Went in today with my parents who are redoing their kitchen and a guest bath. They asked if George's had any Moen fixtures and the first sales person told us "that would be Home Depot, you know big orange sign?" Super condescending and rude. You can just say, "we don't carry that brand here." Word of advice, some people who have 5 bathrooms in their house aren't buying top of the line fixtures for every single sink, tub and shower. Fortunately, we worked with another salesperson, Mike, who was knowledgeable and friendly. The selection was great, and pricing was reasonable. My parents will be purchasing 4 fixtures from him for their 2 kitchen sinks and butlers pantry. read more

This place doesn't even deserve one star. We had purchased faucets from Home Depot that are an obscure color and needed a roman tub fixture to match it. Upon finding out where our other fixtures were from, our salesperson said, "You bought the poor people stuff." Excuse me? Shall we compare credit scores? If you want to be treated like Pretty Woman, go shop here. The quality of the products is superior to many of the other fixture stores that we have explored these past couple weeks. However, if this business wishes to be more successful they really need to improve upon their customer service. Not all of the employees were lackluster and some tried to assist us, but when you've been called out as being poor it's really hard to move on from that. It was a huge relief to have Mike walk us through our choices (there are a lot of choices here!) distilling what our wants and needs were, saving us from feeling overwhelmed while wandering around the abundant displays. The summary: George's isnt cheap so this is not the place to come to if you are looking for just any ol' fixture. Although after Plumbing 101 courtesy of Lester I dont know that I would ever consider buying fixtures from a big box retailer (Lowes, Home Depot etc) ever again. However, the selection is incredible, Lester's service was informative and insightful and we walked away glad we came and not needing to visit Ferguson's. My husband and I are came here on a whim after deciding we wanted to touch and feel fixtures before making a choice. We pulled up and were immediately impressed by the selection. And then we met Lester. Lester is knowledgeable and invaluable, patient and honest. At no time during our experience did we feel pressured to make a purchase. He gave us options to consider in terms of how to minimize labor costs associated with demolition and installation (who knew retiling was so expensive) and was knowledgeable about the nuances between brands and their installation "quirks". One piece vs two piece toilets. Widespread vs centermounted fixtures. Shower valves. Kitchen faucets. I came away feeling like I could more confidently communicate with our plumber. Needless to say I am confident that as we continue this renovation process, Lester and George's will be our go to for all things plumbing (hardware). read more

From the moment I entered George's Showroom and mind you not to buy anything fancy but for help with buying very complicated plumbing parts and fittings and not only did Kel give me outstanding service, found every difficult item I required or ordered what needed to be ordered, he emailed me on a Sunday to update me. Additionally, he saved me hundreds of dollars by recommending that some of my bathroom fittings be plated and the business to whom he referred me were EXCELLENT too. We are in the middle of two projects and have been to Georges two times this week before the showroom has been fully open. The showroom is open at 8:00 am. They have been very nice and helpful in a quick timely manner. I hope you have scrolled down to the filtered reviews. Thats where the good reviews are. Yelp is great, but they don't always publish the good stuff in the first section. I have a small business and I appreciate good customer service and I appreciate the good yelp reviews. Shopping at George's was a big mistake. At their shop, salespeople are busy on their computers, ignore the customers and it's ten or fifteen minutes before anyone will come to help you. I was sold an expensive faucet that a week later my plumber said wouldn't work with my plumbing set up. I returned the faucet and was charged a 25% restocking fee. My credit card refund didn't come for three weeks. When I went to the shop to ask about my refund, again salespeople were busy on their computers and ignored me. I had to go out to the parking lot and call them from my cell phone to get any response. This is not a place where you want to shop unless you're desperate for specific expensive items that you can't get anywhere else. read more
