Disappointing food and service. When we arrived, there were five or six open tables, but all of them were dirty. After about two minutes, we were seated at a table that still hadn't been cleaned. We then waited roughly 10 minutes before someone came to take our order, and no one had even asked what we wanted to drink. Our waiter brought my tea but forgot my girlfriend's Diet Coke and had to be reminded. No one came back to check on us or offer refills. Staff appeared to spend more time talking in the back than checking on their customers. The food was bland and lacked flavor. Definitely the cornbread. The jambalaya tasted a little too much of tomato paste. Didn't really get that New Orleans feel or taste that usually comes with all that seasoning. It was good and had a decent amount of protein. That catfish was definitely crunchy but again it didn't have that seasoning. You really needed to ask for lemon and count on the sauces to give it flavor. The brussel sprouts we're very plain. It seems as though they just kind of put a little bit of oil and stuck it in the oven. I did ask for extra bacon but that was just sprinkled on top. Maybe if there was a glaze or a little bit more flavoring it would have stood out. The black eyed peas were cooked tenderly. Again though, it lacked that deep smoked meat flavor and needed a touch more seasoning. The steak sandwich was probably one of the better dishes. They definitely made it medium rare and the seasoning was perfect with it. They're bread was lightly toasted and went great with fries. This time I ordered the Southern Salmon with Mash Potatoes ($24.95). I also ordered a side of Mac & Cheese. My friend ordered the Southern Salmon as well and added Sautéed Shrimp. For 5 pcs of added sauté shrimp it's $3.95. We both agreed that the Southern Salmon was cooked to perfection. It is definitely something I will order again. I will say the people who work there are extremely nice and accommodating.could b a bit more organized though. The food was solid. The fried Catfish was decent, the collard greens were pretty decent too and the red beans and rice was excellent. The gumbo was solid but I wouldn't order again . Tried Georgia's Restaurant for the first time today and absolutely loved the whole experience. We were greeted by Sim, who was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant's history. The restaurant appeared to be very clean, both inside and outside. I came for lunch and was offered complimentary cornbread, which was soft, buttery, warm, and so delicious. The fried shrimp basket and Southwestern salad were fresh, yummy, and well-portioned. The French fries that came with the shrimp basket were perfectly fried and delicious. There was a great balance between crispy and soft. There was also a generous amount of shrimp in the basket, and the breading was so flavorful. The Southwestern chicken salad had a good amount of chicken and perfectly complemented the shrimp basket. The servers here are friendly and help maintain such a bright and relaxing environment. After just one visit, my group and I decided that we would have to make weekly visits to Georgia's and try all of the amazing dishes on the menu! Although there are other locations, I plan on returning to this one because of my fantastic experience in Eastvale.
