Although I chose them out of convenience, I was really blown away by their honesty, responsiveness, and quality service. At my first visit, I was convinced that I needed a transmission overhaul (due to a grinding sound that I heard) as well as new brake pads. I dropped the car off and the technician (Rich?) was really helpful and patient. Within the same day, he called me and shared that he had driven the car for miles and did not detect any issues with the transmission or the brakes. In fact, he told me that the brakes were in fantastic shape and it would have been unethical of him to change them! I was a little embarrassed, but the car stayed in CA for many months before we shipped it and I wrongly assumed that the brakes were squeaking due to an issue with the pads. It turned out that it was just dust or debris, and Rich was correct that it was just dust! They charged me NOTHING despite working on my car for hours. I brought my car back a few months later because there was an intense grinding sound in the engine. Since my car is fairly old, I assumed the worst. When I described the sound to Rich, he asked a couple of clarifying questions, and told me exactly what the problem was, which was WAY less of an issue than I was expecting. It was a simple fix and very inexpensive. They also changed my oil and replaced my dome light. Weston is a small town and it doesn't seem like a lot of folks use Yelp to identify mechanics, as evidenced by this unused Yelp page! They then charged over $900 for the clutch repair kit - on average, online, I can buy one for $300. THEN, as I get the call yesterday that the car is ready, they tell me they went ahead and replaced the front passenger control arm for $300. I NEVER ASKED THEM TO DO THAT! Even the gas they sell was 20 cents higher than the rest of the stations in the area. Repair was good, price was not!

When I disputed the charge with my credit card company they flat out lied about what transpired and said I came in complaining about squeaky brakes and asked for a brake inception. This place is beyond shady. To boot, their quote to replace the brakes was more than the dealer, so their prices are terrible too.

He then says OK well you'll have to book again, we are three weeks out. Absolutely unnacceptable.
