I learn George's Pipe & Plumbing Supply Company through my general contractor. My house was under major renovation back to 2013-2014. When it came to plumbing fixture, my general contractor had no hesitation of referring George's to me for its good products, on-time delivery and great customer service. I met Beth. She was knowledgeable with great patience, also very artistic. She helped me to choose different style of sinks, faucets, toilets and all needed accessories for my kitchen and 3 bathrooms. All parts she suggested stood out with distinguished characters to represent each room with uniqueness. We have all truly benefited from Beth's experiences. In addition, all the parts were delivered on time! It was so important for our renovation schedule! Thank you, George's! I have witnessed your service. During these two years, whenever I have a question and encountered some issues, Beth worked closely with the manufacturers and solved the problem timely. I recently remodeled 2 bathrooms at the same time! Someone recommended George's and i'm so glad I ordered through them. I worked with Beth who was incredibly knowledgeable and took the guesswork out of it. I'm not even sure how anyone could know what to order without a place like this because it just wouldn't occur to most of us to order certain parts. and i was a newby. I also had to return and exchange items here and there, which was very much my fault as I didn't measure correctly. and she was always accommodating and understanding. they stand by their products which is also wonderful. I didn't feel anything was overpriced but it was very high quality and Beth worked with my budget. Wish I had found this place sooner! I was looking for a particular pedestal sink with matching toilet that had a 6 week wait for the sink. I call and speak to Bob as I was told they may have at least the toilet in stock. Turns out there was a brand I had no idea existed that Bob recommended instead because it looked more authentic for my vintage remodel. And they had the sink/toilet in stock! Bob had the tub overflow assembly I needed for my old cast iron tub too. I just described the 1940s tub I had and he knew exactly what I was talking about. Bob is a plethora of bath knowledge. If this place doesn't have what you are looking for in terms of bath or kitchen stuff, then no one will. Lots of upscale stuff you won't see elsewhere all displayed beautifully. Lester is very smart, knowledgable and very easy to work with. He made buying for 5 bathrooms, a laundry room (sink) and a kitchen fun. Elizabeth is great too. They all are. Is there a way of giving George's Plumbing six stars? My wife and I embarked on the daunting task of doing an extensive remodel to a home we had recently purchased. Being an architect, I knew how much of a strain that can put on a relationship. The work included a complete remodel of two bathrooms and the kitchen. Our contractor recommended George's Plumbing. Wanting to do our homework, we checked out three other suppliers and George's definitely had the best selection and the most competitive prices. We interacted with several knowledgable and helpful sales associates there, but our main contact person was Mike Rittenberg. Mike was pleasant, knowledgable and had great advice for us. Once we had made our selections, deliveries were on time and the faucets, drains, etc. did not disappoint. Towards the end of the project we decided to add one more bathroom to the scope. Mike ensured that we stayed on schedule. On a couple of occasions we had a few issues with what had been delivered to George's by the manufacturer and each time Mike resolved the problem professionally and with a great attitude. While redoing a 30 year old condo went to Georges for the first time. Our sales person was Allen (Love him!) We was fantastic to work with. The quality is great and prices reasonable. I have been to many plumbing stores until my designer and contractor highly recommeded George's Showroom. Soon as I walked in, i was greeted by more than three crew. The showroom is nice they even offered coffee and cookies while you shop. I decided to purchase my fixtures here because Beth was attentive and very detailed. She did not miss a thing on our estimate list. And true enough when everything got delivered each box was labelled with the room#. Everything was well organized. George's is a company that you want to keep around. I've been using George's since 1987. I was surprised to read some of the negative reviews because they do not reflect the overall stellar quality of this company. First, plumbing is one of the most important things to get right in your home. These people know what they are doing. Since they have lots of clients who are design professionals, the average consumer might feel a little "at sea" at first. If the sales people are busy and don't immediately come up to you, be patient. You will be able to track someone down when you are ready for more information. I've done two extensive remodels over the years on an historic home. The first time I told George's the brand I wanted to buy to update the master bath. It was pretty, but turned out to have a defective ceramic disc system. Too late for me because it was installed behind tile! So now I always ask about reliability and ease of maintenance of a product before I buy. (Some people don't care and just want the "look"--I consider overall cost and longevity.) The second time around, I asked George's for the best quality, best value and most reliable products to consider . . . and got excellent advice and service. I didn't choose the most expensive or prettiest options, but I made an informed decision that suited me. Every day, I love the decisions I made. Maintenance and replacement parts are a whole different issue and equally important to me. Again, George's ranks way above the other retailers who simply sell you the product. Lane is a wonderful problem solver and patient with those of us who are willing to learn! George's is a locally owned company and resource that I feel very lucky to have available. read more

Our salesperson was Rick, who is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. 2 years after our sink install it cracked. I don't know why-- a faulty sink, something with the install-- it's a mystery. This is a very difficult to find establishment, but once you do, I think you'll be impressed. The showroom, etc., isn't fancy, but well stocked and displayed. It is small, though, so if you need lots of showroom show-off, this may not be the place for you. But, if you want a good selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff, I wish that I could give it a higher than 5 star review. Beth Ngo, the sales associate that assisted me was great. My order was very small, and even so, she treated me like I was handing them a major one. So, if I ever need their services, I'd definitely go back. WE ARE IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE! DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! We are doing a full renovation on a 2,500 square foot home, and making a billion choices (especially during a pandemic) has been pretty brutal. We went to George's competitors first, and felt totally ignored because it might not have seemed like we were serious buyers (to which, they were very wrong and lost a lot of money). From the second we walked into George's, we were greeted kindly by everyone without feeling like they were trying to sell us on anything. After all of the difficult people and frustrations we have come across during this renovation, George's was a breath of fresh air and truly the highlight of our home renovation experience. The owner went out of his way to be kind and is one of the most personal and genuine people we've met in a long time - he made us feel like family (when we first went in the store, we were just casually browsing and met the owner. We came back months later, he remembered us and made sure we were in good hands!!). We ended up working with JASON LEE, and he truly is the best. He gave us the best deals, is incredibly knowledgeable about all products, helped us with design decisions (he brought up things we would NEVER have thought of), was always quick to respond and incredibly communicative, never seemed annoyed by our copious amount of questions, and has made us feel totally supported and taken care of in this process from the moment we walked into the store until everything was installed. Jason and the owner truly care that you are happy and they are invested in your home looking beautiful. My wife and I joke about how we wish we could go hang out at George's, and we may or may not now own George's Pipe and Plumbing shirts that we will proudly wear around town bc we are the biggest fans of this place! read more

We walked into George's this morning (Saturday 4/26) and we were enthusiastically greeted by the parts guy and as we entered the showroom. I even mentioned, "You guys,"(I'm from Chicago and we call everyone 'Hey guys') "must have been reading your yelp reviews!" Yes, I was being sarcastic, but these folks actually meant their greetings. You know what I mean; If you ever walked into a Petco or the Gap or a ... or a... ok, wherever the employees are trained to yell hello even when they don't look at you, or mean it or are even directing it in your direction, they just say it because it's corporate policy and they want the mystery shoppers to check off the box - "Did they greet you?" Technically they did, but... We were helped by Alan and Beth and I believe Rick. No one ignored us, no one treated us with disdain or contempt. They were all extremely helpful. Even when I made an odd request for a step stool, so I could reach one of the faucets on display, Beth was right there to help us out. I found them courteous, friendly and helpful. Wait a minute, I could be describing boy scouts here. Well, if the shoe fits. We are awaiting the formal quote, but already know what we will buy and from who. As far as we are concerned, this is the place. Oh yes, I failed to mention selection. We didn't lack for wanting, so trust that they will have what you need. If not, you certainly didn't waste anytime in searching out options. Needless to say, this will be where we purchase our sink, faucet and accessories for our kitchen redo. Thanks George's! And NO(!) There was a major delay on one of my custom finish rain shower head, and both Paynal Ward and Jason Lee (I highly recommend that you ask for either one of them if you need help. I have always received great customer service from them, and once again the quality and courtesy of their service has been proven. I had selected and ordered a number of items from Mike R. at George's for a bathroom remodel, but when my existing fixtures were removed, I realized that my design needed to be rethought. I returned/exchanged several of the items, and George's was so considerate of my indecisiveness! So nice to have a local dealer with a big, beautiful showroom and helpful, courteous staff. This place sucks!! I was there looking for some faucet waiting to get a quick question answer. The guy at the parts when on and on with another customer. Dude, I just have a quick question on what kind of adapter I need. I waited 15 minutes and still the they kept on talking away. Poor customer service would never go back again. Buyer BEWARE. There is a 35% "restocking fee" for returns on all items (even unopened ones). This fee is NOT posted, NOT included on any documentation, and NOT explained at checkout. If you want to exchange rather than return, the "restocking fee" goes down to 25%. I got a call from Bob, the manager of the sale department, after my initial review. I accepted his apology and thought it was nice for them to acknowledge it. However, when my Thermasol unit indeed have some problems a months later, I gave Bob a call at Thermasol's suggestion and was shocked to hear the same Bob changed to someone really nasty. He attacked me for not buying all the plumbing products from them and claimed the unit was perfect and I hired a bad installer, etc. I was literally speechless. In contract, the Thermasol service department did their investigation and acknowledged some issues with the control and offered to exchange it. Then, Bob did not send me the sales record for my warranty claim as promised until I called him again a week later. During my follow up call, I got another round of nasty comment. Well, this is going to be my last review on them. I can only say the sales department upstairs at George really needs some work to live up to their name. To be fair though, the part team downstairs there is very good and helpful. (Original comment) Bought a thermosol steam unit from this store. We have a simple question regarding the unit to ask during the installation. When I called, the salesperson who was very nice when I bought the unit turned very rude. He did not tired to understand my question and nor did he bother to check the model I bought. He made comment implying I am stupid and the installer I hired was not licensed. I like George plumbing a lot and buy stuff there all the time. This experience really made me lost trust in the store. read more

Avoid going to this place. Unfortunately, they have delayed the completion of my bathroom by 3+ months and they have NOT tried very hard to rectify the utter failure to deliver on their promise! I ordered a bathroom vanity from Villeroy and Boch as recommended by George's plumbing salesperson. I was told it will take 4-6 weeks. I waited. I checked-in. Now, I'm being told, the manufacturer isn't sure when the vanity will be done. 8-9 weeks total go by, and then, I was told that the vanity would not be in for another 6 weeks... maybe! Uhhh, I don't think so! I cancelled my order. I have been without a sink in my bathroom for over 2 months! My contractor and I had to initiate all the follow-ups. The manufacturer didn't seem to care. Salesperson from George's plumbing basically explained it wasn't their responsibility. Very unprofessional. So unacceptable. The salesperson did try to give me one alternative solution. She presented it within 24 hours of cancelling my original order. With more than two months squandered, I desperately told her that I was interested right away and to look into it. Two days go by and I don't hear from her. She had a day off. No problem, but she did not tell me and once again I'm having to follow-up to find out what is going on. As it turned out, the alternative solution was not going to work out. This was the only time she actually apologized. Her manager never contacted me. That was it. Customer service was not bad when they were trying to get my business. After they charged me, the customer service was sadly, indifferent. The way they dealt with situation basically communicated, "Too bad for me and my family." Now I'm back to square one, but minus 3 months and still no sink in my bathroom. :( Don't do business here! read more

I am very grateful to George's! I was remodeling my bathroom. I ordered a custom sink from Snyder diamond. They completely botched my order. My contractor needed the materials that day. Unbeknownst to me, The owner rescued me. They had just mounted a brand-new sink and cabinet with plumbing connected that day. The dimensions style and color were perfect. The sales person was not sure if he could sell me this item that was just mounted. He called over the owner. He gave me an incredible deal! He also included all the plumbing and mounting I needed for the job that day. I would have had to pay my contractor for a day lost. It wasn't until I looked up the yelp account to write a review, that I found out the man that helped me was the owner. I am eternally grateful! I am remodeling my kitchen next. I agree with the previous reviewer who said this place doesn't even deserve one star! We were given a recommendation to go here, so we did. The place was a madhouse! So many people and definitely not enough employees to help. When we were looking at the displays, my husband bent over to get a closer look, and accidentally hit his head on a fixture, which cause a laceration and bleeding. We desparately tried to get help from anyone, all we wanted was a bandaid, but could not get the attention of a single employee! We left in disgust and will never go back! read more
