't be able to split the check in the end. The meals were good but not to die for. Everyone was content. They made a mistake with my order but quickly made up for it in ways that made me very satisfied. People make mistakes, especially with particular orders like mine, but the staff here own up to it right away with kindness. It was very much appreciated. Always wanted to try this place. Glad I did. And I'd come back. Mac n cheese was great too. My gf ordered the chicken and waffles and said it was good. Another ordered oatmeal and said it was really good. One ordered jambalaya omelette and said it was good. Everyone else got the eggs Benedict and said it was good. So everyone seemed to use the same "good" comment.

Fried chicken, greens, Mac n cheese

I put off leaving this review for several months because I had high hopes and was disappointed. While the food wasn't bad, it also wasn't good. I did think it was lacking in flavor for the most part. The greens were bitter and the fried chicken just didn't have flavor. Honestly...the only thing that wow'd us was the cornbread and beignets, which is why I'm giving two stars. I personally thought the fried pickles were good too, though this was my first time every having them and someone else in my party said they weren't good. I would go back JUST for the cornbread and beignets if I was in the area. The service was nice, though I'm not sure if the cornbread is like free bread at work there restaurants. When we asked for another basket, the waitress seemed to hesitate, though she gave it to us anyways..it was just confusing and awkward. The inside of the building is cute. You have to walk up to the counter to order, then you get a number, and pick your own table. They'll bring the food out to you then.

I came here for dinner with my friend in celebration of her birthday. First time here for the both of us. I did not know they serve Southern comfort foods until I saw their menu. The last time I had amazing Southern comfort foods was when I was vacationing in Texas. So happy Georgia's is in So Cal! I love their dine-in concept. First, you order at the counter, then they give you your number, next you choose where you want to sit, and lastly, they deliver your food and drinks to your table. You're more than welcome to find a seat first and look at the menu before ordering... that works, too. They offer great choices in small bites, salads, plates, soulful sides, bowls, sandwiches, speciality items, desserts, and more. Everything look so good. I wanted us to try a little of everything. Service: We were greeted right away by Sim with a smile. He provided exceptional and friendly service from the get go... taking our order and all throughout the whole evening. All other staff members were very attentive, too. Thank you so much Sim and everyone else! Food: 1 Jambalaya in a cup - This was good, but seasoning could have been better. Full of shrimp, chicken, and/or sausage in every bite. 1 Gumbo in a cup - This had great seasoning with a really nice spicy kick to it. Again, full of shrimp, chicken, and/or sausage in every bite. If I had to choose between gumbo and jambalaya, I would pick gumbo hands down. Soul-fully delicious for my tummy! 1 Shrimp and grits - Lots of shrimps, grits were buttery in texture, and flavor was spot on. Portion was good. This is a must get if you love shrimp and grits. 1 Plate of fried catfish (3) with two sides, red bean rice and yams - Thick catfish lightly battered just the way I like it. Batter seasoning was perfect! Yams were yummy and sweet. Red bean rice was good, but it needed more savory and sweet to it IMHO. 4 Individual pieces of fried chicken - 2 legs, 2 thighs - Chicken was moist, but batter was a bit thick IMHO. If it had the same or similar batter as the fried fish, I think it would have been better. Still good fried chicken. 2 Mango Cart drinks - Perfect! Say no more. 2 Complimentary corn bread with whipped butter - Not the moistest corn bread, but not dry either. It had good balance in texture and taste. I enjoyed it very much especially with the whipped butter. We were offered another round of corn bread which we appreciate. Thank you! My friend ordered some beignets to-go. They tasted great. Thank you my friend for your good company, kindness, and generosity. Hope you enjoyed your b-day dinner as much as I did. Ambiance: Upon entry, I felt comforting by the bright lights and warm southern home-like decor. Simple and welcoming. I love it! All inside seating with good space. No outside seating. Parking: Georgia's is located in Eastvale Gateway on the north side. There are plentiful amount of free parking. Get here early to snatch yourself a closer parking space. All in all, everything was superb from amazing service to soul-fully delicious foods to cool ambiance. I am coming back here with my daughters to take down more delicious homemade Southern comfort foods. Can't wait to try their Po' Boy, other specialty items, and more. Thank you Georgia's for sharing your scrumptious Southern dishes with us!

For those of us that really know, how would you rate the food?

The food is like homemade. The restaurant is not too big and not too small, just right. Definitely a 10.

My order didn't come with the oysters or the hushpuppies, and another order at our table was also missing hushpuppies. After I got home, I called about the missing items and was told they were out of oysters. They also said the hushpuppies were forgotten and told me to let them know next time and they would take care of it. The seafood was seasoned well and tasted good overall. The only downside for me was the dark part in the fish (the bloodline), which has a stronger taste and isn't my preference. For sides, I had greens and candied yams. The greens were a little bland and needed more seasoning, and the yams were just okay--not very sweet. Someone with me ordered oxtails, mac and cheese, and collard greens. The oxtails were actually pretty good, but the mac and cheese wasn't for me (I don't usually like mac and cheese). The collard greens were just okay. The wait time was about 25-30 minutes, which they did mention ahead of time. One thing to note is that when we went, it was cash only because the card machine wasn't working. They accepted Zelle, but it would be helpful to have a sign posted. The place is small, but the customer service was great. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, and the staff overall seemed on point. Overall, the food was decent, but nothing that would make me come back.

Greens & Black eyed peas (this time) I had not stepped foot inside this hidden gem until yesterday. But when I did...my nose was violently assaulted the the aroma of someone's "Big Momma's or Grandfather's" kitchen. The cozy, warm, aromatic atmosphere engulfed us like a warm quilt, as we walked in from the rain. The gentleman we passed outside by the door walked in behind us and welcomed us as if we were expected for Sunday dinner at Big Momma's House! No, that is NOT the name of this magical kitchen, but maybe it... No, it is even appropriately named. I dont know what the "R" stands for, maybe its a play on the Southern dialect, for "Our?" or does it stand for someone's name? I'm sure the meaning of the "R" has everything to do with why the meal I have become so overwhelmingly familiar with is so consistently "Smack a Momma" good. Now, I'm not a professional food critic. But, I know my way around a few pots and skillets. I'm just an average Kentucky-raised, over-60, consistently looking for a good meal when I get hungry, don't feel like cooking or understands when my wife doesn't feel like cooking either, type of guy. Being country bred, from country folk, from a 1 traffic light, 1 cop car, outhouses still on the side or back of the houses; everyone knows everyone kinda town. I don't look for a Michelin Star restaurants, I just want a good cooked meal. Food that has been kissed by the ancestors of whoever goes outta their way to put their creations out to the public with no shame in their game or plates. My wife actually turned me on to "R-Kitchen"- in Lakewood. Her and her friends were out a while ago and called me at home asking if I wanted to try this kitchen's cooking. After 5 wife deliveres plates (all the smothered turkey wings) throughout several months, I finally experienced the personal down-home touch and smells of Lakewood's R-Kitchen. I've promised myself to explore the entire menu by ordering something different on each visit going forward. So, stay tuned, as I work off my last meal to make room for the next. In the meantime, drop by this gem of a kitchen and don't leave without grabbing a slice of that Lemon Cake!!!! ssshhhh!... someone told me they have a Gumbo Day!!!!

There was a deal on door dash so I thought I should take advantage of it and I decided to order from this place. Had never heard of it before but I was in the mood for soul food. I looked at the menu and didn't really know what to try, so I just went with old reliable; Fried chicken plate with Mac and Yams. I tried to order another side but each side was $10. So I was like "I'm not paying $10 for one side!" But MAN I should have! My food was INCREDIBLE.
