Georgetown is an unforgettable spot tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, with the quaint beauty of a mountain town but situated close enough in proximity that you can visit, do some shopping and be back home in the suburbs the same day. It's a convenient getaway but one that's just as a rewarding and satisfying as a much further trek into the Rocky Mountain National Park. The historical buildings and overall pace of life harken to a by gone era. From souvenir shops to ice cream parlors, you'll find plenty of fun, entertaining experiences to enjoy. This coffee shop is a local gem situated just off the Main Street. They have some sugar free syrup options, which is huge when my diabetic dad is visiting from out of state, and a mountain of books on the second landing for avid fans of the written word. From a stove flickering merrily in one corner to the standing lamps staggered strategically throughout the first floor, you'll feel as though you've stumbled upon a home away from home. My only complaint would be the lack of friendliness from the barista on more than one occasion. Still, it's a place worth checking out and stopping in for a sip or two. Fresh, flavorful pastries in stock make for the perfect fuel before a scenic hike or drive in the area.

Cute place with classic leather chairs and a few tables, and magazines to read. Lots of space. Cool as both front and back doors were open. Guy behind the counter talked a bit about trails. My Americano black coffee was good for $3.75. Coffee is available hot or cold with cremes and syrups. There are teas, too. For sale are cold bottle drinks, yogurts, chocolates, a few chips, pastries, candles, kitchen utensils, tea and coffee gifts and thermo water containers of all colors. Has a restroom. Parking is in the rear.

Came here with a few friends for some coffee for my first time in Georgetown. I loved it. It set the tone for the rest of my visit in Georgetown. It's very cozy inside and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I believe I had a Pumpkin spiced latte (I didn't order it, my friend did). It was delicious and did what it had to do. I also tried the strawberry creme soda which was also great and refreshing.

Cute seating area at Georgetown Coffee and Tea.

I really hate to give a small business a less-than-stellar review (especially a coffee shop). I love Georgetown and this spot is adorable with what looks like an upstairs library or bookstore and a plant shop next door. The seating is cozy. I love the high ceilings and big windows. I'd love to hang out here on a blustery winter day with a good book.  But unfortunately...my plain oat milk latte was not good. It's not often I can't finish a latte but I think I only managed a few sips. The espresso was incredibly bitter and it just didn't taste good at all. I want this adorable coffee shop to thrive and I hope maybe they can work towards better quality coffee. Would love to support this shop whenever we're in Georgetown.

Such a vibe. We are from Chicago and We came here about three years ago and was looking forward to visiting again and it did not disappoint. Coffee was delicious. Decided to try the Veggie Miso Soup and it was phenomenal. The decor inside makes for a great ambiance to take a break. Staff was very friendly and professional. Definitely coming back and recommending.

We weren't even that hungry, but I found this place on Yelp and thought we'd give it a try! The weather was perfect, so we sat outside, which was really nice. I order Benedicts ALL the time, and this one was seriously so good. The hollandaise sauce was absolutely delicious. One of those meals where you take a bite and immediately know you made the right choice. We ended up cleaning our plates way quicker than we expected. Definitely glad we stopped here. We ended up just walking back to check in with them and they seated us right away so the seating process was a bit wonky. The food itself was pretty solid and the bloody mary I got was ok not great. But certainly a cute, warm, family friendly atmosphere for lunch! All in all I do recommend it - just didn't get the full five stars due to the seating situation but otherwise the place is worth checking out!

From the historic mining legend/legacy to…read moresome chilling ghost stories, what this little town can boast about is so much more than its size. And to add to its unique beauty and charm, this provision stop is simply more than a mere everyday store. Supported by the town's residents and occasional visitors from the nearby communities, or people who are simply passing through on I-70, this place offers quality service to meticulously well-prepared soups, salads and sandwiches. Not only that, it's a souvenir shop and an antique shop. In a way, it's an everything shop!! The gentleman upfront greeted me with the most welcoming gesture and smile. While I was waiting for my turn, I thoroughly studied the menu so without a delay, I told him I would want the curried chicken salad (not the sub so without the bread). I then inquired about the several different types of insanely delicious-looking cookies displayed upfront in a round glass container. He this said, "Well, then let's talk about them!!" and immediately proceeded to lift the glass top to explain which one was which one by one. Since I like anything coffee, I went with the espresso cookie. The shop had a good number of guests at the time of my visit so my food took a bit longer and yet as the gentleman upfront told me that it would, this was anticipated. I had the whole afternoon so waiting was no problem. In 15 minutes or so, when my curried chicken salad was finally ready, he walked up to me with everything I ordered. He then said he had a little surprise gift for me. "Here is a complimentary little Valentine's Day gift for you!!" Awwww, what a nice gesture! To receive such love from a stranger was something I hadn't anticipated. This brightened my heart. Neighborly love was in the air for sure!!! Once I got to my car, I immediately opened the little gift. It was a chocolate-covered strawberry!! And in the white container, there was my curried chicken salad (two scoops of it). The portion seemed a bit small at the first glance and yet this was without the bread so this made sense. But what was most important was the quality of it. The curried chicken salad was impeccably delicious. Not overly done where the amount of curry and other ingredients were perfectly balanced with harmony. Not that I have had curried chicken salad many times in the past but this was by far the most satisfying curried chicken I've ever had. To go along with the rave about the salad, the espresso cookie was equally satisfying and impressive. The perfect amount of coffee taste along with the perfect amount of sweetness, the cookie was also flawless in every single aspect. The town of Silver Plume is so lucky to have this shop. Now I've got a question for you, Silver Plume Provisions, do you have any plans to open another location? If that ever happens, then please consider the Denver Tech Center (LOL!!)

I get it on ciabatta with bacon and their bacon is actually quality crispy, flavorful, not flimsy. The chipotle aioli is what really makes it though. So good. Heads up: this sandwich is big. Like, if you're not a big eater, you could easily split it. I didn't even finish mine and gave about a quarter to my mom It's perfect if you're about to have an active day and need something filling. I also ordered a medium matcha with vanilla and my total came out to about $20, which is a little pricey in my opinion but the portion size makes up for it. The matcha was good, but quick tip: if you like your drinks sweet, make sure to ask for sugar or flavor. I always forget and end up with a bitter drink lol. It's been on the "must go" list for a while but I finally had a chance to visit it on a beautiful mid-February day today. It sure was worth the drive and time all the way from the south Denver. The moment I stepped inside, the warm welcoming atmosphere was sensed. As soon as the lady upfront greeted me cordially, I felt more comfortable and relaxed. The instantaneous gratification hit me where I almost uttered "I am glad that I took the time to come here!" I wanted to peruse the menu. To my "Give me a moment" statement, the kind lady said "Of course, take your time. We also have a Valentine's Day special drink right here!". It was a white chocolate based mocha which sounded quite sweet so I asked her if it was sweet to which she said "It's very sweet but we can always adjust it to half the syrup!" All kinds of considerate words were made in each of her reply. I decided to go simple today; I went with the drip coffee which comes with unlimited free refills. The lady gave me one of the cups and told me where the pot that contained the drip was located. Alongside the pot, there was a super mini refrigerator that contained two jars of cold milk: one is half and half and the other is oat milk. What a kind care the shop does to keep them chilled. The simple drip coffee was just what I needed; it hit the spot. And tasted clean with no burnt notes at all. Quality coffee indeed. As I was immersed in this review writing in the ambient setting, the shop started to fill with guests. Although it's so tucked in this little mountain town, there appear to be "coffee fanatic fans" that know this place. And like me, I assume that many of them are not the local town folk. There is no wonder why they are drawn to it; they know where to find great coffee spots. I loved every single bit of this cozy place. My recommendation is only one of the multitude of others that know this place.
