I just drove afar and bought some over priced chicken, which they kept flipping prices over the counter at $6.35 per pound. Most of the pieces are so horribly cut, some are not even a chunk enough for a full bite. When I called to inform the owner at the store, he continuously yelled and made remark about "Indian community" expectations for chicken at his store.. which I found to be racist. Please opt for other halal meat markets outside the area as they don't intend to make you a satisfied patron at their store. So much for naming the place 'Bismillah'

EAT THE SAMOSAS! Oh my goodness I order at least 20 at a time of their spicy chicken samosas. They…read moreare the best meat samosas that I have had in any place I have been to so far. DO NOT FORGET THE TAMARIND SUACE. It really enhances the already delicious samosas. I see the size of the samosas have gotten smaller (I will blame inflation...). Hopefully they do not get even smaller and become bite sized. I like the biriyani too. The flavor is light but I cannot get enough of it for some reason. Goat and chicken biriyani both tasty. The people who work here are super nice as well.

I've been trying to enjoy their food for months, and I will say I can't believe I didn't just come down on a weekend. (It's quite a ways for me, and with work... honestly I'm just making excuses. Now I know I needed to stop whining and just go.) The employees at the restaurant and grocery store both were very friendly! They helped me out tremendously as I had no idea what I wanted to eat and shop for, mostly because I've never had this type of cuisine. The flavor profile is insane. Especially in the three things I recommend. This corner of the world is known for their seasonings, and they 100% know how to use them. The meals here make you actually stop and appreciate the love that's cooked into the food. I honestly can't wait to try more meals here. This team really carries the flavor and quality to a whole new standard! It took me two days to type this up, as I honestly couldn't figure out how to put my experience into words. I really hope you enjoy your meal at least half as much as I have. Cons? I will say if you're not accustomed to this style of traditionally prepared meals, they do leave the bone in. Don't let that detour you, as there is a science behind the reason. Also, some people really like the bone marrow inside the bone. So that is the reason for the question mark, as I personally don't mind but know some people do. Also, you may want to park in the gas station next door as the parking lot is a little crowded at times. Plus you'll have a red light to aid in your departure.

The butcher and owner have always been pleasant and generous to me and my children. I typically try to plan my visit around the time they get meat from the farm. Upon the advice of the butcher, who assured u"goat mix" meat (- 2 packages of $19.58 and $20.37 ) were exactly the same quality as what we were looking to buy (Leg), we took the two packages home. Opening them, we discovered they were all back bones, and approximately 10% meat. I tried calling them to resolve this issue, and the butcher picked up the phone, and told me to "do whatever I want" and that there was "nothing wrong" with the meat. Misleading us amounts to cheating. The owner called us back to say we "only got what we paid for" - and that he is sorry, nothing can be done. We were happy to pay the fair price and get the cut we wanted. Needless to say, we will neither go back nor recommend this store.
