I met up with a friend and we were immediately seated. Things felt rushed and hectic, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly crowded. They have so many delicious-sounding things on their menu, and we were fortunately just in time for lunch because I was specifically craving their BLTA. SO good!! My second option would have been their Italian Sandwich. My friend didn't enjoy the soup or sandwich he got, which is a bummer. I'd come back again, though. They also sell baked goods, and I was tempted to get some before leaving. Next time! According to other Yelpers, their Grilled Cheese is amazing so I'm adding that to my list of things to try. Parking is never really super challenging in Georgetown (yet) so take advantage and support this local business next time you drive by.

I order Benedicts ALL the time, and this one was seriously so good. The hollandaise sauce was absolutely delicious. And to add to its unique beauty and charm, this provision stop is simply more than a mere everyday store. Supported by the town's residents and occasional visitors from the nearby communities, or people who are simply passing through on I-70, this place offers quality service to meticulously well-prepared soups, salads and sandwiches. Not only that, it's a souvenir shop and an antique shop. In a way, it's an everything shop!! The gentleman upfront greeted me with the most welcoming gesture and smile. While I was waiting for my turn, I thoroughly studied the menu so without a delay, I told him I would want the curried chicken salad (not the sub so without the bread). I then inquired about the several different types of insanely delicious-looking cookies displayed upfront in a round glass container. He this said, "Well, then let's talk about them!!" and immediately proceeded to lift the glass top to explain which one was which one by one. Since I like anything coffee, I went with the espresso cookie. The shop had a good number of guests at the time of my visit so my food took a bit longer and yet as the gentleman upfront told me that it would, this was anticipated. I had the whole afternoon so waiting was no problem. In 15 minutes or so, when my curried chicken salad was finally ready, he walked up to me with everything I ordered. He then said he had a little surprise gift for me. "Here is a complimentary little Valentine's Day gift for you!!" Awwww, what a nice gesture! To receive such love from a stranger was something I hadn't anticipated. This brightened my heart. Neighborly love was in the air for sure!!! Once I got to my car, I immediately opened the little gift. It was a chocolate-covered strawberry!! And in the white container, there was my curried chicken salad (two scoops of it). The portion seemed a bit small at the first glance and yet this was without the bread so this made sense. But what was most important was the quality of it. The curried chicken salad was impeccably delicious. Not overly done where the amount of curry and other ingredients were perfectly balanced with harmony. Not that I have had curried chicken salad many times in the past but this was by far the most satisfying curried chicken I've ever had. To go along with the rave about the salad, the espresso cookie was equally satisfying and impressive. The perfect amount of coffee taste along with the perfect amount of sweetness, the cookie was also flawless in every single aspect. The town of Silver Plume is so lucky to have this shop. Now I've got a question for you, Silver Plume Provisions, do you have any plans to open another location? If that ever happens, then please consider the Denver Tech Center (LOL!!)

The instantaneous gratification hit me where I almost uttered "I am glad that I took the time to come here!" I wanted to peruse the menu. To my "Give me a moment" statement, the kind lady said "Of course, take your time. We also have a Valentine's Day special drink right here!". It was a white chocolate based mocha which sounded quite sweet so I asked her if it was sweet to which she said "It's very sweet but we can always adjust it to half the syrup!" All kinds of considerate words were made in each of her reply. I decided to go simple today; I went with the drip coffee which comes with unlimited free refills. The lady gave me one of the cups and told me where the pot that contained the drip was located. Alongside the pot, there was a super mini refrigerator that contained two jars of cold milk: one is half and half and the other is oat milk. What a kind care the shop does to keep them chilled. The simple drip coffee was just what I needed; it hit the spot. And tasted clean with no burnt notes at all. Quality coffee indeed. As I was immersed in this review writing in the ambient setting, the shop started to fill with guests. Although it's so tucked in this little mountain town, there appear to be "coffee fanatic fans" that know this place. And like me, I assume that many of them are not the local town folk. There is no wonder why they are drawn to it; they know where to find great coffee spots. I loved every single bit of this cozy place.
